And then there are people like you who'd love to pick up on conspiracies. :)... If you talk to anyone who knows me, you'll find out that I've always been this way. Being a mod has got nothing to do with my feelings for Indian culture. I am perfectly okay with other people (including those who speak urdu) reading our Hindi newspaper. I'm also perfectly fine with everyone participating in contests. If you aren't, you're selfish and narrow minded, not patriotic. Of course, accepting and respecting other languages doesn't mean that you demean your own native one. I hate such people and I'm not one of them. If people are using Latin (or any other script) to communicate I'm Hindi, I consider it as something to be proud of and not an insult. If you love your language, you'll share it and let it evolve, not restrict it behind bars of narrow nationalism and twisted philosophies. Aur bhaiyon, mujhe chamchagiri ke liye kuch nahi milta hai. Mai jo bol raha hoon, wo meri apni soch hai. Also, Recharged ray, I don't know what issues you have had with Newspaper team, but what you're doing isn't going to help anyone. There are better ways to solve problems than create a ruckus about it.

I never said you're a loony conspiracy theorist. I apologise if it seemed that way. I was just saying that this update was to be more or less expected after the global update in October. And when these tweaks are logically to be expected, some nerfs should be expected too. What exactly those nerfs would be, cannot be said by even the developers without the data of game balance. So, I'm not surprised that it happened the way it did. Firebird, on of my favorite Turrets, got a significant nerf too even though I had just spent quite a lot of crystals on it. It feels bad, but it cannot be helped.Also, sales and updates are planned by two different departments so there's a good chance that these sales were planned way before they even had a clue about this tweak. And if they had intimated us that a tweak is coming, the sale wouldn't have been of any use since no one would have bothered to spend much crystals in fear of a nerf. All things considered, I really doubt this thing could have gone any other way.

That's what India is supplied to be and that's what it's supposed to represent. I don't know about you, but that's the philosophy I choose to advocate. :)

I believe you should be able to reason that out for yourself. The global update happened in mid October and obviously they've been collecting stats on usage and performance of various equipment since then. So, what's more logical? Them releasing this patch update just after sales due to conspiracies or them actually requiring a month or so of data to decide what changes to make?As for all the other players saying that Tanki is ripping us off, I don't know about that. But what I do know is that they have made it clear since many years ago that the game balance is dynamic and equipment will continually get tweaked so that no one combo remains OP/UP forever.

Hey, unfortunately, buying crystals isn't available directly in rupees so you'll have to make a cross currency transaction using services like PayPal. Of course, you'll have to pay slightly more for the currency conversion, but that's the only way you can buy the kits for now.

I'm stuck in a dirty system, in a narrow minded society with a bleak future. And no, I won't say the stereotypical consolations to 'have hope' and 'look on the bright side'. Pffffffft... It's easy to say that when you're not doomed. So, what can you do? Die? Definitely not. That's not a solution. You won't end pain. You'll only pass it on. You talk about tests, I spent about 5 years of my life preparing for one... And failed. And now I'm trying again. Not because I have hope. But because I refuse to be beaten by a piece of paper. All the anger and desperation I have, has been channelised into preparing for this test. It's not the best mindset for preparation, I admit. But, desperate times call for desperate measures. After your last topic regarding this issue, various plans were immediately drafted with the aim of better forum management, specifically, the off topic discussion. However, just moving those topics to Game Discussion isn't a solution as that would give rise to various other confusions and complications. Hence, along with moving those topics, we also need to clarify what exactly off topic is meant for, which topics can be allowed there, etc. That's why the task is taking longer than one would expect. Rest assured, it's definitely on our to-do list. I'm not sure how that pertains to corruption. :huh:... I mean, how does that benefit anyone?

Did you consider that the pass will last 30 days? :huh:... By your own calculations, you'll recover the cost of the pass in a day and have a net profit for next 29 days.

Getting DCC is unaffected by this so the chance of you getting a DCC is same as on any other day. Since its randomly selected, you cannot predict when you will get a DCC.

Exactly. Daylight Savings is a local phenomena and players can adpat to it...UTC time, however, remains same.

^That is true for you and for all the other people who use Daylight Savings. But majority of the world doesn't use it and follows a single time zone. Hence, the time was only changed once, from 1800 to 1900 and whatever happened in Canada and US after that is local to that area. For rest of the world, Tanki Thinking Challenge is posted an hour later now.
