Perhaps this could only apply to advantages in combat, such as crystals or upgraded guns being bought. That's a very valid point - thanks for replying so soon! I won't even mention that everyone wants MM to go out the window... I agree it probably won't happen - here's an idea: since the devs SEEM so determined to make everyone unhappy, how about we try to take out PRO-battles and plead with them to promise never to take out MM - perhaps they'll do what we really want, and take out MM...? :)

Hey there, here's my poll: should the devs make a new server where it is available to buy stuff with money? For example, let's say I start an account called HBTY2 (genius, right?) and I play on it, then I see something in the shop that I want to buy. The fee for buying something your first time is $2 USD, and after you pay that fee your account is transferred to the buyers server, which means that you can never come back to main server and play against non-buyers (non-buyers can still go to buyer server to play PRO-battles if they are friends with a buyer). This way everyone wins: Tanki gets an extra two dollars per buyer (which is almost everyone - this could really add up), the non-buyers play in fair battles, and everyone is happy :) Vote yes, and stand up for the people who want to play a free game that's fun! Let's change the game together! *Edit: Buying as in buying items that affect the outcome of the battle, NOT skins or paints.

Oh yeah, sounds right. I wasn't thinking of Silence as a smaller map, but it is compared to some. I would like to update the meanest thing I have done. I was playing Monte Carlo, and there was this noob Striker/Hornet on the other team. At first I let him lock on to me and then go behind cover so his missiles would go into the wall I was behind, but then I tried to make it so I would get a wall between me and him, only this time the wall was on his side... he self-destructed so many times before he left, it was hilarious :rolleyes: :P

Great idea Fenris, I'll take my shots like a fully charged shaft with heavy capacitators, my reload the same as twins, and the bouncing effect of rico - I'd be happy to lose twins, rico, and shaft for that OP thing. Or perhaps I'd make a turret with railgun shots, the reload time of twins again, and the burning effect of firebird - remember twins has no firing delay. Can you imagine playing with that? All this to say - with all due respect - that that is a terrible idea.

The meanest thing I've done (this was awhile ago) I'd flip our team's flag carriers, and the cap it myself. Usually I'd do it as they were coming up a ramp to our base so I basically had no risk of getting killed. This is especially effective in Noise on the red team :)

I will start this off. I'm WO4 at this time, and I was playing with Third Lieutenants and a Master Corporal.... What have you seen?

How about battles are divided based on efficiency score/garage equipment? That way pros with alt accounts can't enter battles with noobs (who have low efficiency scores).

The thing is (sorry for a third post :rolleyes:) , people keep talking about the Keeper Kit. I bought that whenever it was available (this is my first account), and it was almost my whole amount of crystals (I had about 2K left after). I didn't have enough to MU it, and didn't really know what MU'ing was, so I tried playing with the kit, didn't like going so slow, and stopped using it (except for the paint :). That was the end of both smoky and titan, except the occasional PRO-Battle. I went to fire/wasp, and used that until I was about WO1. Then I realized two things; first, people gain skill in using long-range guns, which means that fire is not effective on big maps. I then found MrThunder, and started using thunder - at WO1. As far as I can remember, I had only used fire except for 2-3 battles. I then met someone in an XP/BP clan at WO2, and started rail (the clan admitted you if you were skilled enough). That's been my journey through Tanki, and through it all, I rarely drugged except in parkour, where I used tons of repairs and DA. I then started an alt account, HBTY2 (ingenious, I know :), and I got immediately 100 of all supplies from a container, 125 repairs, and 125 speed boosts, and suddenly I realized that I could crush really anyone. So now my alt is at Master Corporal, and I have lessened the drugging. Then I went back to this account, and got... 100K crystals. I never used them because I went on the Product Kits wiki page and found tornado kit, which is Hornet/Rail (my main playing style now). Then I got 10K and 25K,and I now have 179K crystals, as well as M1 Thunder, Rail, Fire, Smoky, Hammer, Rico, Wasp, Hornet, Titan, Mammoth, and Viking. Somehow, I've managed to make my ends meet, so to speak. So that's what I've done in Tanki. My point? It's the silly probably not well educated kids who run out of crystals. They need to not feel so entitled - they gotta grind, work, save, just like in real life - except, here, it's fine to make a mistake. The ones who think they can just come on and buy are the ones missing the real fun of playing - the joy of working and succeeding, like I did with rail. Now I'm proud of my accomplishments - learning to be a formidable rail in battles, working for containers that have legendary paints (Peaks and Lotus), and saving for crystals to get an M2 Hornet/Rail at WO5. You know what? I bet I'm gonna have more fun with my hard-earned Tornado kit than they could ever have with the fruit of their... allowances - wasted on a video game. *Update: I got into the clan, if you were wondering :)

No, I think you may be confused as to how many people buy stuff. This is my first account, so I haven't had much experience, but I know I'll never buy anything.

Or better yet, put tankers in battles together based on their efficiency score. Yes, people could try to get low efficiency scores just to destroy noobs, but their scores would soar soon, so it kind of fixes itself. Perhaps tanker's Garages could have an impact as well. Does anyone like the idea? You're the exact type person we want to get rid of...

Stupid thing in tanki? The annoying Russians that come into battles when the ranks are too low for formats and kill everyone (think firebird in xp/bp or any weapon in a highways sniper battle)

Juggernauts can't use drugs. Look above :) Definitely not OP, for one because it can't drug, second, an M2 Striker with Uranium alt and DD can take it out in one blow. It's not too difficult. As I mentioned, Juggernaut can't drug. It is annoying though, cause many people just go for other players and not the Juggernaut. Still, any drugging group of tanks could take out a juggernaut by the Sergeant ranks.

As a fellow railgun user I can confirm this, but in all truth everyone hates that Freeze that is M2 because of a kit at Warrant Officer 3. When dealing with long range - particularly rail and shaft because of reload time - Smoky is most effective due to it's impact. You will not find it difficult to kill your opponent if there is no cover, but it takes practice to achieve this level.
