  1. XD Not gonna lie though, given that the majority of people here seem to think Viking is the most unstable medium hull, making it have a larger hitbox will worsen the problem, as it makes it easier for the enemies to shoot Vikings. Also, the taller the hitbox, the easier it is to shoot the top of a hull and attempt to flip it on its side or upside-down.....unless you also increase the length and width of the hitbox (like Dictator).

Bye bye tanki, hello space invaders...

I honestly thought we only wanted one hovering hull, which would be Ares. Ares was a cool addition...... As for the others..... Hopper has the most annoying overdrive and physics..... And Crusader is by far the ugliest looking hull in the game (my opinion btw). I'm not saying the game designers are bad, but in a game about Tanks, compared to the likes of Hunter, Dictator, Hornet, etc, Crusader's design is really really.......weird. It looks like a gaming mouse lol.

    Let's Discuss Smoky!

Lol, I bought Assault Rounds years ago, back when it was just 20,000 Crystals. At the time though, it was a "waste" of 20k, wasn't that great. But it's actually a pretty decent alt today due to default amoky and all other smoky alterations having insta-hit removed. Still though, if you buy it today, just so you know, you're wasting 76,000 crystals :,(

    Let's Discuss Smoky!

Yeah, I just said "insta-hit" cause the effects of the alt were basically almost the same.
  5. Yes, it's garbage compared to Crusader and maybe Ares. But compared against the normal hulls, I'd say it's still annoys the heck out of me. It's super annoying especially when I'm using Vulcan, cause the turret rotation while firing is very slow and I therefore cannot catch up unless the Hopper is quite a distance away. There's always a Gauss - Hopper or Smoky - Hopper chipping off my health cause they can shoot and easily go back into cover before I can ever fire back.

    Let's Discuss Smoky!

Here's the new features of Smoky: New Default Skin with a better, more detailed model and texture. Projectiles no longer insta-hit enemies. They now have to travel in the air for some time. Smoky's shots can now bounce off obstacles once, if shot at from a certain angle. Critical hit chances have been reworked. The Assault Rounds alteration is actually worth buying now, as it grants you insta-hit, a feature that was removed from Smoky in January.
  7. Hopper is still OP. And it's mainly because of the mouse control/mobile control strafing ability. Wasp and Hornet can strafe as well, but when Hopper strafes, it points the front of the hull at the enemy, whereas Wasp and Hornet point the sides of their hull at the enemy. The sides of a hull is much wider than the front an back sides of a hull, thus making it easier to hit a strafing Wasp and Hornet, and much harder to hit a strafing Hopper. And unlike Hopper, Wasp and Hornet cannot move sideways unless they turn the hull's orientation. Same applies for the peek-a-boo tactic (when you hide behind an obstacle, pop out, shoot the enemy, and pop back behind the obstacle) Wasp and Hornet have to expose more of the hull in order to reveal the turret and get a clear shot. Hopper only has to reveal the less wide front side of the hull when it's utilizing mouse controls and mobile controls. In the end, Hopper spends less time in the line of enemy fire due to it exposing the front side of it's hull while strafing. This is why fighting Hoppers with turrets such as Twins, Ricochet, Vulcan, and Striker can be so annoying. Hopper can easily dodge the slower projectiles cause in essence, it is "thinner" than Wasp and Hornet when in combat.

The Armor-Piercing effect should be given a new name

No, that would be too Overpowered lol...... I'm just suggesting that the developers should rename the effect and give it a name that makes more sense, because armor-piercing in real life doesn't magically allow all things, even non-armor piercing projectiles, to bypass armor (which, in Tanki, if someone inflicts armor-piercing on the enemy, than all teammates will bypass the armor for some reason, even newbies who have weak turrets and such XD).

The Armor-Piercing effect should be given a new name

I agree. It's also the most straightforward one lol

    F2P strategies?

Here's a simple strategy: Only work on missions each day. Playing for too long will deplete your supplies, and if you have a Drone equipped, you will run out of batteries much quicker. Never buy turret Alterations/Augments. Too expensive You're sometimes better off using the default version of the turret. For some turrets like Firebird, Striker, and Thunder, most of the augments are just as balanced as the default version of the turret. Never ever buy Hull Augments. This is a buyer-only feature. If you want Hull Augments, just try your luck in free containers or wait and buy the pass for a challenge with your desired hull augment in it. When Micro-Upgrading, always wait for a sale when the Micro-Upgrade costs more than 30,000 crystals at full price. Is it really worth paying 30,000 - 50,000 crystals just to get 20 more hitpoints on your favorite hull? Or one percent (1%) extra protection on your favorite Protection Module? Be patient and try your best to not buy Speed Ups for Micro-Upgrades. Yeah, I'm not paying double for 20 measly extra hitpoints.

