In any case, the point was that writing Hinglish isn't 'insult' or deterioration of the language. It's just mingling of cultures.

My overall point remains the same. We cannot have the Off topic discussion full of topics which are 'people speaking their minds'. You can do that in Amateur Writing Section where the right kind of audience will read it and reply to it. In off topic, all such topics will be deemed as a troll by many, if not all, of the community members. And, as I explained, one thing just leads to another and we have a flood of our hands. For example, sometime in 2015, forum admins experimented and removed the Section rule which prohibits topics regarding specific players. They did it cause that rule prevented lots of discussions which actually made sense and were interesting. The result? Staring with robbie56, within a few hours there were tens of 'Let's discuss me' topics which didn't have any constructive utility. No one is to be blamed for this, but as I said, that's just how the nature of this forum is.

Man, you're talking like Hindi is am endangered language or something. And what's wrong with Hinglish? Languages and cultures have always mixed up together. That's the way of world. You think Hindi is a pure language? Of course not! It is derived largely from Sanskrit but also borrows heavily from Urdu. That's why you'll see that many Urdu speakers are able to understand us and vice versa. Writing in Latin Script allows them to understand top while Devanagri script will hugely limit of number of readers. The purpose of the newspaper is to cater to maximum number of people, not elite few. ;)

Exactly my point. The nature of this forum doesn't allow us to have many kinds of discussions which are easily possible on other forums. But, there's nothing we can do about it. :lol:, joost looks boiling but he does have a great sense of humour. As for the suggestion, it's not that simple. How will we choose which topics to close and which to let open? After all, if one guy wants to troll, hundred others will think, 'I should make my own too' leading to disaster. There's no way we can allow one topic without allowing all the others.

Mods have a far greater sense of humour than you give credit for. The obvious proof is that we did, in fact, allow the recent troll topics to stay open for a while and didn't close them immediately. But there are limits. Making one or two topics is fine, but once things get out of hands and everyone believes they should make one troll topic too, that's when we have to step in. Come on, even we'd like to have some fun, but given current conditions, allowing one such topics leads people to believe it's their birthright hence flooding the whole section. -_-... There's no problem with a little humour if you can keep it in control.

I understand your situation. I was quite frustrated with Railguns at around your rank too :P.. But I had to manage. I devised various tactics to avoid them and play different maps even though I didn't like them that much, but that's how the whole game works. You'll have to keep on adapting. That way, you'll be able to explore all gameplay styles and equipment before you finally set on one.

OK, firstly, Hinglish is the usage of both Hindi and English phrases/words in same sentence, jaise Ki Yeh. Secondly, I personally would have great difficulty reading Devanagri script and even greater problems writing in it since it has a lot more alphabets and phonetics than English. Writing in Latin script solves far more issues than it causes.

Understand one thing: The test servers aren't meant to mess around with millions of crystals and M4 equipment. They provide important data for the developers hence testing has to take place in a restricted environment. Right now, the feature being tested is Matchmaking System which allows us to enter random battles. Hence, battle creation has been disabled since it's not relevant to the feature being tested. All the other restrictions are there due to the same reason. The only update which live servers will get is the Battle Button which will send us to random battles and the lessening of pause time. Not sure what 'experience' you're talking about unless you're an alt. If anything, shaft is quite rare by the end of M1 stages and the numbers keep dwindling till M3. As for shaft not requiring any skill, try using it someday ;). If you want to avoid shafts, start playing on maps on which shaft cannot be used. Small maps, open maps fall into this category.

The descriptions of each sub sections aren't complete on their own and don't really define the exclusivity of that section (except in obvious cases like Forum Games or I&S). When we say the discussions not related to Tanki Online, we won't close a topic just because it's related to Tanki Online but in a way that it suits Off Topic discussion more than Game Discussion. Take POTD for example. The the topic is meant for sharing photos, not necessarily from Tanki. If you go back to any point of time in that topic, there will be multiple memes, gif's etc which are unrelated to Tanki and would not be allowed if the topic were to be placed in Game Discussion. Being in Off topic allows these topics to be flexible hence why these are more popular than any of the Game Discussion topics. Topics Merged You don't get crystals directly for every kill but you get experience points according to which your battle score in decided (You can see that by pressing Tab while in battle). At the end of the battle, the battle fund is divided amongst players according to their score.
