  1. Wanna know what's funny? Gauss never got any crystal Augments. But still, thanks for giving Tesla some crystal augments. You guys partially made my day with that :)

    Let's Discuss B0-NK

I dunno, Arms Race feels more like a "Deathmatch Campaign Mode where you gradually use all the useable turrets in the game". Not a "Destroy the guy using the special limited equipment" mode. If B0-NK was meant to be a Super (or "Special") turret similar to Terminator, it should be in a gamemode dedicated specifically to it, for example like how the goal in Team Juggernaut is to destroy players using Terminator turrets. Arms-Race does have the spiritual goal to "use B0-NK or whatever the last turret is", but in the end, the real goal is simply get more kills than anyone else. In the Arms-Race, there is a chance that a full 30 minute battle can go by without anyone managing to use B0-NK (or any of the other turrets besides Smoky if people decide not to kill), whereas in Solo and Team Juggernaut, even if no one scores points, the Juggernaut/Terminator combo will still always be present on the battlefield. Actually, I feel like B0-NK has a useful purpose in MM battles, or any battle for instance. Like how Freeze is used to defend game items like flags for instance... Or Isida is used to heal allies... B0-NK's role would be an anti-Heavy Hull turret. It would excel in taking down heavy hulls because... It one-shots them Heavy hulls are slow and will have a difficult time outrunning a B0-NK user. Thus, B0-NK is kinda a "reversed" turret. Whereas every other turret has an easier time taking out light hulls and have a harder time destroying heavy hulls due to the heavy hulls having higher health... B0-NK would have an easier time taking out heavy hulls and have a harder time destroying light hulls due to the light hulls having faster speed. And B0-NK one-shots everyone anyway, so it would be better off prioritizing a heavy hull as they are easier to catch up to. You can help your team get rid of the enemy's heaviest tanks in one hit. Light hulls would be the most troublesome for B0-NK, so adding B0-NK to matchmaking may make light hulls like Wasp popular again in the high leveled MM battles, where they are a rare sight to see.
  3. True, because Isida's "weakness" is its short range, so anything from Tesla to Shaft can destroy it pretty easily if they are skilled enough to keep their distance and prevent the Isida from leeching their health and become undying. Although, it is really annoying that it becomes nearly impossible to kill once it has locked onto you. Vampire Nanobots is mainly just absolutely broken against Firebird, Freeze, other Isidas, and B0-NK if it ever comes because those turrets all have the same or less range than Isida itself :(
  4. I only used it for less than an hour on the test server and I already knew it needed a nerf.

    Ideas for Augments!

In a proper, enjoyable multiplayer game, no matter the rarity, everything is supposed to be balanced. So therefore even though something is "Legendary", it will never be stronger than something that is "Common". Which is why I think the Rubbery Rounds alts are alright now. They only seem to "suck for a Legendary" because the developers have decided to make Tanki no longer enjoyable to all by making items of rarer rarity be more powerful than common items, a trend that has started with the release of Gauss' EMP Salvo in 2020.

    Ideas for Missions!

FunFact: If you reversed this and removed the "top 3" requirement instead, then all you have to do is be on the winning team and thus you got a 50% chance each battle to add progress to the mission :)
  7. I feel like this mechanic should be a separate augment/alteration for Ricochet instead. It makes more sense considering that turret's main focus was supposed to be bouncing projectiles. And Rubberized Rounds for Vulcan is used to grant Vulcan, a turret whose projectiles barely bounce at all, the ability for its bullets to reliably bounce. It doesn't need any other buffs to be honest. The augment already did its main job - turn Vulcan into a pseudo-Ricochet so you don't need to buy Ricochet if Vulcan fits your playstyle more.

    Let's Discuss B0-NK

Honestly, B0-NK doesn't count as a "Super Turret" like Terminator is. Because Terminator has massive damage output as well as infinite range. Yeah, even though B0-NK deals 9999 damage per critical hit and has a critical hit chance of 99% (via the wiki), its range, inability to rotate, and melee nature is the turret's biggest "downfall" and keeps it from being overpowered. Literally every other turret in the game outranges it by a large margin. Which is why I think B0-NK should be released into the garage for crystals as a conventional turret like every other turret except Terminator. It's also pretty unique, as it is the first true melee weapon in the game and has a pretty original design, unlike Terminator which is just a photoshopped, overpowered Railgun. Also... If most of (Mk7+) B0-NK's range and reload stats remained the same as it is now... As long as it does between 8000 - 9999 damage, it is balanced, but no module will protect you against it so don't waste crystals in buying anti- B0-NK Protection Modules. You're better off just running. As long as it does between 4000 - 7999 damage, it is balanced but protection modules will nerf the turret slightly. Then again, that's what modules are for so the flow of the game's equipment is maintained. As long as it does below 4000 damage per shot, it is underpowered.

