I honestly want the following maps to be added: Fort Knox Novel Gravity Esplanade Pass The reason why is because these maps are so nostalgic for me because the year when I finally got mega-hooked to Tanki was in 2017, and at the time, these maps were everywhere. Then Matchmaking came :(

valid Missing shot colors effects for Smoky and Thunder
Tanker-Arthur replied to RIDDLER_8 in Ideas and Suggestions
Thunder actually already got its "projectile" in 2019. Before 2019, it had the Insta-Hit effect that Smoky had prior to the Smoky Update. And it actually got a high-definition skin with the projectile update............Thunder Ultra :( -
What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?
Tanker-Arthur replied to Maf in Game Discussion
Ikr, Overdrives are so "no-skill". It's super annoying and frustrating, especially the following overdrives: Hopper (Stun and Burn for no reason at all. Also, people can jump above you and spawn a Mine doing even more damage!!) Viking (What you said) Titan (Makes you have God-level health....also makes all your teammates have God-level health) Wasp (Not as game-breakingly OP as the three mentioned above, but when the enemy Bomb-Spams, it'll probably get on people's nerves eventually) If this was 2016, Overdrives wouldn't have been allowed in the game. Or maybe they would, but they wouldn't be as "annoying" or "GodMode" as the overdrives we have in the game right now. The developers at the time were doing their best to make the game less "no-skill" with updates such as Smart Cooldowns for supplies and self-damage for Twins. -
Actually, this has already been in the game for many years, we just know him as @FrozenRailgun

They released their best update in January of this year. You can now get a free container once every 22 hours without even having to do anything. All you need to do is log on and claim it in the containers page. -
Why is ricochet and hornet so weak compared with other turrets and hulls?
Tanker-Arthur replied to raze_avenger in Archive
Ricochet isn't weak at all...... Gauss, Magnum, Vulcan with Heat Immunity, and Shaft are too OP. As for Hornet, it's only weak because it's overdrive allows teammates to easily steal it's kills. -
Yeah they definitely need to remove those effects. I guess the developers thought that jumping several stories high (while able to maneuver through the air as if you're superman) and easily farming 1000 crystals whenever Golds drop isn't "Godmode" enough XD

Honestly, to me, the HD skin looks like it has more detail than the Ultra skin, and the HD skin looks like it's more armored than Ultra (HD has more silver plates) Also, the headlights look more high-tech than the headlights of the Ultra skin, and I love that they gave Hunter some cool looking thrusters on the back. Ultra (I know it's an HD Prime skin) looks like what if they made a reworked, HD version of the Hunter M1 or M2 skin. Also, I think Prime skins are less flashy than the default and XT skins, so this opinion also affects my approval of Hunter HD over Hunter Ultra. -
I would say "congratulations" but I don't recognize any of the names from the English forum.

It's Amazing!!! Way better than any of the Ultra Skins and Hornet HD in my opinion. Did you make this or is it a thing the developers did (Test Server)? Edit: nevermind, just went on the test server XD -
Yes, but Double Damage makes it far easier. Booster and Crisis drones also factor in as well :( It's because Railgun is....."dependable". Shaft loses mobility while it's sniping, and thus someone can easily sneak up on you to kill you. Magnum takes time to aim, and newer Magnum users tend to miss much of their shots. Gauss is OP, but Railgun has it's own gamemode........ Striker is pretty balanced for matchmaking lol. Most people just don't know to use it properly. Also, people tend to get scared of Striker lasers, which is why no matter how much you buff Striker, it will always underperform because all enemies tend to do the following: Move out of the way of the laser Shoot Strikers first to prevent being wiped out instantly Striker isn't "bad", it's only "bad" because people's brains fear it and thus they'll do anything they can to prevent being shot by a Striker salvo. It's basically the new Fear Machine lol. Also, the Mk8 Striker is far better than the Mk1 Striker because of the big reduction in lock-on time. Lol, Shaft used to not have a laser XD Agreed. But I still think it needs something to be done so it will be easier for the players to "know" a Gauss is aiming on them.

My first post ever on this forum :D My goodness, this is so outdated....... Lets update this, shall we? "Love Firebird. I can destroy multiple enemies at once if I'm not already snipped away by Gauss. I can also destroy those who have already destroyed me if they happen to be one of the few people that don't use Heat Immunity. The burning effect is extremely high whenever I do get the chance to apply it (300 per second is hella good, but unfortunately Heat Immunity is a thing). I use it with Hunter, obliterating all Wasps and Hornets in my path if they don't manage to drop nukes or pierce my armor."

