Where is Juggernaut Mode in Pro Battles?
Tanker-Arthur replied to Tanker-Arthur in Where is Juggernaut Mode in Pro Battles? Archive
So when we go to create a Pro Battle, we see this: We can apparently filter out battles to find Juggernaut ones...... (I believe Flash Tanki also had this too) But how come we can't create any Juggernaut Battles? -
You should use a longer-ranged turret like Thunder, Striker, or Railgun and get some easy kills lol.... Than, on late Saturday or on Sunday, that is when you start working on getting the kills with your short-ranged weapons. This is because by that time, most other people will have finished their missions already, and thus fewer people will be using Hammer, Twins, and Ricochet, leading to less people using Hammer, Twins, and Ricochet protections, allowing you to have an easier time with your own mission. *Unless you don't have time later on in the weekend, or if you already have an AP Augment for your Hammer/Twins/Ricochet*

What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?
Tanker-Arthur replied to Maf in Game Discussion
Another physic that doesn't make sense: Dictator is physically bigger than Titan, but Dictator only has the same hitpoints as the smallest Medium Hull, Viking ? -
Hello guys, as we all know, it is currently March. Which means the upcoming month is April. And we all know the first day of April is April Fools Day. Which means, an April Fools Joke is coming up soon...... If you're new to Tanki and you had no idea what I just said, then for many years, the developers announce a fake update around the late-March period. They won't reveal it's fake until April Fools Day has come and gone. In the past, we have had such "update pranks" such as: New Supplies, such as one that will allow your Tank to transform it's shape into anything nearby. Limited chat characters. Meaning, you can only type a certain number of letters and numbers in the in-game chats per month, before you run out and the game won't let you use the chat anymore.....unless you pay real money to "buy" more characters. "Official" Post: https://tankionline.com/en/2019/04/update-game-chat-system/ Ultra Juggernaut Mode - A gamemode very similar to Team Juggernaut, but where TWO people control the juggernaut at once; One player controls the hull, the other controls the turret. "Official" Post: https://tankionline.com/en/2020/03/new-juggernaut-mode/https://tankionline.com/en/2020/03/new-juggernaut-mode/ Of course, none of these were actually implemented into the game as they were all just for a good April Fools joke. If the developers are as predictable as we think they are, than it means we could be getting another prank dropped on us in the next two weeks.....or maybe they already did..... In fact, here is an "Update" that the developers have only announced recently, but they have not implemented it yet...... Removing damage spreads and adding a "Critical Damage" for most turrets, for example, Railgun and Thunder. Could it be an April Fools joke?

Maybe even an indoor pool with an artificial wave machine.

I think the knight's helmet is better than the sword, mainly cause it looks more humanoid, like the Queen, King, Bishop, and Pawn pieces XD I remember which is which simply by this: They are both the biggest pieces on the board. The King is the one with some sort of cross on his head lol. LOL Yeah the colored ones are also easier to differentiate in a game XD Oh yeah, the Queen is much, much, much, much, much more stronger and OP compared to the King. She's basically the Rook and Bishop combined. So...... #FemaleEmpowerment ? XD Haha, my middle school teacher had it too and he'd let us play with it during end-of-year exams.

For both white and black, I usually start by moving the pawns in front of my King, Queen, and Rooks forward. Then if my opponent doesn't show any signs of attacking, I move the pawns in front of my Knights forward to give my Bishops some place to move or escape in case I need them. Usually, when I'm black, I play a bit more defensively and I cover my Queen with one or two Bishops.

At first I liked it back in 2016, cause at the time I was a noob player and I just loved two things: Machine Guns and Homing Missile Launchers. Than I got frustrated with using the turret afterwards cause everyone would just run away from the laser. And now in 2020 and 2021, after much practice, I now love the turret, because it's probably one of the funnest and most challenging turrets to use, yet it's super satisfying when you do manage to get a kill. Oh, and no one seems to use Striker Protection Modules at all XD

The following is a notice to all players: DO NOT invest in Firebird Yes, it may seem like a nice turret at first, but by the time you start reaching the ranks of Brigadier and higher, you will notice that the turret is absolutely useless, and it's mainly for the following reasons: Half of the other turrets will get burning Augments. Thus, there is no reason to use Firebird when something like Railgun with Incendiary Rounds is basically the same thing but it has infinite range, and it can pierce through multiple enemies. Half of the players will be using Heat Immunity. And thus you're better off using something like Incendiary Rounds for Smoky or Railgun or a burning augment or alteration for any other turret because Firebird will be extremely weak against Heat Immunity, as much of Firebird's damage comes from the burning effect. So without the burning effect, Firebird deals way too little damage to combat anything much. However, Incendiary Rounds for Railgun, for example, simply adds a burning effect to Railgun. It doesn't reduce any initial damage at all. Therefore, you can use Railgun's Incendiary Rounds without worrying about Heat Immunity.

