Morning all! Unfortunately, I have projects and exams until the 10th of June. Following that, I’ll be free from high school. But it doesn’t end there. Actually, a couple days prior to that, I’ll be starting summer classes and prestudy for my undergraduate curriculum, and that won’t let up until 8 weeks after, which will be precisely the end of July - erm, actually, one day before that. Given that school will be starting up in mid-August, it doesn’t leave much semi-free time for me to devote my attention to the Newspaper, let alone Competitor. I do hold a pretty large role in setting up the project and not being around to keep it fresh and up-to-date has definitely hurt this contest season as well as the Newspaper Challenges Contest. It wasn't quite what I hoped for. (However, on the positive side, it did influence my undergraduate and graduate study plans, so I'm eternally grateful for that) For this reason, we won’t be able to update the challenges board twice a week (it'll be scheduled to update every Monday) for the time being nor start up the next season immediately after the end of the first one in a couple weeks’ time. The next season of Competitor is slated to start in July, a month after this season concludes. Thanks for your understanding! Well, of course, if you would like to change things around and also happen to have a bit of an affinity for writing for one of your favorite games, then I would recommend that you apply for Newspaper Reporter. We’re fighting a high workload in real life and could surely use a couple new faces in the team. Why not try your hand by applying here? Just heard about the announcement. I got bored and did some semi-mental math: Let's say you are an average player. You are now set on earning that juicy fourth module slot because yes. Here are your guaranteed* sources of Tankoin income: - Weekly containers - A total of 6 weeklies, and you earn 3 per container. - Bi-weekly challenges - 100 per two weeks (and some change as there is some downtime between challenges, but let's just say two weeks) *So long as you play. I don't have the time to do that, but let's say you, average Joe, do. This leads to a total of 136 tankoins per two weeks. Dividing 5000 by 136 gives a value of 36.765, or 37 weeks to save up for your module slot. Edit: Shoot, I made a mistake. That would be the number of TWO-week intervals that you would have to spend saving for a 4th protection module slot. The true number of weeks would go up to 74 weeks. Bottom Line: You'll need over a year of playing hard and doing your missions in order to obtain your fourth protection slot.** **This does not include any costs you may want to spend, such as battle passes, augments, special offers, random coinbox and container splurges, and the like. Hello! Unfortunately, I don't think I can pay them out nor run them again anytime soon as it might be too easy for the helper position one and the Marcus one has no definite answer. The helper position question might return in a handful of weeks when it's not very recent, but it won't be back anytime soon. As for the second question, I do recall counting 24 at one time, but I was notified that I missed a couple of positions. If I'm not mistaken, one of the SM positions is hidden at the moment, which might lead to a tally of 24. Thanks for the note - will just mean max paints in future.

I have to agree - they're all crammed in Ultra Containers, which makes it quite difficult to obtain. And when you obtain a new augment, it might not be the one you want. Quite unfortunate indeed. ? Personally, I would go for improving your current equipment to Mk7 and beyond unless the augment of interest will provide noticeable benefits you really want/need. For example, say, fi you are intent on buying Smoky Autocannon as a Smoky main, sure. But if the augment and turret don't match up or just won't translate into a huge benefit, it's probably better to stick to basics and bring up your equipment. LOL ? Well, here I am. I haven't got the motivation to rank up or play as of recent - I've got more exams and some other workflow things to manage recently ?

Pain. Those were some really nice times... I remember just dumping my crystals every which way to get a good load of augments the day before they were hauled off to the containers for solitary confinement. Ended up saving way too many crystals. Ahhh, really miss the times...

Proofreader here. Let's first get this out of the way: I am better than Grammarly as I have to correct its puny and worthless 'grammar error alerts' to make it sound correct. ? On that topic though, the text is pretty much what we are given, and sometimes the information is truly not very easy to explain or decipher. I recall one time there was this Crusader tip to catch Gold Boxes, but the text said to use the Overdrive with a friend to catch golds. When asked to change it, it was supposed to be left as is, even though it seemed quite confusing. This may not be as extreme of a case, but the text can definitely have confusing and incomprehensible parts leaving most everyone confused. Whenever I work on the V-LOG, I'll make sure to get the best clarification possible so that viewers aren't left scratching their heads. Thanks for your input ?
