It sounds like a problem within the game and/or its servers. However, this is not definite. Alternatively, you may be able to solve these problems by turning off all the game settings. Low FPS.

I suppose that Tanki Online are increasing amounts of traffic on their servers and the servers are not keeping up. This is a possible explanation. However if you want to play, don't try to play in a full server, such as RU1 and RU2. So you'll lag more and more. Try to play in a server where there is not a lot of players playing. Lastly, the developers are aware of the lag problems, and they have made a topic on here saying that they are trying to fix the problem as soon as possible.
