absolutely not true. the contrary is more likely, since the experience in eSports in general is what is sought after. though the chances of having to leave the present clan is 100% if applying for eSports Official position funny how people with generally ok karma overthink the severity of their karma and people with really bad ones think they're clean :p though in your case it might have to do more with how recently you joined the game and eSports scene and how much you're already familiar with it and so on

Following the feedback we received from our first tournament in a long long time, we definitely will be making some more and start a new championship for our top clans. For that we need some extra hands to help in various positions. Moderators, Tournament Officials, Reporters, Commentators and Live Broadcasters. Vacancies exists for every single one of them, but there's limited places available and the standards are rather high. However don't let that keep you down, if you really want to help, send in your application and we'll check it out and get back to you if you're selected. To apply go to eSports Helpers section and read the Application Rules for information on how to make a successful application. If you think you can be of help in other ways then make a post in there and describe how you propose to do that. Best of luck to every applicants.

Match breakdown : @Lankbouv's analysis Round 1 was rather a dull round in general, and was played in Barda. Both teams seemed to be testing each other out, trying to see how the other would react to minor advances on their bases. For roughly the first 4 minutes nothing at all happened, both sides picked up and subsequently wasted several drop boxes in futile efforts to gain some ground. The first real action occurred around 6:00 when I.Shomaa could well have captured should he have possessed the skill of driving around a corpse instead of trying to push his way past. Merely a minute later, I.Shomaa took the flag again, having more success this time, but by the time he had returned to his base, PSYCHOS had nipped ARCADE's flag away, hence resulting in a stand-off which lasted a huge 4 and a half minutes. During this time, both ARCADE and PSYCHOS survived withering assaults on their flag bearers, until, with a minute to go advokatee's persistence allowed him to return and ARCADE made it 1-0, which ended up being the final score of a rather strange round. The second round started with both Clap_Per and S_E_N_T_E_X picking up DA's and nitro's. Not surprisingly, though, they were ineffective in allowing PSYCHOS to breach ARCADE's defence. Despite this, PSYCHOS kept up heavy pressure on ARCADE for the first 4 minutes and were rewarded with a capture making it 1-0. However, this lead did not last long, as ARCADE inevitably applied some pressure themselves and advokatee succeeded in capturing an equalizer for ARCADE, 1-1, backed up by some admirable play from UDJIK. Then, seconds later UDJIK, and utilising the speed of his wasp, brought the flag back to his base, unfortunately not on time to capture before PSYCHOS had countered and a flag stand-off ensued once more. This time, in contrast to the previous round, PSYCHOS were determined not to lose a second stand-off, backing this up with a return of their flag and a capture making it 2-1 to them with precisely 2 minutes remaining on the clock. Once more though, UDJIK's speed proved the turning point in the round, as he whizzed another flag around to his base, allowing his hunters to capture, 2-2. It was at this point, with 1 minute remaining, that the round started to hot up, enabling UDJIK to cap off a remarkable round for him with some skilled wasp playing, by once more picking up PSYCHOS' flag and delivering it to his base in mere seconds. ARCADE came away winning the round 3-2, after having turned it around in a spectacular fashion, almost entirely down to UDJIK's speed which prevented PSYCHOS doing a counter attack to respond to their own flag being taken. Two rounds gone, 2 wins for ARCADE, and it was clear that ARCADE had bested PSYCHOS in Barda, however, with the third round, came a new map, the notoriously exciting Forest. Both sides equipped two Prodigi's which, no doubt would be the main target for either side's smoky's. The round itself started in a typically energetic fashion. S_E_N_T_E_X and Muctep_Kpa6c (Mister Krabs) both got forward early on, equipped with drops and captured swiftly. This was mainly due to I.Shomaa's decision to not shoot the flag carrier, but instead the hunter behind him, allowing the faster hornet, who was carrying the flag, to