    Mission Chains Update [April 27th]

If a WO1 does 4 Week 10s in a month before ranking up and another does 4 Week 10s in 6 months before ranking up, aren't both in the same economic and ranking position? where is the advantage? except for doing it faster.

    Mission Chains Update [April 27th]

But eventually everyone will be getting the same rewards for the same amount of completed daily missions. The advantage that daily players had to stay competitive with buyers and have a good advantage over non daily players is being removed, because now even casual buyers will be getting the same rewards. It's based on how players (the masses (that's how the world works)) perceive the update, the reality is that Tanki doesn't want to give an advantage to daily players anymore. Whether if that's good or bad for economic balance, I don't know,: and for increasing or decreasing the player base, I'm not sure either. If you're a daily player feel free to take a break, it was addictive to do Daily Missions and do good in battles, I have two very good accounts because of it with which I can play casually now. You can enjoy your hard work casually. My other issue with this update is that eventually all will have the chance to have a good amount of supplies, and that's when virtually everyone will be drugging non stop, and that will be a horrible gameplay, at least for me.

    Mission Chains Update [April 27th]

That's not an advantage, that's just doing it faster. But there's actually a disadvantage for daily players, they only get one free Mission Change, while others can change Missions more than once in more days and only play when they have the Missions they want, some will even want to only play pick up supply missions and mult.

    Mission Chains Update [April 27th]

No You'll only get half the rewards with 2 containers, but you'll start Week 5 after tomorrow. There could have been better solutions for your problem. He/she said additional not faster.

    Mission Chains Update [April 27th]

I agree with you, and we're not alone. I think Tanki missed a good opportunity for a better change to the chain system. Even this idea I think is better... Now they are stuck with chain progress that should never reset. I want to see if they keep that promise forever, if not we can sue them in the International Entertainment Justice Courts.

    Mission Chains Update [April 27th]

It will be a good experiment for me as I'm planning to take a break or at least play less. I still think the chain update is bad for the game and it has exploitable weaknesses. I'm not sure about the battle time change. Fighting for the Top 3 will be harder if you join after battle has started, and completing other missions could take two battles instead of one, but if you don't have time and don't complete them that day you can do so the next day or the next year. See, I'm the first to say year instead of month. On the other hand, since most battles are one sided, why not end it early to stop the abuse. And don't feel bad about leaving battles early on. If the battle is one sided and you leave, others may leave too and the battle ends. If you stay and fight hard, others may stay, but only to lose at the end and to only get the ridiculous reward. That way you could be doing more harm than good to your team mates. Remember that mostly noobs join the losing team.

    Ideas for Turrets!

M0 alterations as talked about are a bad idea, it would be confusing to see a M0 Isida shoot a Purple beam. Instead these types of alterations should be available for M3s or M4s. Furthermore I believe non cosmetic alterations should be free or cost very cheap, since they are supposed to be as balanced as stock equipment. It's the cosmetic alterations that should be expensive, and to not bankrupt accounts or create confusion be available only for M3s or M4s.

I understand that change was needed and that it needed to be better for casual mobile players, I just don't think it is the right solution, and it has exploitable weaknesses.

If they make it so that if you don't play in 7 days your chain goes back one step, it could encourage players to at least play one day a week, like in weekends. But pick up supply missions needs to go. I was kidding, but why does it sound credible? could be because that's how it feels? Lol According to the VLOG, when you reach level 10 you stay there forever, and you don't even lose a step.

When you like an update and want it implemented you don't say that you like it, that you're eagerly waiting for it, nor that you'll take a break... devs will think it's a bad update and might not implement it; instead you say that it's a bad update, that mamy will leave the game and the rest will mult... that way devs will think it's a good update and surely implement it... Imjk.

    [Community HQ] now OPEN

I've a suggestion, I think there should be an option to buy items or credits in the form of Promo Codes, so they can give these to their friends, to create player run contests, or do donations like Generalissima used to do. Credits could have a certain value equivalent to real money.

I don't know why you as a high rank player feel treatenned by the opinion of a WO1 with M1 equipment.

Nives can't do more than take feedbacks back to developers. He can't start a discussion about the update or enter in one because devs didn't planned or wanted to have a discussion. But Nives said that we'll soon know what the new system looks like... Well that's intriguing, since devs already told us what the system will look like. Is something changing? Personally I'd like to take a break few days after when I complete my chains and reach Week 5. Then I hope they don't change the system when I'm on a break and find that I'm on Week 1 when I comeback. Starting over from Week 1 to Week 10... Boring.

    Sub Hourly Missions

I think there should be an option to double or triple the difficulty for an creased number of rewards, like what happened when they tripled the rewards.