    Never Realeased augaments

In fact, I feel like the Isida damage buff we got in 2019 was supposed to be this "Assault Nanorobots-type" Alteration, but the developers decided to use it as a balance change for the actual main turret itself. Like literally, the change they made to default Isida in 2019 was a damage buff accompanied by a healing nerf.

    Episode 307 of the V-LOG!

Unfortunately, the devs also said they may someday make turrets/hulls unlockable in Containers only. In which case, I predict Tesla will probably remain a Legendary turret of some sort... :( But lets hope stuff like this doesn't happen ?

    Ranked System

That's the main problem with a "level" system - (aka, "League" or "Trophy" system in other games) You can manipulate the matchmaking by purposely losing, in order to go down a few levels, in order to be matched against lower players for hopefully, easier matches.

    Secret Firebird Alteration?

Quick question: Why were these self-heating/cooling alterations scrapped? I honestly think they are way better and more interesting than stuff like Heat/Cold Immunity lol.

    Tanki Offline

So back in winter 2016 or 2017, I forgot which year it was, there was a several month period in which I could never play Tanki because the game wouldn't load at all. It all begin after a server restart that introduced some update to the game. I tried all the remedies such as clearing cache and stuff like that but nothing worked. Luckily, Tanki finally loaded for me again a few months later when I randomly decided to log on again.

    Episode 307 of the V-LOG!

I would've been excited for the new interface but the gameplay itself no longer fits my playstyle nowadays. Every damage-dealing thing seems to have gotten a buff and the introduction of numerous negative status effects causes us to usually die in battles much faster than in comparison to 3 years ago...unless we invest in something like Defender or Lifeguard and the 4th Module slot.

    August Challenge I

How are the Augments "unique"? We literally have a bunch that simply apply the same status effects. AP Shaft isn't the only AP augment in the game lol.

    Episode 307 of the V-LOG!

True, I actually did consider that. It's just I decided to play it safe cause the cyclone icon looks more similar to the Mammoth OD's icon we have today, but yeah, it could be for a different hull altogether. It most probably is.

    Episode 307 of the V-LOG!

It seems more like the "bad decision making" is done on purpose at this point lol. Literally, whenever players complain about problems that are obviously a problem, all the devs, or at least Opex-Rah, just smile weirdly or give a very very vague explanation on why they did such unwanted updates, much of the time, with no real answers and no real closure. And if it was really bad-decision making simply because they lacked the knowledge of the true outcome of their decisions, they should've fixed such problems in a relatively quick manner of time once they found out players despised the change. A few months at the most. Not wait over a year like they did with the Vulcan Incendiary Band + Heat Immunity exploit, just to name a few of their bad decisions.
  19. Sadly, hammers are no longer Meta in that. It's all mostly vertical drum spinners now :(

My best guess. I don't understand why we need to redesign some of the existing icons, but oh well.

Honestly, it feels like the devs are trolling us at this point. Purposely annoying us for their own entertainment.

