  1. So your team was outnumbered and enemies were often in your base right? That specific situation dictates you "camp" in your own base. If you survive long enough to get afternburn going, it is not all that surprising to see many kills if you have the targets. If they don't have HI (many must not have) all you have to do is touch them a bit and they will burn. Many of those deaths for leader on enemy team likely from you as he/she made cap attempts? Like I said before - IB on a small map is deadly.

    I've noticed that too - it gets the AP effect often, so you have very little protection against it.

    Stock? Use a Gauss module and it won't seem nearly as bad. Splash could use a nerf though. 90% damage out to 12m is way too much.

    No it does not - but the Devs don't care. They hope those low-rankers will spend $ to catch up. Right now, with all the drones, and expensive augments (many only found in UCs) the Devs are catering to buyers. The pendulum is no longer balanced in the middle. I'm surprised ANY new players stick around for more than 1 month.

    They are aware. The Devs even commented that this "issue" happens when there are few players online. Rank-spreads widen to make up for fewer players. Having mis-matches like that is acceptable to lower waiting times. As for this - you have it backward. New players are hosed. 1) Permanent exp boost means newbies are playing veterans long before they are ready 2) Supplies - you have to have a fully upgraded drone to have full value for supplies. How many new players have a fully upgraded drone? 3) Modules. You now have to pay for modules - with TKs. Veteran players only have to pay for 4th module. 4) and as already discussed - the rank-spreads are super wide in MatchMaker. Teams might be even, but the lower-ranked players in those battles will struggle to score and earn crystals.
  6. 1) Booster trumps Defender. The length of time does not matter when you can one-shot the player using Defender in 1 second. 2) How often can you get Booster vs how often can you get Viking OD. Plus you side-stepped my rebuttal about "high cost". When a player has 20000+ of the supply, it is NOT a high cost. I've been using Defender for 6 straight months and still have 23000 DA. And I'm a F2P tanker. Using up free supplies we get from daily/weekly missions and containers from Challenges is not really a "cost" at all.

    On Sandbox I have no problem getting 20-30 kills with IB-HI. I never stop firing once I spawn so all those melee turrets are burning before they get in range. It was so effective there it's just silly.

    Don't you have AP-immunity for your Titan now? Or did you miss that Challenge. Makes a HUGE difference. Equipped it right after the Challenge and have never switched it out. Might as well super-glue it to the hull.
  10. If by "high cost" you mean extra supplies, I disagree that is balanced. Players with thousands of supplies will gladly pay the price and keep racking up the kills. Making something cost more does not make it balanced.

    When was AP status effect added? Hornet-OD was king up until then. My fully protected Titan inside a dome was useless with all the hornets running around.

    I have used both and this is only partly true. IB-HI is better on smaller maps. All you have to do is start firing as soon as you spawn and then find targets. Won't take long if the maps are small. With all the status effects today, HI is not that common - players are worried about EMP, Stun and AP just as much as burning. On maps where you need to move more or have lots more cover or longer ranges for combat adrenaline works better.

    I'm unclear what the 26 seconds represents... 1) is it how long it takes the tank described to ... self destruct? 2) is it how long it takes the tank described to... start to overheat (and thus take damage and thus burn others)?

    Yeah... having an MU button is confusing? But having 7 or 8 status effects (in addition to everything else) is not? ?
  16. Hmm... I have both HI & HR on Dictator for my account with IB. IF I ever start playing again I'll need to make sure to equip HR when I want to use IB. I wonder if they will reduce the bullet speed penalty for IB since needing to self-damage is a significant penalty as it is.
  17. Well... both. Did they not just announce you actually need to be overheating for IB to kick in? With HI augment you won't overheat and so IB will not kick in. But if you equip HR (HeatResistance) augment - you are overheating - but taking half self-damage. Does IB kick in? If so - it will be just like equipping the old version of fire module - where you take less self-damage while burning your targets.

  19. Are you differentiating between fire module and fire-immunity/resistance augment? The module has not reduced afterburn for quite some time. The augment replaced that function. Have you tried IB with heat-resistance augment? Can you fire longer without self-damage when equipping the resistance augment?

    They upped the default value of supplies without drones. So they revised the code that boosts supplies bonus with drone equipped - so supplied won't go over 100%.
  21. Dodging again. You are just lazy then. And lazy in your research. Also - I too can look at profiles. You used 10k DA in ~ 300 hrs. You made it sound like you don't use DA - but you do. And you haven't bought a Spider module - let alone use one. So complaining about mines while not even taking measures to mitigate them is hypocritical.

    You mean reverse their update? Good luck! (mind you, they've probably suckered a bunch of players into buying and upgrading drones... got their money's worth and will now look like good citizens by giving us a reprieve)

    "Drones: Now you get a 50% bonus to the effect of boosted supplies instead of 66%." So... this just means your supplies work at 100% effectiveness (ie DD = +100%) as opposed to > 100%?
