Why not?

That was changed on the 25th of September.

Will do Light Capacitors since that's the only one I have.

I yearn for a day where many players group to fighter and play with Wasp + Vulcan. You spawn and see 6 teammates with Wasp Vulcan, 4 Wasp Vulcans on the enemy team. I'd say pairing Vulcan with anything lighter than a medium hull will be seen as a bad idea, just because the way it works works best with a medium, especially a heavy, hull. Vulcan is already rare as it is, it would be even more rare to see it planted on a hull that players think it would be inefficient with. Strafing and circling the enemy is the most dangerous but profitable part. Ya gotta spin-to-win.

I see... I guess I'll keep enjoying it until the law of diminishing returns takes effect.

Here is the proof of 2 of the 3 Magnum changes being legitimate: Average and maximum splash damage increase. Edit: Average, not minimum.

Guide The Gaussian Distribution: A Guide to Tanki's Newest Turret
TheCongoSpider replied to LOLKILLERTOTHEDEATH in Newspaper Archive
Excellent guide! Another weakness for the turret appears as a result of one of its stengths - being stealthy when locking on. With Striker, you have a laser to guide you. You can focus on where the laser is point and track the tanks from there. With Gauss, there is no laser and the only guide you have is the acquisition reticle. With a great advantage, comes a great drawback. I for one, am quite fond of the pairing of Gauss with Dictator and Wasp. Another disadvantage of pairing Gauss with Dictator and Viking that you did not mention was Gauss' auto-aim angles. It boasts the lowest angle for upwards auto-aiming at 7°. Pairing this with Viking would make it undesirable to acquire targets above you while making it more pleasurable for acquiring targets below you. For Dictator, the height of it lends some assistance to the upwards auto-aim and allows it to lock onto enemies easier than a Viking. While the downward auto-aim is the same for Railgun at 10°, Railgun with Dictator can rock its hull to lower the angle to catch an enemy. Gauss usually requires you to be completely stationary when locking onto targets at long distance distances. With the height elevated, Gauss may find it troubling to acquire targets below them. The sliding aspect of Hornet and Viking makes it harder to acquire targets when they are shooting me. That is why I prefer hulls that do not slide like Dictator and Wasp. I have better traction, which in turn, allows me to steady my aim faster. -
Used to be one of those. Hunter gives me more maneuverability now, so I don't really use Titan with it unless I'm on the blue team in ASL. I find it to be a bit oversaturated with healing since you basically wasted a lot of the Overdrive time by directly healing them quickly with your Isida faster than the dome. I only use it if a Viking popped their Overdrive nearby or if multiple splash damage turrets are shooting my clumped up allies when my ammo runs out.

Magnum's minimum splash damage radius is supposed to be 21 metres. Maximum splash damage range: 2 metres. Average splash damage range: 6 metres. M3 Freeze's range has a "/" and not a .", just a minor error. Hornet's Overdrive's duration is 20 seconds and not 30 seconds. Not true:

Just imagine the gameplay with an Incendiary Band Vulcan + Wasp with a max-levelled Defender Drone. Zipping through the enemy base and heating them up while distracting them from the objective. We have new opportunities with these balance changes. If only the forbidden combination becomes less forbidden.

It's not the first time II_ImPaRaToR_II fell victim to my wrath.

Yeah, in the M1/2 ranks though. Coming up to M3 and 4, it can't one-shot them. In the lower tiers, an M0 Smoky can one-shot an M0 heavy hull with that. If your Smoky is M1 10/10 at a very low rank, then with a drone, you can increase that number slowly and be able to one-shot medium hulls efficiently.

Doesn't really change its playstyle and and the damage increase and decrease aren't considerable enough to actually be an alteration. I believe there is a reason some turrets don't have a Stabilisation-type alteration like Railgun does, and also a reason for why mechanic changes for some alterations for some turrets would be imbalanced for others. A more destabilised version for Thunder would be: Maximum damage: +50% Minimum dmaage: -50% The average damage for M4 Thunder with that alteration would be 950 damage.
-
I thought that it was nerfed enough with with 75% damage decrease when overheating. After the nerf, I saw less but I'm starting to see them more once again. It doesn't top the scoreboard like a lot of other altered turrets do, it's just a very big nuisance and/or inconvenience. If you're seething at the Incendiary Vulcan in the back shooting into your base, just know that they're not going to be getting top spots like they used to before the nerf. Well I'm not always behind cover. I have to traverse to the enemy base and I'm out in the open. I always wind up and cancel constantly so that I'm at least one second ahead in charging up when an enemy and I spot each other when I'm out in the open. And from far, you can't even notice if the Vulcan is spinning up. If it looks at you while driving, then you can assume it is.

These days, I hate being randomly one-shotted by an LCR Railgun when I have 39% protection on. I also hate that my medium hull can be randomly one-shotted by a Supercumulative Smoky's critical hit.

One Twins wasn't so bad, but i can't imagine 3 Twins shooting at me. Does Twins' projectiles make a sound when hitting an enemy like Ricochet's projectiles do?
-
From the Let's Discuss Overdrives thread: I'm not sure what the melee turrets get but Striker is right, the others seem to get an additional 50% damage with double damage which corresponds to a 3x damage boost.
-
She looks like a witch in this picture. And with that, I expect the rewards in the Challenges to decrease slowly but gradually some months after Tankoins are released.
-
Only melee turrets receive a 3x damage boost. The others receive a 2x damage boost.
-
Of course. The Lifeguard Drone activates when the last tick of 999 damage happens. They a promptly killed right after by another tick of 999 damage.
-
I was talking about Say, not you. Sorry for the confusion.

Sensational A Truly New way To play Vulcan
-
You can't kill Wasps with that? What's happening? Are they driving perpendicular to you while heading to cover? You should be able to kill the Wasp in one of 6 seconds, 3 seconds, or 1.5 seconds of direct fire. Whenever a Wasp drops a bomb for only you, just think about how worse it could have been if it sneaked up on your grouped teammates.

H_A_T_T_6 was using M3 Twins + Dictator and pooped on everyone on my team in two battles. He was using Stable Plasma, so I'm wondering how well he would have done if he were using Stock Twins.

Question: Does using Large Calibre Rounds for Railgun require skill? Tried to tell that guy that all Railguns require skill to aim the shots and nothing else. He assumes that less shots equal you needing more skill with aiming. They all require the same effort to actually hit the target. The only thing that is different is how punished you are for missing that shot. Is Say wrong, or am I wrong?
