It is indeed confusing, I will do my best to explain. eSports clans: Clans that play in eSports used to be created in the forum until the release of the eSports site. The current "Clans" section is outdated and is no longer relevant at all. If you are looking for an eSports team, head over to the eSports site. (By the way, leagues no longer exist) Clubs: Clubs are slightly more relevant but the section itself is inactive. Clubs are aimed for players who want to be in a group together but don't want to play eSports. In-game clans: Similar to clubs, but in-game instead of the forum. You are not required to have a forum page in order to own an in-game clan. For more information, check this Wiki page. I hope it helps! Feel free to ask if something is not clear.