Control Points is the gamemode that you can best rely on to give the most points, no matter what. However, if you have the Mechanic or Supplier drone, than Siege mode will be the best, regardless whether or not your team wins or loses :)

I estimate about 30 people who "regularly" use the forum lol. And another 100 or so that only post once a month or whenever a new update comes out. That's not counting the truly inactive users.

The "Allows tanker to heal more than one ally at once" should be a seperate alteration on it's own :)

Actually Striker is pretty balanced in the higher ranks....it just "sucks" because most of the maps are huge, and the main turrets that are dominating (aka, way too OP) right now are Gauss, Magnum, Shaft, and Vulcan (with Heat Immunity). In battles where the aforementioned turrets aren't used a lot (and where people don't tend to use too many Defender drones and Hoppers), I managed to do very decently, sometimes dominating with Striker lol. Overall, Striker is "balanced", but it just takes the most skill to use out of all the turrets. It's arcade shots are basically an alteration of Thunder - less accuracy but faster reload. People just like using easier turrets like Smoky, Thunder, Gauss, and Infinite ammo Vulcan, or the OP equipment like Gauss and Hopper :( Yeah, I said that in my post. Yes, it's annoying, but Gauss has so many more things that make it outclass Shaft.... With double damage, Gauss can one-shot a huge group of unarmoed enemies (mainly happens in the low ranks) Gauss can't go immobile like Shaft can Gauss has a faster rotation speed, whereas Shaft has limited visibility and a slow rotation speed while sniping. Overall, Gauss is the noobier turret. Probably cause if you use it, you're considered a pro due to how noob using Gauss is. It's most likely because for 10 years (2009-2019), it was technically the easiest to use long-ranged turret. After a decade, a large amount of players have bought it because it fills the role of a versatile long-ranged fighter, as Shaft had immobility and Magnum was a pain to use unless you practiced for a while and got skilled with it. Also, compared to Railgun, Magnum and Shaft are relatively newer and thus people have more skill with Railgun especially if they are veteran players who used the turret for many many years. Also, because of things like xp/bp and Esports, making Railgun super popular. Technically, it's still the easiest to use long-ranged turret today (as Gauss requires a lock-on to fire), but Gauss just provides so much value for it's sniping shots - Accurate shots that do massive damage and huge splash radius, as well as a huge impact force. Thunder can do it too.....but Gauss has.... Longer effective range. One shot is all it takes for Gauss. Thunder requires two or three hits to destroy most hulls. Better splash radius.
-
True, but unlike Gauss, Railgun is hindered by two things: Relatively low damage for a long range turret Players can time their shots to knock the Railgun's aim off while the Railgun is warming up (Smoky is very effective at this). Unlike Gauss, which has 2 seconds of aiming recovery time in case someone knocks you off your aim, once a Railgun charges up, there is no way to stall the shot to get a proper aim. True......but you can't if the Gauss is on your side or behind you, where you're not looking at them. If a Shaft or Striker is behind or on your side, you know they are aiming at you due to the lasers.
-
Yes, but Gauss can shoot you and you won't even know they were aiming at you the whole time. Shaft and Striker have laser sights.....those lasers are a major, major hindrance to the turrets, as enemies can see the lasers and just easily hide behind walls and objects to prevent being 1-shot. It's even worse for Striker cause Striker requires you to keep aiming on the enemy for a large period of time before firing the salvo. Shaft can just hide the laser behind an obstacle and pop out when it needs to. Also, double damage with Gauss will take out medium hulls in 1 hit. Sure, this doesn't happen a lot in the high ranks, but in the low-mid ranks where everyone is new to the game and/or don't have/use too many supplies, a Gauss will single-handedly wreck the enemy team (like how my Gauss account does).

Bruh Day 4 is the easiest one XD
-
What makes it worse is that Gauss has no bright indicator used to show that it's sniping on ya. Shaft - Uses an easy to see laser sight Striker - Uses an easy to see laser sight Railgun - Turret glows so bright that you can see it all the way across the map Gauss:
-
At least Tesla has limited range. Gauss on the other hand has unlimited range :(

Same here XD Mine is still Mk1 Lol
