My guess is, it's not an Augment/Alteration. It's just that on that day, the devs decided to make Default Railgun fire super fast for some reason, maybe to test out how often critical hits happen or something like that. Similar to how sometimes, we get insta-OD charge on the test server, or the Nuclear Supply constantly drops sometimes on there. It's just a test server thing to test out something about Railgun without having to wait the 5 seconds each time you wanna take a shot. Otherwise, it's not gonna be in the actual game. Or at least not like what we saw. If it does become an Alt, we'd probably be unable to use other augments with it, like how augs/alts have always been since 2018. Also, the youtuber never showed us how to equip the supposed Autocannon for Railgun. So yeah, it's probably just something for the test server. I hope I'm right O_O

Actually, it's probably more like 5% now.... Cause much of the players who don't have the skins/didn't like this and other recent updates have left/quit/gone on haitus XD Therefore possibly raising the percentage of players who have all skins unlocked compared to those that don't, and thus giving developers much different statistics then we should've normally seen from a Freemium game like Tanki. And the developers will use that to advertise and exaggerate their claims on why they did such stupid updates. It may go like: F2P Players: "Hey devs, why'd you increase the price of the battle pass by 3 times yet only allow people with all skins to get a boosted tankcoin reward?" Developers: "It was because we looked at our data and we saw a large* portion of the players had already acquired all the skins, and thus we'd figured the update will be a-okay as it would benefit much* of the playerbase!" I don't know, it's just my theory hehe.

Why were the turret "Alterations" rebranded and called "Augments" now and why do like half of the turret/hull augments have downsides, while the other half have no downsides?

Interestingly, that time in my opinion was 2017 - October 2018 :D All the augments were balanced Alterations, or they tried their best with most of them at least. Cue the Compact Fuel Tank Flashbacks The only Status Effects were the supplies and Burning and Freezing, all of which have been in the game for nearly a decade at the time and barely anyone complained about their existence. Well, we did complain a bit about supplies being buyer-only, but the developers fixed that by adding missions and containers. Thank goodness. We all have supplies now :D Everyone had the same overdrive. Yes, it's a bit annoying cause a team can wipe out another team if they utilized their overdrives to their maximum potential, but at least we don't have certain hulls being weaker/stronger than others like today. Like Hornet's OD vs Hopper OD And Drones didn't come till October.

Well Tesla is the only turret with true Unlimited Ammo. All you need to do is aim. You can simply activate auto-fire (its been a while since I've been on mobile, idk if they still have that feature) and let the game do the shooting for you XD.

Lol, I thought Tesla was always HD :D More like, they need to change the HD skin lol. Cause the lack of silver stuff makes it looks too much like a Tesla M0 or M1 right now hehehehe. Not formidable against other M2/M3 themed turrets. Ooooh, have you seen Tesla XT yet?

It kinda needs more silver plating/armor to make it match the same aesthetics as most of the M3/HD skins of the other turrets. But besides that, it's the coolest looking turret in my opinion.

@Hex actually showed us what Tesla XT looked like on the Tanki Wiki Discord server lol. I saved an image of it but I won't show it cause idk if I'm allowed to.

I honestly forgot too until LunaStar created this topic hehe. Lol, I stopped participating in wars after War: Domination cause I had left the game in 2019 and by the time I came back in 2020, Tanki was done with wars lol. But yeah, I know how nice they are XD. The Christmas War was like the first war they did in a while that was in a similar style as the First War and War: Domination :)

NICE!!! I honestly have one of the lowest luck of all Tanki players hehe. Also I was busy today and I didn't manage to log on to do today's missions. And since I have no time to grind tomorrow, I guess it's time to quit.

War: Domination was the best. Not only because of the rewards, but it was a fun use of the stars currency, rather than copying Fortnite and making an impossible to finish Season Pass system. Also, Tanki Online's economy and gameplay was more or less balanced at the time, so that also added to the "fun-ness" of the war.

When Tesla gets released, I will use it as my main turret.

I know :( Also, wanted to point out, that Jammer Immunity for Titan could very well have been one of the Legendary Turret Augments had the developers not constantly keep making new status effects. I did hehe. But honestly, with battle passes costing 1,500 tankcoins and challenges needing 4,000 stars to reach tier 50, I thought it was better just to try my luck with the lottery lol.

Well I just opened my last set of Containers, Ultra Containers, and Coinboxes today. I decided to purge all my tankcoins into coinboxes lol. The end result was a bit disappointing.

To be honest, I don't play on mobile so I don't really care. Mobile Tanki is extremely laggy for me and I have one of the newest models for an LG phone. The lag makes all turrets work horrible on mobile for me.

You guys had a huge missed opportunity to make the Alterations come with their own skins and/or shot effects. For example, Hammer's Slugger Alteration could've auto-equipped the turret with the OG skin that @The_Black_Pearl showed us above.

Facts! 100% Agree.

If your teammates or enemies use Tesla, they can also shoot at your own balls to their own advantage. Basically, the balls of lightning Tesla shoots are the first projectile that Tanki has ever had that is "neutral". No matter who fired the lightning ball, any other Tesla whether it be ally or enemy can use it to their own advantage and shoot the ball to chain shots off and increase their range.
