Wow...that explains no ability to log in at all. This (along with most holiday weeks) is a time I normally play much more Tanki and make progress. However, I have not been able to enter anything for a few days now. Glad to know (after deleting my browser, redownloading, etc.) it is not only impacting me. Hope this gets sorted quickly.

Yes...it's been 4 or so hours and can't get into a battle... I did load up and enter the garage however. But when entering a battle it seems fine, then voila the "restart" button pops up. Very disappointing.

Is there any data on the most common protections used at legend level? Just curious.

Since the last restart of the server the gyroscope on vulcan is not working the same way. There is no mention of this in the webpatch update, but it is unusable at this point. Not sure what has been changed but wanted to let you all know. The account I use vulcan primarily on is schleiermacher (not enri_chill).

The SBE only impacts the minimum damage from scoped shots. It elevates the bottom damage without increasing the max damage. Don't know if that answers it or not. I use SBE on the shaft and it is a formidable weapon at range simply using arcade shots...double damage on critical damage eliminates light hulls and often medium hulls who have been hit prior to the critical shot. If you have the crisis drone you will find lots of kills (or booster drone) at all ranges. I love the game play with it, but rarely do I use it scoped. Since they nerfed the reload time on scoped shots it wrecks the fun of the turret IMO.

Yes, I have ensured several siege battles with well-timed hunter OD. Just keep head on a swivel and know that if a team has 2-3 Ares you will need to wait till you have almost captured the point to choose to use the OD. I have wiped out an early Ares ball of death and we were hit with another one 5-10 seconds later and never captured the point. It is a great feeling to "boss" the best OD with the hunter's OD. It is a defensive juggernaut with some offensive capabilities. Versatile once again.

I have been unable to join a battle after the one I was playing in was freezing up...tanks not taking or giving damage...siege points not active...supplies timing out but not reactivating. Tried to restart, but been 20 minutes. Is there a server down or something?

I prefer not to overstate stuff since everyone's perspectives are...well...subject to their value systems and opinions. So yes, "a bit" was understated.

Is the pulsar augment worth having? Just saw it on a thunder.

Just split a battle between the sledgehammer and small caliber on a medium board and you are right. I was about 1.5 k/d on the scc and 2.4 on sledge. I don't have a fully maxed booster drone, so I was using defender. If I did use the booster, you could definitely see how it could dominate.

Great video. Certainly impressive. I wonder why there were next to no protections for thunder? I've been facing more it seems. I guess when it got buffed a bit more people are suiting up with it.

So by my calculations, you have to be within 0-16 m for max damage...anything further is minimum (or 371.25 with Sledgehammer). With the normal shooting rate of 2 seconds per shot it seems that on a large board (which I tend to get placed into 9 times out of 10) it is at a supreme disadvantage to the SCCM due to 3 items: rate of fire, no critical damage, and range of max damage being reduced to only melee range. Help me see the benefit on a normal map. Also perhaps you can let me know what hull you pair it with. I have been using hunter and then setting protections on midrange of longrange turrets. Use the OD when facing melee range turrets.

I've been playing with the small caliber charging machine and doing really well with it. If there are lots of protections, the critical damage actually makes it usable still. What I have found is helpful is the 1.5 second shot rate. Facing light hulls with skilled turrets (railgun, smoky, etc.) it is able to disrupt their shot enough to be very usable. The splash damage is a bonus when I miss or choose to hit behind hidden enemies while they are waiting for a charge. Overall, it is very playable at the higher ranks.

That was my augment of choice for years...the only real negative was the rate of fire. I haven't used it on my new account, but someone said there is less penalty now. Is that true?
