    I'm not saying based on modification, because some upgrade slow and others fast. I'm saying like Legend becoming new Legend 1, Legend 2 and 3 becoming new Legend 2, Legend 4 to 7 becoming new Legend 3, and so on up to new Legend 5. That will help prevent M4s from fighting against M2s in regular battles because of the longer rank brackets. Which they should shorten by the way. The mission update shouldn't be removed, only fixed, because it solves many abuse issues. What Tanki needs to do is prevent drug abuse in regular battles.

    They can't remove the mission update because it solves many abuse issues which affected Tanki and honest missioners. They can fix it though: - By allowing special missions to be completed in PRO. - Coming up with better missions, some easy missions, along other tweaks. - And addressing the drug abuse in Regular Battles. It is also an opportunity for them to lower the price of PRO Passes, so more people can go relax there after their hard missionary work.

    If you wanna do it faster by using Speed Ups. I think the fact that it is twice as expensive will prevent many form become M4 fast and that brings more balance for everybody. The big problem I see is the rank of Legend, it needs to break up into more ranks to prevent many M4s fighting against M3s and M2s because of longer rank brackets.
  5. Drop Gold slower rather than faster, only some campers and maybe mults are benefiting. Or faster but 20 seconds later, so the fake one can drop fast and blow up tanks.

  7. I'm not saying things are good now, I'm saying more needs to be done. The mission update by itself is a problem, but it wouldn't be a problem if they tackle the supply abuse in regular battles with a better supply system, which they were trying to do with the supply experiments. I'm using both the experiments and the mission update for my theory, they needed to do both changes, in my opinion. Without a better supply system people will continue to be dissatisfied with the mission update. Many people rely on the weekly chains, if those break, no urge to play the next day. Hazel said the other day directly that those who don't agree with the supply experiments have the option of PRO Battles. That's what makes me believe he wanted, at least at that time, regular battles to be more suited for casual players, non buyers and non druggers. But druggers want it all for themselves and they were loud against the experiments.

    My Solutions: - Keep the mission change but fix some things. - Some Special Missions should be excluded from the change, at least until people complete them. - Eliminate Finish 1st missions, they are too hard now and encourages more drug abuse. - Eliminate flag missions, points missions and kill mission, they make players not fight for the team. - Eliminate supply pick up mission. - Add more experience missions instead, I listed some before (medium/light/heavy hulls, melee/short/long range turrets, don't remember what else I said before) - Reduce the rank range - Add a feature to undo a Change for free, because sometimes we change a mission and we get one that is worse. With this feature we can go back to a previous mission, but we still lose the free change. - And change the supply system for regular battles, SCD with longer cooldown will be okay, halving the power of supplies will be great. Thank you.
  9. Mission updates should be fixed but not removed. What we need is a new supply system for regular battles to meke battles less brutal.

    Let me be the devs advocate for a minute. (No pun intended.) What would have happened if MU prices for M3 equipment were cut in half as they did with M0, M1 and M2? M4 owners would have been calling it unfair and then asking for refunds. About the Speed Up prices, what I see is that they wanted to keep the same trend as with M0, M1 and M2s, where the Speed Up total is double the cost of MUs. [/devs advocacy] (just remembered they are not paying me) But yes, it makes M4 more expensive if you want MU fast using Speed Ups. And adding to that the fact that now you have to compete with more M4s because of the longer brackets, it looks bad for ranks with low M3. Longer brackets are not good and legend ranks need to be divided like in a previous idea I posted.

    Modules Micro Upgrades pricing should change too, because otherwise it will be confusing for new players that the total of MUs for turrets and hulls cost the same as the next modification but with module MUs costs double. Could be a chance to reorder them too: M0 1-10, M1 11-20, M2 21-30, M3 31-50. I want to upgrade modules without paying twice at the end, unless I want to Speed Up. Another idea: Modules Disintegration - Separate double and triple modules to be used individually. They can still be sold as kits (double, triple) and be sold with kits. - There should be 4 module slots (or just 3 if you want) where we can install any individual modules as we need or want. - You can change your modules (protection) setup every 5 minutes even if you only changed 1 individual module. Could be 4 minutes if you reduce changing equipment time limit from 5 to 4, because 5 is too much in my opinion.

    Problem 54: Some people are desperate to complete their missions and push you so you get killed or flip you when you have the flag. However, those are probably the same that before created 1 flag battles to complete missions.

