Ma'am, you're unnecessarily trying to draw a parallel where there isn't any basis for one. Your husband does extra work; quite a few people do that. But not all. Not everyone can be forced to do everything. Also, that's real life work. He actually gets paid for it. Moderation is volunteer work and the only compensation is virtual currency. There are Moderators who are doing multiple jobs at a time, but they are extremely skilled and experienced people. Experience comes with time. Lets assume this scenario comes true and I have powers everywhere. Now, it'll take loads of hours everyday for a month or two for me to just get used to all those powers and familiarise myself with protocols. After that, if I get overwhelmed and quit, admins will have just wasted their time and energy. It'll be even bigger of a mess to organise Moderators and complete a project since everyone would be working everywhere and no one can be made to commit. Another problem would arise when players contact us for questions and we don't know who to direct them to. These are just some of the problems of a unified mod force. All in all, it's impractical and quite inefficient and it will only makes things worse not better.

Sorry but you're not getting it. Even if your husband is managing other departments, he's doing the same job, that is, management. You cannot, however, tell a Tech Support employee to work in Sales department. I'm not saying it's not possible. We have Moderators working multiple jobs but it's rare. It certainly cannot be made mandatory for everyone to do everything.

Couldn't have answered this any better than Penguin already did. For example, giving me powers in chat would just be an extra load since I wouldn't be aware of the protocols to be followed to stuff to be done. Same goes for other areas. Training one guy in everything is not only waste of time and energy but also inefficient. This doesn't just apply here but even in real world. You don't see marketing team handling production or the other way round.

Answered, thanks.

Well, being a free player, I can understand how it feels to spend huge amounts on a single deal. I bought two kits in M2 ranks, namely Firewall and Bulldozer. Both costed me around 140-150k after all the discounts. Buying kits, imo, has been a better deal overall than buying stuff individually. Firewall was a tough choice. I also had the option of going for Minotaur since twins has always been a formidable opponent in the battlefield. But buying Northerner would've costed me around 30k more which would leave no crystals for MU'ing. I had been using viking throughout my career so that was also tempting. But I finally decided that twins didn't suit my gameplay style and went for Firewall. It has never disappointed me. Even with 3-4 MU's, Firebird didn't let me down even against M3's. Hunter was a nice combination of armour and speed and I soon realised how underrated it is. Of course all this was before the global update of all equipment. In the end, I definitely do not regret my decision to buy Firewall even though I had to significantly alter my playing style to work with it. Bulldozer was a relatively easier choice. Even though people were warning me how underpowered Thunder is in later ranks, I was quite inclined towards it; having played with it for majority of my Warrant Officer and Lieutenant ranks. My main motivation was the Kodiak T-C M3 module with protections from Railgun, Thunder and Twins (all three which I faced regularly in mid field). The module itself costed 100k more than the kit so the deal was too good to let pass. I was deciding between that and Healer, and as things have turned out, I would have regretted buying Healer XD. So, yeah.. I'd say you should save up for kits even though it means you'll have a tough time right now. I'd suggest you to participate in Newspaper Contests, Tanki Thinking Challenge, community events etc to boost your crystal income. Unless you're really keen on Dictator, I'd suggest for Northerner as twins is still quite effective.

Well, as I said, there are some good companies to work for but the gaming industry in general is a plague. That doesn't mean the management problems don't occur in other fields, but the gaming industry has become infamous for it. Sure, stockbrokers and traders and such have high stress jobs but their reward is also quite high. As a developer in gaming industry, if you make a successful game, it won't make you a multi millionaire. The ugly combination of high risk, poor work conditions, low rewards and market oversaturation is what is causing majority of this industry to fail in their purpose.

Oh, dear.. That doesn't look too good. But yeah, it's a common knowledge that most gaming studios are a nightmare to work for. It's not just a problem with Alternativa but the whole gaming industry in general. I'm not saying there aren't good working environments in this industry but it's rare. Video games are still in their infancy. A new form of art which has power to influence large masses. But yeah, there's a lot of confusion and chaos surrounding it. Some people see it as an art form and want to express ideas through it. Some see it as a product to be advertised and sold. Some see it as a temporary trend in the new generation, etc etc. All this chaos is just leading to worse and worse conditions for people working in the industry and worse products for consumers. Video games have a long way to go before they're critically acclaimed like movies or literature. We can only try our best to make positive change where we can and educate people by breaking the myths surrounding Video games and people who play them. Here's a video I felt like sharing:

Of course, of course... It's just that a company will hardly want (or has any reason) to release their recruitment details to its customers.
-
Just because they're hiring more people means some are leaving?.. Hardly makes sense.

You just love to play with people's conscience don't you? <_<... In any case, child or no child, stranger is stranger. After all, you're never too young to die.
-
Easy peasy. If you're unbiased, then saving 5 lives over 1 is morally justified. But, as you say, if I know that man personally and care about him, there's a good chance I'd let the 5 strangers die. Inspite of all the hypocritical arguments by everyone, when it comes down to it, no one would sacrifice the life of a loved one for a stranger. That's the truth.

When you say 'now'.. How long is that?

The events are meant to be for EN community only since each community organises its own events. No, you cannot do that. There will be winners in two categories: International and Russian. EN community is obviously a part of International category. Since DE/PL/BR/ES are also part of international category, it is possible that none of the winners might be from EN. So, it all depends on how good parkourists our players are ;).

There's a perfectly legitimate explanation as to why Tanki should do this and why they're unable to do it for all countries around the world. Try and read up a bit on Global economy and you might understand.

You didn't say sorry to me -_- RIP Rabeen Gold look, you scared him with all that reporter stuff, he's going on. Come here and take responsibility, ok... -_-

Let's not go to Newton's laws yet. Let's come down. To the base. Have a little faith, will you? All of science works because we have faith in the basic axioms. Take Euclidean geometry, for example. One of the postulates (5th) says that 'if sum of interior angles of two lines with a third line is less than 180°, then those two lines produced will meet each other.' Now, while this seems obvious, it fails completely when you curve the spacetime in which the lines are made. Curved spacetime was proposed by Einstein's General Relativity. Hence, in space, you won't be able to apply this postulate. Another example, gravitational force. Out of the four forces known to us in the universe, gravitational force is the weakest force. Now, how do we know it's a thing? How do we know Gravity isn't just an effect of a more subtle phenomena? Or maybe even a much larger one? We have to have some beliefs upon which to work. When we use gravitational forces in our calculations, we assume that all parties having the property known as mass will also be affected by Gravitational forces. Newton's laws are perfectly applicable in Clasical Physics and that won't change until our understanding of physics does.

Hey guys. We have created an official Tanki X Chat server on Discord. Feel free to join it: https://discord.gg/XZu34EG

Personally, I'd love to have such debates myself but there's no way to control the players. Things always get heated up in the end and someone or the other gets offended and starts breaking rules by insulting/provocative posts, etc.

Sorry, I realise that the way I wrote could be misinterpreted. What I meant was that Hindi has many similarities with Urdu and both have partially common origins on sanskrit. In any case, the point was that writing Hinglish isn't 'insult' or deterioration of the language. It's just mingling of cultures.