capture. Seconds later, both flags were in play, with a short-lived stand-off following on, which ended up with some good play by Only_Win to secure the return, allowing his team-mates to level the score. It is important to note at this point, that A_R_A_K_E_L_Y_A_N had been playing extremely well all match, but it was in Forest that he was completely at home. The number of times he made the opposition miss was astounding. He was a completely different guy to the poor player who had been trampled over by PSYCHOS previously and he was clearly looking for revenge. His stylish play held PSYCHOS at bay for several minutes in yet another stand-off which resulted, surprisingly in PSYCHOS capturing mainly due to a huge mistake by You_aLways_Iose who had replaced PARD seconds earlier. It was not a good way to mark your arrival, with PSYCHOS making the score 2-1. Shortly after this, a mini stand-off ensued again, and just in the nick of time, I.shomaa returned his flag after remaining unnoticed in the PSYCHOS base, allowing advokatee to capture, making the final score 2-2. As the fourth round began, ARCADE were 2-0 up so it was looking pretty good for them. The round itself started in a peculiar fashion, with I.Shomaa being replaced by gangstachel after a minute, with no obvious reason available to spectators. Gangstachel hardly got off to a brilliant start either, missing his first shot, which allowed S_E_N_T_E_X to capture the first flag making it 1-0 to PSYCHOS. Seconds later a long stand-off began, with neither side looking particularly committed to it. Despite this, it lasted quite a while until gangstachel returned, allowing advokatee to completely outwit his opponent and capture. The rest of the game, however, was a shambles for ARCADE. Somehow, PSYCHOS managed to capture 3 more flags, with players such as UDJIK and Only_Win making huge mistakes in amongst it all. The final score of the round was 4-1, not what anyone expected, given what had happened in the previous rounds. The fifth round was to be played in Kungur, a map notorious for its quickly changing game tempo. For ARCADE, A_R_A_K_E_L_Y_A_N, the smoky, was defending in the blue base, a particularly good thing to do, as I myself have experienced when playing with my clan. The round got off to a typically dull start, however, with Muctep_Kpa6c picking up, and wasting, drops several times. In fact, if you're ever looking for a masterclass in how to waste drops, the first 5 minutes of round 5 would be ideal. Finally however, S_E_N_T_E_X and Muctep_Kpa6c made good use of DA's about 6 minutes into the round, bringing ARCADE's flag round for capture. ARCADE didn't take that lying down, however, A_R_A_K_E_L_Y_A_N picked up a Double Power, and with that to aid him, killed 3 hunters in lethal style and ARCADE equalized in flag captures, 1-1. Minutes later, A_R_A_K_E_L_Y_A_N again, who was having a dream round captured a second flag in just as many minutes meaning that to stay in the StarSeries, PSYCHOS would have to capture another flag. And...in the true nature of the game, PSYCHOS pulled it off, capturing within seconds of the end of the game, and keeping commentator Arabiannoble's hopes of a Penalty round alive. So, going into potentially the last round of the game, ARCADE were 2-1 up. PSYCHOS had to win, otherwise they would be out. If they did win, there would be a 5 flag Penalty round in sandbox, which many people had been craving for throughout the finals. Merely 3 minutes into the sixth round, a flag stand-off had already began. Perhaps the pivotal point in the entire round was You_Always_Iose's spectacular failure to return his flag. Then, another error occurred by ARCADE, this time the previously impeccable A_R_A_K_E_L_Y_A_N was at fault, bizarrely running out of cover, getting shot, and allowing PSYCHOS to return and capture, 1-0. The rest of the round, much like the fourth round was utter destruction. The final score of 5-1 to PSYCHOS was completely deserved, thanks to fluid attacking from S_E_N_T_E_X and Muctep_Kpa6c throughout the round. What happened to ARCADE though, for them to concede such a crushing defeat no one knows, but what we did know was that there would be, for the first time in StarLadder history, a Penalty round. THE PENALTY ROUND: Annihilation. The first-to-5 flag Sandbox penalty round can only be described using that word. 5-0 to ARCADE the final score of the round, with PSYCHOS barely taking their opponents flags through the short exchange. It was clear for all to see, that ARCADE were better in Sandbox. A_R_A_K_E_L_Y_A_N had a field day, knocking 12 aims off in the whole round, and kill over 3 times the number of people as anyone on the battlefield. kirill.132 in contrast, looked like he had never used a smoky before in his life. All in all, PSYCHOS will hope they never have to see the map sandbox ever again, as ARCADE advanced to the SuperFinal with a spring in their step having washed away the memories of their plight in Kungur. -