    Good idea. L1 => Legend 1 (L1) (one star) L2 and 3 => Legend 2 (L2) (two stars) L4-7 => Legend 3 (L3) (like WO3 but with stars) L8-15 => Legend 4 (L4) (I love WO ranks format) L16-31 => Legend 5 (L5) (all ranks should use that format)
  15. They tried with the supply experiments but very few liked tho ones they tried. Some didn't even wanted another experiment. And I think the ones that wanted supplies to stay the same were louder, devs probably assumed the majority was against experiments when in reality some were against the ones they tried. So they jumped to the next stage which is missions change and hoped for the best. Now looking back, I think we should have been in favor of the SCD experiment with longer cooldowns or something similar, although sometimes inconvenient It would have limited supplies usage and abuse, we would have become used to it. With a fundamental change like the one I described players will not be separated, non buyers and casual will prefer regular battles because of the missions and limited supply usage or weaker supplies (if devs still want to do that or try the other), buyers and pros can still join and do missions if they want, they will just have to accept a new supply system. Non buyers that want to play PRO Battles can still do it, but they will not benefit from it in regards to missions. Both types are affected, buyers more. However we can argue that buyers already have too many advantages from the game, advantages that play against the game balance itself. And yes, without changes to supplies for regular battles, it doesn't look good.
  16. I don't know the economic standing of Tanki, so I don't know exactly about the canceling of discounts. I can speculate that discounts on top of kit discounts were making Tanki lose money, or make less money, because at some sales some kits become really cheap for some people, some were also complaining, including me (a little), when they bought kits few days before a sales event thus missing an extra cut in price, and it probably made calculating sales a little difficult because they had to think of kits that were getting too cheap. With this change we could see more one day sales with everything discounted because Tanki doesn't have to worry of very cheap Kits. The bulk discounts is surely economic reasons as well, but I think it is okay, for non buyers at least, because I think many saw the discount and continued buying equipment of the same modification, when they should have been saving for equipment of the next modification. For the same reason we non buyers shouldn't feel affected by the removal of bulk discounts. For buyers that want to have a full garage, yes, it will be more expensive to do that. But there is also the changes to MUs, which make MUing for non buyers cheaper if you take your time. Now if a non buyers manages his money right they can MU all the way to M3 without buying next modifications of the same equipment. For buyers that want to be OP the cost will be the same as before but if they are patient with the waits they'll be OP cheaper too without having to make too many clicks. But all may benefit because more people will be advancing to the higher ranks. It's much simple now and we should appreciate that. I agree with the rest of what you said.
  17. I understand that. I'm not saying that things should stay as they are now, they should fix the changes themselves taking into consideration missions like the one you're talking about. Maybe allow some missions to be doable in PRO Battles too.

    1-5 become 1 6-10 become 2 ... 46-50 become 10 Think of it as getting one step for free. Going from step 4 to step 1 is not getting one step free by any strech of the imagination. In M0 and M1 all the levels were rounded UP:. Now with my more expensive M2 I get rounded DOWN. That is just worng. M0 and M! was: 0=0 1=1 2-10=2 11-15=3 16=20=4 etc I feel pretty cheated since a guy that only bought one M2 upgrade has the exact same level as I do when I bought four upgrades. M2s now have 10 MU steps, M3s are the ones that have 20. With M0s and M1s was the same as with M2s. 50=10, 25=5, 5=1. You were rounded UP from 4 to 5 which is now 1. People that had 5 now have 1 as well. Not a perfect solution but it was appropriate, because it was better for 1 to become 1, rather than 1 becoming 0. Check the Wiki, it is now updated for Isida's MUs.

What I don't understand is why buyers need to do missions, with their better equipment, drugs and Premium they can do pretty good in PRO Battles and don't have to worry about picking up certain amount of Speed Boosts. They can play games within battles, do parkour, do 100 flag battles, 3 flag battles, hours of Polygon CP, whatever they want. Light buyers I understand. Am I missing something?

    My theory about recent changes and why we need to accept them

    First I want to say that like many of you I don't like some of the recent changes and experiments. But I also have to say that there have also been good changes that I personally like and I think will benefit from. By trying to look at the bigger picture, not that I'm good at it, I think I understand what the devs are trying to do. I think the recent changes like Rank Bracket and Missions are connected with the Supply experiments they did a few weeks ago. I think devs are trying to make Regular Battles the place for non buyers and casual gamers, that is why they are making missions only doable in those battles and that's why they where experimenting with a new more restrictive supply system for Regular Battles. That also means they want PRO Battles to be the place for buyers and enthusiasts.That is a fundamental change, one which could solve many issues: non buyers complaining about drug abuse; abuse of the mission system; PRO Battles with fewer players; Regular Battles being tough and mean for potential new players; to name a few. If we could all accept this fundamental change without thinking only on our personal benefit, we could benefit from a better game that can accommodate different type of players better. Of course things went bad because they didn't come up with a good supply system, or maybe they did and we didn't understand because of the situations at that moment. And now the mission change doesn't make sense. However I would like for Tanki to keep with that idea, if that is the case. Of course, in an appropriate way, taking into consideration all or most of the players. I hope you agree with me. (I know many are upset, sorry if I'm being out of touch) Thank You.

    There are good reasons, many abused the system for their gain. 1 flag battles was just a tip of the iceberg. Not fair for those that played right or did their missions in regular battles. But their solution to the problem is flawed. I think they'll fix it somehow.

    Another possible solution, hopefully before the game collapses: Create a filter for supplies with half the power. So there will be two supply settings one with 50% power boost and one with 100%. Druggers will avoid those battles or measure their supply usage because it will not be worth it for them, and casual and non buyers will be happy there are no or fewer drug wars in those battles. Win, win.
