I believe @TheCongoSpider made a topic like this on the Tanki Birthday but I couldn't find it so I'll say it again (just so people talking about the subject have one place to say it). What did you buy on the 50% sales, how are you liking it, how are you doing with it, and what would you change if you could? Before the sales, I had 260K crystals (roughly). I bought two M2 protection modules (Falcon and Wolf) to go along with my existing two (Grizzly and Eagle). I also bought a kit, Pirate (Gauss/Mammoth), for 2.6K TKs, which gave me a fifth M2 module: Owl. I upgraded the three new modules to 28% protection, and upgraded Gauss to 6/10, going on 7/10. By the end of all that I had 23K crystals left, with which I upgraded Grizzly to 29% protection. I've played 4 battles with Gauss so far. The ones with Titan: I then played with Hunter/Gauss in Polygon CP and did well (no screenshot). Overall, I'm very happy with my purchases. Now, share how/what you've been doing ?

For instance, this account used to be called HBTY. If I wrote member=HBTY with the [] stuff, it wouldn't come out as anything, because the "HBTY" account no longer exists. If that's what you're going for, forgetting your password doesn't help. But don't ask me - I'm not the one that wants my account deleted. Wait a second is it @Initiate now? Ahh. Anyways, if I write @HBTY nothing comes up because the account does not exist.

There are occasionally reasons I HAVE to come on the forum (such as now) because of my *unofficial candidate* helper role, but other than that I already had semi-quit, so... don't see what you're saying. Anyways stop stalking me.

Um... yeah, as I said this is super ugly. The forum always used to be a friendly place that I didn't come one MUCH anymore but when I did I had a bunch of stuff to do. This could very well make me quit the forum for good (and kind of already has). Why on earth were the looks changed? This is stunningly gross.

It's only popular when Tide, Congo, and I are around :D Basically, of course the main issue with Shaft is that you have to STOP for however many seconds to get a kill. With LCs, you barely need to do that - you see a target, you scope, you shoot, all in 1.5 seconds (which is waay over what you need to kill a light hull - more like less than one second). Of course, this feeling is accentuated with my M3 Shaft at this rank ( :ph34r:) because I don't need to scope as long for kills, but that's the general feeling - you get shots off quicker, so it's all faster-paced (and you don't expose yourself as much while charging up).

In all seriosity (the above post was before I even read it), nice work. Some notes: First of all, who wrote the in-game alert!?!?!? I'm done raging about grammar. The guide was well-written, informative, yada yada. Two main notes from my own experience: The Pirahna review is very biased :D I fall guilty of this too whenever Shaft/Hornet is mentioned, so I can't say too much about it. However, from my own experience, playing Pirahna F2P is... difficult, to say the least. M1 Hornet is IMO pretty weak, especially when you're at a rank where there's literally hundreds of massive-drugger accounts (with Railgun, no less) that are made to finish a challenge. These accounts usually peter out and die, for a couple reasons: no drugs (they used them all for the challenge), and no crystals. The accounts aren't made for the long-run, but their owners are absolutely genius when it comes to playing like a noob drugger. But that's where the problem lies. Drugs should be saved for the mid-ranks when you really just do need them to play well, particularly with a light hull. And if you're pkaying with Pirahna, it's drug-or-be-one-shotted-endlessly. The DAs run mighty thin when you use Pirahna as a F2Player. Second, Harvester wasn't played up nearly enough. Here's what I find. Vuilcan is easy to use; it has insane DPS; it's an awesome turret at low ranks. I happen to have a F2P account with Harvester M2-edition at WO1 right now (note: F2P, don't call me a buyer noob). I also have 1.5K of all drugs, and that's because I didn't use them. Now here's how it goes: Vulcan is amazing with Dictator or Titan. Dictator is an early M2, as is Vulcan. Titan is a late M2. Get where I'm going here? The relative weakness of Vulcan M2 at WO ranks is allayed by the strength of Titan. Get to Second Lieutenant, get the Vulcan M2, and also pick up a Dictator M2 along the way. Now you should easily have enough crystals to take Vulcan/Dictator to M3 in the next couple ranks, but Titan is still relevant if you need it. Get where I'm going here? In my opinion, if you want the best long-run kit, get an M1 kit with a good later-M2 (preferably hull) and a bad later-M2 (preferably turret). If you don't want a kit with that combo, get a kit with two good M1s/bad M2s - that's the best way to go forward in the long-run. Bad M2 = early unlock rank = quicker to get M3. That's my little piece, well-written though (except for that news-feed alert. WHO WROTE THAT!?!?!?) and good job. Drop a like on my post above (not this one) because I'm extremely proud of that semi-meme :D

I haven't played with it aside from the Test Server, but to add on to what @FrozenRailgun said: 1. According to people who use it, it can easily be OP but gets boring very quickly 2. Doesn't need any skill really 3. Isn't really Shaft - you're not sniping 4. (this is from me playing with it in Test Server, vastly different than main servers ofc) It's almost like a melee turret - you have to get up close to fight people because of the quick decrease in damage for arcade shots 5. Again, not really a Shaft. I stress this point, because you may as well just use Duplet instead of RFM (Rapid-fire) For instance, if you want to get into this club (http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=383047), you have to use LCs. Just sayin'. LCs is waaay more fun to use (by popular agreement). Just go for Light Capacitors, you'll do well with a bit of skill. RFM is boring (and nub).

Do you want them no to be seen or out of the game? Supplies and ODs aren't leaving anytime soon :D Anyways, as of yet there is no way to remove them from the display (though why wouldn't you want to see your OD charge?). I find the radar useful, but that's just my opinion. Anyways, nope, there is no way to change the interface in battle.

No - it'll take roughly 2 seconds before we snipe you. But generally, yes, you'll be stuck full of LC shots like a Shaft-cushion. And I won't even mention that someone in this clan uses Hornet/RFM - I won't mention it.
