Devs don't do time management. The management does. In few companies can the employees just say "Hey, let's spend several hundred man-hours making animated versions of the 100+ garage paints there are" and expect to get away with it.

No. Capping flags is hard, and usually it requires drugs or lots of teamwork, so no one caps flags. Or some buyer will steamroll the lother team. This is why I prefer Rugby for now: scoring goals is easier than capping flags, so there is actually some incentive to work as a team.

On Tanki's birthday there were 50% sales but no increased gold drop rate, and there were plenty of complaints. Here we have only 30% discounts but x10 golds, and immediately Tanki is the best thing ever. Why so many people value worthless goldboxes over sales is beyond me.

It does not. Before, there was some strategy in using supplies, because you had a fairly long smart cooldown after enabling either DA or DD, but now, you can enable all three supplies within just 15 seconds. On top of that, you have a get-out-of-jail-free-card, aka repair kit, which means you can overextend all you want and get away with it. Without supplies, you have to think a lot more about which routes you are going to take, who you are going to meet, when it is time to run away, etc. Having an Isida becomes extremely important as well. Try a no-supplies battle, you'll see how it is.
