Personally I'd much rather prefer they just fix the module system instead of just adding OP alterations to hide the problem.

I play Railgun and from what I've seen so far it's one of the strongest turrets in Tanki. The reason it may seem underpowered is because of broken protection modules

Literally all they need to do to fix Railgun is to not make protection modules the stupidly broken system they are. It would also fix a lot more turrets too.

This is actually because when they're doing the weekly swap of product kits, there's always a one-day gap between the removal of the old kits and the replacement with the new ones. During this time there's no kits available except for the one supplies kit, which never swaps out.

Nah. The area of spread is reduced to one-fourth of normal. I'm assuming this means about 2x better max damage range (not 4x because there is a cap to how far the shots can travel). To compensate for this, rotation speed should be cut in half.

I agree that 70% is probably too much. Something between 50-60% is probably better. Technically, Hammer is ALREADY getting better impact force from this, because the greatly narrowed spread angle means it's much harder for pellets to miss, and thus Hammer's range of maximum impact (and damage) significantly increases as well.

Ouch. Is the crit still infinite range? Or does it get damage dropoff? that alt is probably gonna be so useful at high ranks since the damage isn't that spectacular anyways and the crit chance is high

Arcade shots literally have the DPS of Smoky and Thunder. You want to be able to snipe with THAT?!

Nerf the arcade shot already. It makes zero sense that a weapon with such a powerful sniping mode can also get arcade shots rivaling the DPS of Smoky and Thunder.

I feel like the Lifeguard drone is just really biased against weapons with long reloads. Railgun and Magnum already have to deal with 50% protections at m3 ranks and now they get this as well? Same deal with the Blaster drone too

Finally I'm just really not a fan of alterations that add burning/freezing because I think these two should be unique to Firebird and Freeze.

These two also sound very OP. Two Hammer shots can kill a light hull, and 5 Smoky shots a medium hull. And the knockback... also the recoil :P

I'm honestly kind of scared. These potential alts sound ridiculously OP. Particularly the ricochet one.

Thunder and Rail can do it with DD. But Shaft can do it without.

Well of course leading should be required, I agree with that. But it seems that you think this idea is to reduce the need for leading? It isn't. I'm trying to address the issue that when you lead a moving target, the vertical auto-aim doesn't work. I don't think that's a good thing; it feels really BS and I don't think it should be there. Think of it as just a better vertical auto-aim system. -
I always hated the way Shaft could just one-shot a light hull and 5 seconds later it's back in business. Personally I'm pretty glad that's gone now.