    Tesla XT

The design should've been based off an animal, like a Scorpion or a Crab, or a Beetle. Not just have random lightning marks. Otherwise, you guys shouldn't have called it an "XT" skin, but rather just start a new line of skins that incorporates designs based on the turret's attributes, such as lightning for Tesla.
  23. The most annoying is EMP Sure, AP can remove armor but you still keep your double damage and speed boost, so you can either just try to blast the enemy away or run and hide. With EMP, in addition to removing double armor, it also removes the speed boost so really you are now left in an open field and prone to easy defeat. You can't run anywhere fast enough and without a boosted turret, you can't easily kill the enemy which is most likely on full supplies. EMP alone is basically almost the same as an Armor-Piercing effect cause of how essential Double Armor is in matchmaking, but it also disables speed and damage as well. And the stunning effect isn't really that annoying. It does remove all movement and prevents you from doing anything but at least it keeps your armor so you can survive if you are beefy enough. Also, I do understand why people consider this as the most annoying effect, but honestly it's really the developers' fault. Stun effects (in most games I played at least) are only supposed to last for a pretty short duration, but we got Railgun's stun augment being cranked up to the max and Hunter's stun is accompanied with an EMP effect as well, so it effectively immobilizes you and removes much of your armor and makes you more squishy while knocked out. Otherwise, the stun effect on its own and with a balanced, shorter duration (maybe 1 second per stun, 3 seconds max on certain equipment) is pretty tolerable. In my opinion, stunning is supposed to act as an alteration of the freezing effect. Ideally, stuns last shorter but they block full movement and shooting while freezes have a longer duration but a lesser movement restriction. So overall, in order from most annoying to least annoying based on how they are in the game: EMP: It deletes your supplies and effectively renders both your offensive and defensive power useless. And in a matchmaking battles where literally everyone above Warrant Officer 5 has supplies nowadays, removing supplies on someone is putting them at a huge disadvantage, especially since supplies are usually active all the time and it's not like the Jammer effect which disables an ability that people use much less often. Luckily though, it has little to no effect in Pro Battles but no one cares about those too much nowadays anyway. Stunning: Only because the developers dialed up the durations on some of these stuns to insanely long durations. But otherwise, I would've ranked it below the Burning effect. Like the freezing effect, it does no real damage, it only acts as a movement and ability restrictor. Burning: Don't be too surprised, 300 damage per second is really powerful and it should be changed back to how it was before October 2018 or just receive a nerf to it's damage. And no, I don't count Heat Immunity as a nerf for this. Players shouldn't have to grind years of tankcoins or pay money for tankcoins just to "manually nerf" things in the game. Also, it doesn't really count as a nerf if equipping Heat Immunity is "optional". Armor Piercing: Yeah, it removes all armor but thankfully map obstacles act as non-removable armor. It's mostly Armor Piercing Core Magnums that are super annoying with this as they can shoot over the map obstacles. All-in-all, campers are least affected by this as they don't expose themselves much and even though it removes armor, at least your offensive power is still active as your speed boosts and damage boosts are not affected. However, I am really annoyed at the "concept" of this status effect. It's called "armor-piercing" but why does it "inflict" an effect on your enemy's armor? Shouldn't it "inflict" an effect on YOUR AMMO, allowing all your projectiles to bypass enemy armor? Because if it inflicts an effect on the enemy armor, the name of the status effect should be changed to "Armor Destroyer" or something like that. Supercharge: This effect isn't really that annoying on it's own, it just sucks that some turrets have absurd critical hit damages and it sucks that this effect can be paired with Double Damage for maximum damage. Freezing: No real damage, and you can technically still fight back in nearly every possible way. All you lose is speed, so it just makes you a easy victim for short-range turret users, Vulcan and Striker users, B0-NK people, and you have 0 chance of escaping with an enemy flag. Double Damage: If you don't have double armor or a 50% module equipped, players with this status effect will ruin your day. Thankfully, it boosts no other effects or inflict anything on you. Double Armor: All it does is boost resistance, but they can't kill you or do anything as long as they don't shoot back. All-in-all, it's not that annoying unless paired with other status effects. Immunity: This would be the most annoying status effect, but HUGE props to the developers for making it only activate for two seconds when respawning then going away forever unless you die and respawn again. Jammer: Not gonna lie, Overdrives are one of the "rarer" game mechanics so this doesn't do a whole lot. Yes, it's annoying if you can't activate overdrive after an enemy activates theirs on you, and in some tricky situations, you may need overdrive but otherwise, Jammer has a short duration yet all it does is prevents a game mechanic that has a long recharge from working. Also, with the amount of people who are iffy about overdrives being in the game, this effect is more like a gift to people who hate the concept of overdrives (like me). Overdrives are cool, but they kill you way too fast/make you become GodMode way too easily. No more skill is needed nowadays. Just point your Viking's Berserk Reactor and shoot. The main thing for me at least, that annoys me about Jammer, is why is it called "Jammer"? I would've called it "Jamming" lol, to fit the -ing theme of the Burning, Freezing, Stunning, and Armor Piercing effects. There's a reason why we don't use terms like Burner, Freezer, Stunner, and Armor Piercer. Speed Boost: It boosts your speed but it doesn't boost any turret damage or armor resistance so it doesn't make it easier to kill enemies or survive enemy attacks. But it does have it's functions especially when paired with shorter ranged turrets and trying to escape with flags. Overall, only annoying if you don't have a speed boost active while the enemy does. Self-Destruction: You brought it on yourself. Also, funfact: EMP is the only status effect that literally deletes your crystals (because the supplies you activate are technically consumables that have monetary value)

    Summer Sport Games

OHHHHH I just realized "Summer Sport Games" is supposed to be a reference to the Olympic Game happening this summer.
