  1. LOL I've played lots of Pro battles. Isida is ridiculously strong there - just happens to be target #1. But Noise, Island, Polygon? Those are noob maps. No wonder you are complaining. Those maps are designed for Freeze and Fire and Twins. Go play some real maps.

  3. Stop adding double-damage without DA on defender. Else you are comparing apples to... trucks. In your example... is the attacker taking any damage from any defender? What if defender is ... TWINS? Both your examples are short-range turrets. Are they teleporting to attack range? Or are they maybe... taking damage en route, or even being destroyed? "Even if isida has a 50% module it will die (Medium Hulls) in 5.4 sec" 5977 < 6000 so... not true. "kills Medium (Double Damage) = 1.4 sec" ... no DA "kills Medium Hulls (high average damage) = 1.2 sec" ... no DA .. this is what I'm referring to.
  4. Supplies have been talked to death for years. They are not going anywhere. So then look at next factor in the equation - ODs. Supplies are really only an issue with hornet OD, so... it's the OD that is the problem, not supplies.

    Maybe you are clicking the wrong button. Are you selecting a battle mode or just hitting "Play"?

  7. I suppose. Then that's another setting I need to look for when joining battles - like that stupid friendly fire one. So frustrating to end up in battles with that enabled.

  9. That part was obvious. Why would someone want to create a map without spawn protection? Spawn protection is there for a reason. Give us a better reason for it to not be available.

    If you are in Noise it's a Pro-Battle. Only do battles there that have ODs disabled. Can't believe anyone is willing to play Blue on Noise. Blue is it a huge disadvantage under any circumstances.

    Fixed it for ya. They homogenize the game with every update in order to compete with the other games out there. Every year it looks more and more like Super Mario Kart.
  13. I'm not against some form of invisibility - all depends on what specifics are actually applied. I am definitely against passive abilities. It's all or nothing. Charging OD and no benefits. Activate OD and use benefits. As for 2x charging when at full health... can't support that. Will be abused by players deliberately not interacting in the battle and selfishly hiding / avoiding enemy contact until they get the OD. Plus they have an advantage upon spawning since they start with 100% health. Even more impactful on larger maps when there's more time without seeing enemies.
  14. Disagree. Buyers generate their ODs way faster than F2P tankers. OD is the single-largest game-changer. Have OD more often and the power gap keeps getting wider. Ever been in a battle where an enemy is capping the flag within 20 seconds. More likely than not it's a buyer with fully upgraded expensive drone, 50% modules + a hull immunity. They just boosted their OD close to 100% and then will use that to generate even greater score. It's a positive feedback loop that keeps them at top of scoreboard.
  15. Took me ~ 1.5 years to get to Legend (end of 2016?). Did that without missions like we have now. Maybe the mission-chain started about time I was Gismo... can't recall. In 2015 there was no matchMaker. ALL battles were selected from list. You could pick the maps you liked and enter battle with proper equipment. There were also a LOT more players in no supply battles. Now it's hard to find decent battles that exclude Overdrives. I hate OverDrives and I believe they are killing the game. I only play MM to complete missions. I guess the mid ranks - before you get stuck playing Legends - was the best. I started a new account about 1 year ago. It's at Commander now.
  16. I like no-supply (and no Overdrive) better because it relies more on skill. But my point was that it is even today. Everyone gets supplies as rewards by doing missions and has enough if they manage them. Was not so in 2015. Supplies Were not even. In terms of supplies buyers had a huge advantage over F2P (like me). Today that advantage has been shifted over to Augments and Drones. Those are comparable to the supplies of 2015.
  17. I started playing in 2015. BUYERS had lots of supplies and dominated the battles. And cooldowns and RKs were not the same. RK was way more potent back then. Today, everyone has lots of supplies. It's even. If you don't manage the supplies you will run out and be at a disadvantage. But that's on the user. Don't get me wrong - I prefer no-supply battles. But at least in MM it's on even footing today. 2015 - was not even footing.
  18. You leave out so much of your equation just to try to prove your point. Target has 3000 health. 6000 with module. + Isida healing it. PLUS target has repair kit. Fire does 1050/sec. = 10,500 damage total before empty. 6000 + 4400 + 1000RK = TARGET NOT DEAD. Fire will also be taking damage from the TARGET. (and the Isida if it is smart). In those 10 seconds you think the Firebird will survive? And you've picked basically the most OP example there is. Incendiary Mix is a broken augment. Now do your example with Hammer. Or Smoky. Or Twins.
  19. Well Overdrives are on every hull so you will see them in every battle. Drones are very prevalent in Legend battles. Team with most Drones wins ~ 70% of the time.

  22. Attacker DD + DA but defender no DA. You have a ridiculous example. It evaluates nothing in a real battle situation. Your example is a big pile of ?
  23. Can't tell if your calculations include DA for defenders. Good chance there's fire resistance module. Include that too. IM does 700+50%/sec = 1050 second. Would take 2+ seconds for it to kill a medium hull that has no fire resistance. In your example the isida is originally healing someone. That someone, will 1) damage the firebird before it's in attack range [unless another short-range turret] and 2) damage it along with the Isida.