Actually, Mammoth is far superior to Titan. The reason why people use Titan so much is because they fear being killed by Mammoths. Just kidding -
Ahh yes, another reason why I should no longer use Firebird. #BurningStriker

LOL, it's always the friends who happen to be the noobs XD. My classmates way back then were noobs too :,) XD, I tend to lose when I'm playing online with a stranger, mainly because I don't really care about the game as much compared to when I'm playing with a friend or family member, thus when I play online against strangers, I don't think as hard as I normally do.

valid Suggestion For Striker HD
Tanker-Arthur replied to Tanker-Arthur in Suggestion For Striker HD Ideas and Suggestions
When the developers do manage to get to working on Striker HD in 2022, please make sure you guys keep this feature from the M3 skin: For me at least, it's a really cool design and I would hate to see it be removed. -
Ahh. I guess I don't do it too often cause i tend to utilize my Rooks early-game by moving them up after I move the Pawns above them.
-
I did my research, and it turns out the Rook symbolized a "Chariot" (Don't asky me why lol) It kinda makes sense though considering the Rook in chess travels in a straight line, like how a Chariot can charge straight into enemy battalions in a battle. The horse is actually called the "Knight" lol. So I'm guessing it symbolizes the horses that Knights tend to ride. And yes, I do agree the horse being used is out of place lol. In my opinion, they should've used a knight's helmet or something. I guess the reason why Rooks look like Castles and Knights look like Horses is because it just makes the pieces contrast each other so players won't get confused over which is which. LOL, this is actually something me and my brother joke about a lot. It's kinda racist when you know the official rules dictate that the team that always goes first and starts off the match is the white side. Luckily, in recent years, there have been chess piece sets that have strayed away from the black and white thing..... Many of them now use something like glass, and it becomes a "transparent team vs translucent team", as shown below:
-
XD, my mom taught me to never do that. In her opinion, it "traps" the King by making him closer to the corner.
-
It's actually called "Tower" in other languages lol. I just knew it as "Rook" cause that's the English name for it lol.
-
Yes, I love chess XD It's name is the "Rook" lol.

Wasp, Mammoth, and Hunter don't really count. You'd die from stuff like Gausses and Vulcans long before you can reach the Titan shield. Unless you drop in from a bridge above like in Yorkshire, or you somehow manage to sneak behind the enemy team, or if your team outnumber the people in the shield. They're only guaranteed to work if the Titan is alone in his shield. Otherwise, if he has 2 or more teammates with him, they can kill anyone coming their way. And unless the Ares managed to get in super close, anyone can simply dodge it's ball and after it passes, they can move back in the shield...... Also considering the three most popular hulls seem to be Viking, Hopper, and Titan, there really isn't much leeway for the remaining Hunters, Wasps, Mammoths, considering that they can get easy-killed by one-shotting Vikings or jump-strafing Hoppers. -

Tanker-Arthur replied to Ilia.ArchangeI in Ideas and Suggestions
Actually, Crusader's Overdrive is alright..... It's not the "least powerful", as it technically has infinite range......but it is the "least annoying" to the enemies (maybe Dictator is slightly less annoying). I like it cause unlike stuff like Hopper and Viking, it doesn't one-shot me or such. Like Dictator's Overdrive, Crusader gives everyone a chance to fight back, no matter what equipment they use, which is what I think all overdrives should be like. Unlike stuff like GodMode Titan Shields which need AP to counter, or Viking's OD which needs a Hopper or Titan to easily counter. -

Like what @Spy said.... Crusader is a hovering hull. This means that it doesn't have any traction with the ground under it, meaning it cannot "grab" the ground and stop it from recoiling backwards, while Viking and the rest of the normal, tracked hulls can "grab" the ground as they are touching the ground.....and the forces of friction will slow their recoil down. -
