The radius is not being doubled. The amount of damage is.

Not health. Overdrive. Wasp and Viking are the only ODs to get a boost.

Can Hornet do 8000 damage in the 9 seconds it gets? Can Hunter do 8000 damage in the 5 seconds of supply cooldown? I actually think Viking, with proper turret, can do 8000 damage in 7 seconds. I've killed JUG with my smoky on a Viking.

NO. Archipelago (the worst map ever) is already in MatchMaker. They need to remove it.

Hardly. If target had module + DA you might do 500 damage. Without those you might do 2000 damage. You don't see that as a damage multiplier? If you really want actual increased damage, use Viking. That is what the OD is for.

UM... "spend more time in battle" while reducing the length of battles? "action time" = 7 sec to 14 sec? Double the duration? But most other hulls get nothing? hardly seems fair...

Too small for 16 tanks. And the bloody hopper can "fly" a good chunk of the map distance (over the barriers) making it disproportionally powerful there.

You get a lot more practice shooting rail gun than you do delivering a wasp bomb to nullify a hopper. Most players using Rail at Marshal or above are far beyond the need for practice. It's second nature to them. As for damage - it's all relative. Relative to other turrets it does a lot of damage over long distances with a surprisingly short reload.

Oh I understand how it works. But it's nice to know the individual hornets get a nerf. Their scoring will be affected and I do feel a little joy at that news.

Easier said than done. They need to remove the stun from hopper or give it delay like Hunter suffers. It's dumb that the OD "leaps" + burns + has a better stun effect than Hunter does. Plus they need to tweak the distance it can go. I don't think they tested much it's abilities when equipped with maxed out drones. They are capping flags way to easily. I see this every battle.

So it received a double nerf (only targets in view & went from 20 seconds to 9 seconds). SWEET!

You must not have not been in many battles where the team with 2+ hoppers keeps scoring goals and capping flags "at will" while equipped with Defender or Crisis, winning 5-0. The hull bypasses defenses and makes using mines useless. On small maps like sandbox and sandal, the OD allows it to "leap" a huge portion of the map. It's comical in a sad way. As someone else has said when it was introduced, many of the players not using the hull just feel like spectators in the battle. The reason u see players using it is because it is OP. That's the META these days - whatever is OP gets lots of use. Just look at hornet and all the turrets that combined to one-shot-kill with it's OD.

I disagree. Augments and Drones have swung the balance so far in favor of buyers that F2P tankers are leaving by the dozens. The more layers of power they add (even if [some] of those layers are in garage) the wider the gap between buyers and F2P. The premium augments like immunity will break the game.

There are 6 overdrives that either ignore or bypass the Titan Dome. Hunter OD and Titan OD will disable a Dome already placed. Ares, Wasp, Hornet and Mammoth all can do full damage to the targets in the Dome. It's almost not worth deploying the dome - it's been relegated to countering wasp bomb or another titan. And then there's the AP augments coconuttree mentioned which means any hull can ignore the dome. Hornet OD lasts for 20 seconds. Don't see anything documented that says hornet-OD armor breaking lasts less than 20 seconds. Maybe the 9 seconds is for the augments?

Just finished a rugby battle on wolfenstein where hopper was coming into base over the bloody walls. It was just ridiculous.

Gold Box taking? That's just a sideshow. Hopper makes capping flags and scoring goals too easy. That unbalances the game itself. You must be playing some real noob hoppers if you can "blast them with your firebird". The stun lasts as long as Hunters. If the Hopper is still near you after that they have no clue what they are doing.

Some are too small. But I fondly remember the Esplanade days. Is a good map with a bit of everything.

So many crappy battles. End up with players in CP that refuse to try and cap points. I've left a lot of battles over past couple weeks. Whatever happened to that player complaining about tankers leaving battles? That poster needs to get placed with the total losers I get saddled with ALL THE TIME. -

Must be Pro-battles if he's re-joining same battle. Would have to be very lucky to rejoin same MM battle. And sounds like a real noob - leaving a battle to avoid a death. Games the system for something that in the end, means nothing. -

Can really only happen if you play exclusively Pro-battles with friends - defined roles like the Isida-Dictator with no supplies. Entire team gathers around you at 100% and the battle score shoots up. In MM you could never achieve that on a consistent basis with all the random factors involved. -
Mammoth had inviciblity for only 7 seconds and they took that away. Your suggestion is a form of that, so I don't see it happening.

Depends on the combo. As a Titan user I'd prefer AP immunity. Much fewer deaths in each battle I'd say - Dome will become a lot more useful. Of course the vulcan-incendiary-heat-immunity combo IS ridiculous. And don't act injured when someone politely points out a mistake. Just because you know what you intended does not mean everyone reading it does.
