    I always hated the Hornet OD before they made the status effect changes. But I feel for you now. They absolutely neutered Hornet with this change. Makes no sense.

    "Quests"? Is this a Fantasy Role-playing game now? I assume that's missions? Seems an odd change. Hard to tell from screen-shots.. are they putting on main screen what modules are equipped? We can see our Hull and Turret -I hate having to go into garage to see my modules before jumping into a battle.

    WIKI says 0.07 seconds. Maybe it's wrong, but it's still less than 1 second. because Hunters have the longer delay and because they can't use their ODs from a distance. Would I be upset if Hunter could not interrupt Ares and Crusader OD? No. If that was the cost to have not have a 50/50 chance of losing my OD to another Hunter that would be fair trade for me.

    First off - the delay for both Ares and Crusader is less than 1 second. Ares delay is a whopping 0.07 seconds. Secondly, Ares and Crusader can use their Overdrives from outside Hunters OD radius. So good luck trying to cancel out Crusaders OD ice-pick. If Ares is within 10-15m of Hunter it is almost impossible for Hunter to stop the ball from hitting it. So Hunter has a sweet-spot from say... 12m-25m where it can either stop the activation or disable the released ball. So yes, it is completely fair that Hunter can counter those two ODs when they are charging.

    No. The Overdrives were activated. They had a chance to do something. Ares OD can last a while. If it could not be countered by Hunter it would be unstoppable. And how often have you seen Crusader get countered by Hunter. it is a LOT faster than the Ares ball. With a 1.1 second delay on Hunter it does not have a good chance.

    Why? Super-tank vs Super-tank. Even. No diff than regular tank vs regular tank. if a JUG can't kill another JUG with a salvo, how the heck do you figure regular tanks can kill it?

    If it's "not that easy" why are 70% of the caps in CTF, Assault and Rugby done by Hopper? One hull out of 10 accounts for majority of caps. Wasp or hornet could use Crisis. But they do not account for even close to the caps that Hopper does. So it's not just the drone.

    Kind of important though... right? The losing Hunter is stunned, and without supplies - probably gonna get destroyed. It loses a big chunk of OD charge for nothing. At least the losing mammoth damaged the enemy - because it's OD activated. If an OD does not activate AT ALL (as in Hunters case) then it should not lose the OD charge.

    Wait until you are higher rank and have more input. If you use it against another primed Hunter 50/50 chance you fail since they are doing the same thing you are doing. If you don't use you are probably gonna die - tanks don't last long in the upper ranks when they are stunned with no suplies.

    So just don't use it? LOL. You have a 50% of it failing when encountering another hunter. That's pretty crappy odds.

    It does not help you get score on THAT shot, but it sure helps your team. And no penalties. The shaft still does same damage and same scoring on all attacking shots. The only downside is reduced impact force - hardly affects a shaft.

    You been playing a lot of MechCommander recently? Cuz this all seems familiar... There is already too much complication in the game as it is with augments, modules, drones, ODs. And you want to complicate it by a factorial? And how would this help "close the buyer-f2p gap"? Won't buyers have access to the same things? Some people mistakenly thought ODs would close the gap. Boy were they wrong. Since ODs are generated by time and score, between buyers and f2p, guess who gets OD faster and more often...

    Well since the delay is 1.1 seconds, if you activate it "a few seconds before" you just wasted the OD, no? The point is, it's a very delicate balancing and one of the two Hunters gets hosed. 50/50 chance. Most ODs don't have that problem because their OD is either instantaneous, or they can activate more than a few seconds in advance.

    Striker salvo is OP? Or do you mean an augment? Cuz there are not many stock strikers in battles these days - and there will be fewer after this.

    Yeah - hornet got totally hosed on this. They expect it to do suicide runs so team-mates can get the better score? At least wasp gets credit when the bomb goes off. And with Dictator - no longer waiting for multiple team-mates to arrive since you get the same score for 1 tank or 5 tanks. Just activate the moment you are near 1 tank and start recharging ASAP.
  23. Are you just pulling our chains or something? In what world is a 10 second EMP shot not OP? Even if the Rail does not kill the target (it probably will) another team-mate definitely will. It's a death-blow in this game where every tank has a power-up. And stunning for 5s? A single rail has a good chance of keeping that tank permanently stunned until it's dead. But it's not surprising to see Mods give full support to pretty much everything implemented by TO. It's like they can do no wrong. Is it part of your deal as a Mod to blindly support everything? Reminds me of the GOP and The Donald.

    Ummm ... not quite ... You had it backwards... "no pain - no gain". But normally the pain is short-term in order to get long-term gains. TO unfortunately made the same mistake you did.