Automatic Mission Chain Rewards System Idea This idea is like a mix between the current system, my previous idea and the planned update. There are 5 levels which could be called Weeks or Chains. I prefer Chains New players that want to do mission chains will start with Chain 1 and when they complete this Chain they unlock the next Chain. The same should be done to unlock the rest of the Chains. Once you unlock a new Chain or all Chains these remain unlocked forever. Chain 1 gives you half the rewards (2 containers) than Chain 5 (4 containers). Everyone wins. The progress bars change depending on the frequency you complete the missions. When you don't complete a step within a Chain's time requirement for steps, you go back one step in that chain. Once you complete the required steps for a Chain you can Claim that Chain's bonus. Once you claim a Chain bonus all the Chains reset to step 0. This is how it could look like when incorporated to the missions window... PS: This is my personal idea for mission chains.

Thanks for speaking up and telling it like it is. Many only think for their own benefit and don't see or care about the big picture, then when they encounter issues, like imbalances, are crying like babies. If they still want to implement this update they should at least remove pick up supply missions. Instead there could be easy missions like: - Destroy 10 tanks in TDM, or in any other mode that's not DM. Removing pick up supply missions will also remove the need for Tanki to hide mission progress in MM.
  19. There could be containers that shows you, let's say, 3 items where you can pick only one, the other two would disappear. Then they can include items like Rename Pass.

Episode 169 of the V-LOG is live!

I know I talked a lot. Now I only want to post an idea that I think is better than the planned update. Alternative Mission Chains Idea Instead of Weeks there could be Chains Each Chain could have 10 steps/days There could be 5 Chains in total, making it 50 steps/days Players that complete Chain 1 get half the rewards (2 containers) as players that complete Chain 5 (4 containers) (everyone wins) In Chain 1, when you don't play in 10 days you'll lose 1 step/day. Good for Casual players. In Chain 2, when you don't play in 8 days you'll lose 1 step/day; In Chain 3 every 6 days; Chain 4 every 4; Chain 5 every 2 days. And these would give players the incentive to play every day, or at least every other day. But if they lose many steps/days, they don't lose a lot. Then something like a good number of days of not playing to lose a whole Chain. And to prevent abuse either remove pick up supply missions or add the idea I posted before where if you change a mission and don't claim a mission that day you lose 1 step/day from your Chain.

I'm not saying they are afraid of me, sometimes I don't even attack these mults when they are on the other team. Why do you think they are hiding, not attacking you and when they see you they move away? I say either they are multing for your team or they are doing pick up supply missions. I said sometimes everyone needs to defend. But yes, it's their choice to not defend and not help if they don't want to, and I understand that there are a lot of noobs and little kids too. Try the test server, with 8 minutes battles, is not that bad I think. I agree with many other things you said. Players quit when they see that the other team is doing well and your team doesn't. Why would they stay with the noobs and maybe mults to be spawn killed later? Why stay when the better players have already left? Then mostly noobs join the losing team and make things worse. There are no incentives to join the losing team, unless you do it with friends and maybe planting mults too. Then add Overdrives to that recipe for one sided battles. Battles like 10 vs 6 players, 9 vs 5 and 7 vs 4, should end sooner, and maybe those that stayed should get the rewards of those that left.

I think they are more common than you think, I see them on battles hiding and when I get close to them, like checking their nicknames, they start moving. Or when clearly defending is needed, these players are not there. But it's hard to know for sure who is a noob or a mult. I think the gold mults will also be doing pick up supply missions now, I mean, why not? 4 containers and supplies for 7 daily missions at their own multing pace.

Episode 169 of the V-LOG is live!

Thanks for being honest. :) Maybe you do it out of necessity, but others do it to have an OP Garage for their rank, and the problem is that they don't care joining losing teams and causing even more pain for that team. With this update cheaters will even make their mult accounts OP and on level with their main accounts, just level 2 or more accounts, play with one and mult with the other, then play with the other and mult with one... and with this idea you'll be ready for Matchmaking. ;) I don't know why I think like a cheater? Maybe it's just my good/bad imagination.

Episode 169 of the V-LOG is live!

Let me clarify: I talking of the likely mults that will be doing only Pick-Up Supply Missions while multing in battles and not playing when they get mission that require fighting in battles, instead only changing missions in those days. So this would be a feature to prevent abuse and would not affect honest players. Mission Chain Reverse Anti Cheating Feature This feature would only activate anytime you change a mission. If you login and not make a mission change it would not affect you. This feature would prevent abuse of the system by using the change mission option and not claiming missions. Once activated: If you claim at least 1 mission that day you advance normally 1 step of the chain. If you don't claim a mission in that day your chain will be reversed by 1 step. PS: This is an idea for the update if developers still want to implement it as it is. I think there are better options for this update.

Episode 169 of the V-LOG is live!

This is to prevent those mults that will be changing missions looking for easy pick up supply missions or easy missions with only crystal rewards and only playing then. But nonest players would not be affected, they'll not activate this feature because they'll not login just to change a mission. EDITED.
