    They leave because ... when an enemy team caps early, with 5 (or less) minutes they know a come-back is difficult. Longer battles will give players more hope of a comeback. The 5-minute battles are terrible. Not to mention with only 6 per side, a mult has a more drastic effect on your team. 5 vs 6 is worse than 7 vs 8.

    So Far I call this test a Big Fat Failure. Do you think that there were less occasions when you were destroyed where you spawned and were consequently completely useless to your team? Possibly. Not often enough to make up for the negatives. See below. How did the benefit of well-timed overdrives and drones change? Not a bit. How did the importance of team gameplay change? It did not. Same lack of team-play as before. Could this experiment change your interest in the game? Yes. I am much less interested in the game. Do you have any suggestions on how to improve these changes? Besides getting rid of them? See below - 5 minutes is too short - players leave after first cap and battle is over. Often 6 vs 5 or worse. - Defense on Assault is impossible. The 2x health means it's impossible to kill "attackers" before they cap - especially with Defender Drone. I went 6-for-6 on the attack and none of the battles were close. - The battles are boring - takes forever to kill one tank. What is Health of mammoth with Defender? 20,000? 24,000? - Turrets like Hammer struggle to kill even a medium hull. Impossible without 5-shot magazine. - Wasps now run amok because they can't be killed before they get within freeze, bomb or fire range. This experiment is a complete bore-fest. It needs to stop ASAP.

    Can't believe we still have campers in 6 vs 6 battles ... in SIEGE mode. Two battles in a row it was 5 vs 6 and... most of my team just camped. No one (but me) was trying to cap or prevent a cap. Quick exit from those noob battles. It's official - SIEGE just absolutely sux tonight. Either it's uneven teams (5 vs 6) or I'm stuck with mults that basically do nothing all battle.

    Everyone might have supplies - but they are no longer the luxury - they are standard. The P2W aspect has moved to Drones (+batteries) and Augments - especially hull augments (immunities). Not everyone has those, and the immunities can only be bought with TKs ($) or if you are very lucky in containers. And some are offered in Challenges but again you need TKs.

    Opened 15 containers today. Two of the rewards were augments (surprised!). Reinforced Gun Carriage and Destabilized Plasma. I see the RCG in my garage but not the DP. What happened to the DP?
  10. "The cause of this update is to make battles more strategically interesting and let you spend more time in the battle itself, rather than spending time respawning." And yet, at the same time they lower battle duration from 7 min to 5 min. Boggles the mind. If your playing Assault you don't even need 5 min. Attackers win 70-15 in about 4 min. EVERY TIME.

    There's no way I'm playing defense in Assault modes. Until you have OD charged there's not a chance you can stop the attackers - they have way too much health. Just played two battles (both in Rio oddly enough) and the battles were not close at all. Something like 60-10 each time. 5-0 on attacking in Assault. It's so easy it's a complete joke. Wish I still had a mission on scoring goals.

    Try killing a heavy hull with maxed Defender drone. You might get it done 2 minutes into the battle with sustained fire. How many hits from a 120mm cannon do you think modern main battle tanks can sustain? If you want tanks to feel like tanks... this is not it.

    Unfortunately there are people out there that don't have a clue about fairness. All they care about is winning - whatever it takes. I'm guessing these people never played boardgames, or had a lot of frustration in them and gave up because a fair playing field did not offer enough satisfaction. Instant gratification is what they are after. I'm not opposed to P2W gaming - it's hard to keep it going without an incentive for people to spend $. Unfortunately the DEVS are taking things to the extreme - the pendulum has swung too far to one side. It is a short-sighted move; as more and more F2P tankers leave, the game will become unsustainable. Buyers will only be playing against other buyers and will just stop spending $ as it gives no advantage. They will find something else too.

    Then I'm done. Not a chance I continue to play this game if these test conditions become permanent. I think Twins is such a noob turret, but you'd absolutely need to buy it to continue play under these conditions.

    Well, with 5 minutes and 6 tanks, when a team-mate bails after the enemy team caps an early flag the battle is over. Firebirds are everywhere now on wasp. They have 2x the health now that enables them to deliver their bomb before they die. And stock hammer with 3 shots is useless on anything except a light hull. Unless you use hornet with AP good luck killing a Titan/Mammoth with Defender drone. And that does not even take into account the Dome. This test is horrible.

    We also know that using hammer without the 5-shot magazine is futile. Can't even kill a medium hull up close. Twins, fire and Isida have a huge advantage, especially considering we will see more of the "smaller" maps during this 2 week "test".

    Every battle with this test has been a joke. With only 5 minutes and 6 players a side - as soon as one team caps the losing side has deserters. No chance of coming back when it 6 vs 5 or even 6 vs 4. It's absolutely horrible. Oh... and wasp firebirds with incendiary are everywhere. The double health means it is much harder to kill them before they are in range. Then once in range...

    This test is so dumb. Viking with 14 seconds is ridiculous. And if you don't equip Defender you might as well leave the battle - you don't have a chance.

    I think that was just an example. From what I understand ALL hulls will have 2x health and two hulls (viking and wasp) get a buff to OD.

    You had to be extremely lucky - like inside a Titan dome at the outer edge of blast radius. 90% of the time you die.
