    Does Arcade not have "weak damage" around 25%? If so - that 33 does not sound even close to being correct... Unless you are facing 50% module in addition to other factors. Which means you weren't going to do 1,300 damage either.

    It's not exactly the rewards from Challenges that are a problem - well in a way they are... The buyers will get higher in the tiers and also get the other (higher) level of rewards - making the income gap even larger. But it's the effect on gameplay. Do you not honestly not see a difference in how battles are fought now as players often struggle to get more stars? The game-play is more selfish and less team-based. The team-based aspect has been in decline for some time - but Challenges just makes it so much worse.

    I don't follow your logic. How do you figure this to be the case? Are you suggesting players are purposely not playing well? Even if so... they will eventually do "better" because of lesser competition, and then move up in MM grading - even if involuntarily. But I highly doubt players are purposely not upgrading tanks or "throwing" battles in order to play lesser competition.

    You mean like it really only takes triple-shot 1 second to fire 3 shots... since..."the first shot is already loaded" Alterations are of course like drones - ways for buyers to get advantages...

    Not a clue... Your rank is too low. Wonder what you will buy when you reach... Colonel... 0.27 or 1.5 seconds... when you're relatively close, not a lot of options for target. Sure you might get an RK off... and then? My point was ... a turret that can kill a medium hull at range of infinity should not have that kind of prowess up close. The re-load for Shaft and hammer are comparable - even considering Triple-shot drains all the energy. The way these alterations make a turret better borders on stupidity... The "give" in this case should be a nerf to the long-range aspect. Instead they give a tiny nerf to overall reload of aspect they just buffed. To get off 3 shots it takes stock Shaft 4.5 seconds.

    So it can do same damage up close as a Duplet Hammer, and at far, far distance kill a medium hull with one shot. LOL :D :lol: :lol: What the heck are they thinking? Why would a Shaft player use any other alteration?

    Do NOT buy any other m1 kits. If you like smoky - upgrade it as fast as you can - without speed-ups. Last 1/2 steps should all be done on sales. Also upgrade Titan as well, but I would make smoky priority for MUs. Target an m2 kit only if it is different from your Titan/smoky combo. Medium hull and closer range turret would be good.

    K/D still means nothing - unless your near 0.50 I would not worry about it. Alterations and Drones are very, very powerful. They are the new way for buyers (or "lifers") to gain an advantage. Would do you a lot of good to become very familiar with them, and figure some counters. Example - afterburn is very common now since many turrets can get this effect. A MU-ed Fire module is absolutely necessary. Only way Strikers and Smokies are 1/2 shotting you is because they have an alteration or drone. Supplies are the norm now (more-so than before) so you need to counter DD with DA often. As (stock) Striker does average of 880 damage, it should not be one-shotting an unprotected hull with DD. So perhaps that is the alteration that boosts damage. You can't rely on 1 main combo anymore because of the random maps. And you also need fully upgraded protections. For a while you should just play enough to complete daily - then weekly - missions so you can build up supply stash. Or play Pro-Battles no supply as well - get crystals without spending supplies.

    So... just pick off players with one-shot-kills every 10 seconds or so? That sounds fair... :blink: There's a reason the scope was added in the first place. You aren't supposed to stay in scope for half the battle. Battleground awareness is also a skill.

    It really, really needs work. I still can't understand how 3 tanks go 0-30 in a TDM battle - unless they are direct mults. There's no way they are "inactive" through server lag for that long. If you had active participants in that TDM - result could have been vastly different. Take 10-15 kills off their side, add 10-15 kills to your side (for these 3 alone) then buff rest of your teams results cuz having 8 vs 8 makes all your team better. I played in a battle last night where the other side had a Clan (could see their tags) and we got stomped. I really do not believe we had a Group. They need to make it more transparent and tag groups. If Clans are tagged - why not groups?

    Depends on what and how you play. Campers are likely to use less supplies (fewer RKs, SB and DS) than anyone heading into enemy territory. On the other hand, flag-stealers are in the danger zone way more often and are thus going to need to use more supplies. My Brigadier account has used 33k supplies - and that's partly due to missions and partly due to enemies using lots as well. Plus TO, over last couple years has increased the amount of supplies in circulation. People have them - they will use them.
  16. MM has crappy map choices for everyone - not just players with twins. I like Smoky on one account and Vulcan on another. But it keeps putting me in Sandal & Industrial zone. Hardly ever see Rio or Serpuhov. And as mentioned, you won't see maps any smaller than Sandal or Sandbox - cuz 8 vs 8 on even those maps is kinda dumb.

    Drone itself does +100% (stock) to +200% damage. I already had your DA cancelling out the DD that activates the damage for 5 seconds. So not considering any sort of protections I guess it does 14k damage... um... WOW :o so... I guess the DA gets applied once all damage if calculated? 14k/2 (DA) = 7k... /2 for module = 3.5k??? You... survive???

    Striker salvo does average of 3520 damage. Booster drone is +100% to +200% I believe. 3520 + 100% = 7040 3520 + 200% = 10, 560 You would have to upgrade to ~ 45% on the module to survive stock Booster drone Nothing you do will help you survive fully upgraded Booster. Well - I guess if you had defender drone and managed to activate it in time... good luck!

    Did you mean to quote me instead of Issimo? Issimo seemed to be actually defending the current system... It's not about resentment of other players. It's about not getting a fair shake from TO. Pretty much all of the system changes are designed to reward buyers and hard-core players, and so casual players fall further and further behind. At the very least make missions more possible for players who don't play each account 2 hrs per day. Because if casual players continue to leave (or new ones don't stick) then guess what happens to buyers and hard-core players when they have to wait longer for battles and have only each other to fight?

    Of course the match was unbalanced - the 3 highest-ranked players on your team contributed more to the winning team than to your team. They combined for an 0-30 result. What were they doing to provide such putrid results? For the record I agree with you - MM has so many problems and it does not seem like Devs are doing anything to fix it. They are spending their time rushing important new features into the game. I mean, OverDrive couldn't possibly make things even more unbalanced... could it? Look at how current OD has improved the game. Oh... wait... :wacko:

    Well... First the missions were changed drastically in that they favor hard-core players much more than "casual" players. Then Challenges were added - mostly to reward buyers and hard-core players. Now the WAR has been changed so much from original conception of "everyone" can play to... "don't bother unless you're playing A LOT" What's next?

    Sure it's my choice. If a lot of current players "don't play" though - have fun waiting even longer for MM battles.