The Armor-Piercing effect should be given a new name

Armor-Piercing makes no sense at all....well, for Tanki at least, the "Armor-Piercing" name given to the status effect that disables the enemies' Protection Modules and Double Armor make no sense at all.... Why? Because in real life, if you have an armor piercing gun and you shoot someone's bullet-proof vest, it doesn't magically make the vest disappear or phase out for 5 seconds, and when it wears off, the vest is back and can block bullets again. In real life, an Armor Piercing gun always penetrates whatever armor it was meant to pierce through, no matter what, as the effect will affect the Ammunition of the gun, not the Armor of the target. Basically, the term "Armor Piercing" is supposed to be for guns/objects that ALWAYS pierce through armor, not inflict an effect that disables armor. Also, in real life, if a armor piercing gun shoots someone through a bulletproof vest, other shooters using non-armor-piercing guns normally don't get the chance to also bypass the bulletproof vest. Only the original armor-piercing gun will get to pierce armor. No one else can unless they too have an armor-piercing gun. So, I believe we should rename this effect in Tanki..... Here are some of my suggestions: Armor Debuff It basically means to remove the buffs given from armor, such as double armor. Armor Remover Same as above, but it sounds dumber in a Tank game. Defense Debuff Same as above, but it sounds dumber in a high-tech Tank game. Defense Remover Same as above, but it sounds very dumb. Armor Destroyer Mainly because in the game, when you inflict AP on an enemy, the text reads "Armor Is Destroyed". Embrittlement I like this one the most. It sounds more similar in style to other status effects in the game, such as "Burning, Freezing, Stunning". In real life, Embrittlement affects the armor and makes it weaker (more brittle), which is very similar to what the Armor Piercing effect does in Tanki. In real life, the embrittlement effects on metals can be reversed, similar to how Tanki's Armor Piercing Effect eventually wears off. Overall, if we were to add "Armor Piercing" to Tanki, it should be used as a Turret or Alteration that can always pierce through the enemies' armor, no matter what, as the nature of "Armor Piercing" affects gun ammo. And when it pierces through tank armor, it doesn't leave behind an "effect" that allows other tanks that normally don't have armor-piercing to suddenly armor-pierce. Not gonna lie, it would be cool to have a unique turret that can bypass armor but I fear this would be too overpowered, so no please, at least for now.

How to fix the "infinite loading" bug

Nice :D Now we need a fix for the Magnum no-damage bug
  13. Somewhat: Hopper is balanced against other Hoppers and Hovering Hulls due to their strafing abilities being able to compete against one another, as well as people using single-shot turrets like Gauss and Thunder as turrets like these don't have to worry about strafing hovering hulls to get a proper shot, along with Viking and Titan as these hulls have equally broken Overdrives. However, Hopper is overpowered against players using turrets that don't do significant damage per shot, as well as turrets which have slower projectile speeds, such as Vulcan, Ricochet, Striker, and Twins. Against those turrets, Hopper can easily sideways strafe and dodge all their projectiles. Also, Hopper's overdrive is significantly more reliable than the overdrives of Wasp and Mammoth, and the overdrive is far stronger than the likes of Hornet, Hunter, and especially Dictator.

    Suggestion For Striker HD

Railgun actually resembles it's original M2 skin lol.

    What am I doing wrong?

This is no longer a thing lol. Unless you're using a light-hull, there is no way any Striker can 1-shot you. Lol, you're actually very, very lucky. At least in 2019, the Vulcans didn't have Infinite Ammo. This was a result of two years of Containers being in the game. F2p people could earn those things far more than they ever did before. Use the turret that suits you best in battles, even if it's not the most powerful one. For example, Striker is one of the weaker turrets in the game right now (due to it being outcast by some very OP turrets like Magnum), yet I still use it cause I have experience with it, and I manage to do pretty decently in battles. And yes, always go for the Season Pass. It is the only thing you should ever spend Tankcoins on. If you wanna finish the annoying "Finish in the top 3 places on the winning team" missions, than I recommend buying the Mechanic or Supplier Drones. They really help a lot. However, only if you got supplies to spare, and you wanna dominate most battle situations, I'd go for a drone such as Defender, Lifeguard, or Booster.

    Let's Discuss Skins!

This is a sad and depressing theory, but I believe you're probably gonna be right. But instead of calling them "HD XT" skins, Tanki's probably gonna brand them as.... "X-Treme" Skins lol. Like how Ultra Skins are essentially HD Prime skins, but the devs gave the HD Prime skins a new name, "Ultra".

    Ideas for Turrets!

Yeah but sometimes you can do "double damage" onto an enemy who was near the building when the shot bounced, and the shot also happens to bounce directly to said enemy. Thus counting as two hits. Once hit when the shot hits the building, inflicting splash damage on the nearby enemy...... The second hit is when the shot bounced off the building, and it manages to directly hit the enemy, resulting in a second dose of damage.

Where is Juggernaut Mode in Pro Battles?

After a while of thinking about it, I think I got what you mean.... I'm guessing a dude and his friends can join a juggernaut battle... The dude becomes a Juggernaut, and his friends protect him.... And thus the dude whose the juggernaut can farm crystals and K/D. His friends can too because the dude who's the Juggernaut can protect his friends from dying.

    April Fools Day 2021

In an alternate universe, these are actual real updates..... And Hopper's current OP overdrive and the horrible game balance were all April Fools Jokes from 2020 :)

    Ideas for Turrets!

Agreed......also if the shot did bounce, it would be so broken if it did..... Double Splash damage O_O Meaning, something like this would happen:
  22. Hmmmm The in-game stats say Viking's weight is lighter than Dictator, so it really isn't fair that engineers gave the most popular hull in the game (Viking) some sort of high-tech "super-ultra-light metal armor" that not only grants it just as much defense as Dictator's theorized polymer armor (Plastic), but also ends up making Viking much lighter than Dictator.
  23. Tanker-Arthur

    Ideas for Turrets!

Just make sure it isn't as OP as Gauss is now and I'd love to see it in game :)