Match breakdown : @Shalamer's analysis Before the match even started, I secretly hoped that the teams would end up in a penalty round. Especially after seeing ARCADE in Sandbox against PSYCHOS, I wanted to see an action-full, fast paced, suspenseful battle. The first round was, to my disappointment, extremely slow paced. Barda, as it happens, is quite transparent so there isn't too much action going on most of time. However, when the teams started to play on Forest, things changed very quickly. Considering that, according to the Russian Commentators, this is only the second time ARCADE has played on Forest in a Star Series Final, they did a remarkable job. I have to say, though, that GGWP were very well prepared, probably after watching the dominating Forest rounds between ARCADE and ALL IN the previous days. If in the first two Barda rounds ARCADE was playing defense, they were all-out attacking in Forest. With UDJIK’s Wasp, A_R_A_K_A_L_Y_A_N’s Smokey, and PARD’s Hunter, the team managed to have a very well balanced line-up. What I did not expect, however, was I.Shomaa’s courage. I want to emphasize how important the role of a Captain really is. Not only in arranging, organizing, and coordinating battles, they also hold a special part in the team, so that when they are absent, the difference is immediately noticeable, as was the case in the second Kungur round. I really think that if I.Shomaa were not in the Forest battles, the championship would belong to another team. I was shocked by his, what I would see as, bold and careless manoeuvres, but if you really think about it, that kind of non-standard playing is what makes ARCADE what they are – champions. Taking risks is key to winning if you are up against opponents who are equally strong. And GGWP were definitely showing champion material. The first round of Red Alert was so on point for GGWP, and they managed to successfully attack and defend simultaneously, which is more than can be said for ARCADE’s first round performance. I also noticed that GGWP were very on-target in this match. They were focused on the task at hand and were not getting distracted. Whereas the ARCADE players were often dribbling and, quite often actually, bumping into craters and walls, the GGWP players made sure that every little detail, task, and order was carried out to perfection. That’s why I really think that it’s ARCADE’s boldness that brought them victory. GGWP was very careful when capturing flags, always making sure to go behind the house, or around the hill. ARCADE, quite often, was not. Jumping off of the hill, cutting corners, taking the longer route. Often they would pay for it, by losing a flag, or getting flipped over, but more often than not, their risk-taking strategy ensured success more than it did mistakes. In essence, I don’t think I’ve seen a better match than the one that was put on today by ARCADE and GGWP. Honestly, I was not expecting GGWP to do so well in some rounds, and be able to recover in nearly each round the way they did. In the end, nonetheless, the best team won, and maybe that team wasn't strictly the “best”, in dictionary terms, but their choices and team play were spot on, and they are, once again, the champions of the Star Series. -

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXHG2ByoYKg In the beginning of the first round GGWP captured a fast flag, after which both flags got taken. A GGWP player accidentally killed his teammate and ARCADE used the chance to return their flag and capture the enemy one. The next round started with two captures by GGWP. After those ARCADE managed to capture two, and GGWP took their flag before they could capture the third one. Luckily for GGWP, the third capture was not late and after that both teams captured one flag each. The third round in Forest was intense. After seven minutes of fighting ARCADE finally managed to capture the first flag in the round and very soon captures one more. In the last second GGWP captued a flag, but that was not enough to change the outcome of the round. The fourth round was won by ARCADE with a crushing 4:1 score. The fifth round started with a capture by ARCADE. After this they captured two more flags and GGWP captured one. The fifth round was won by ARCADE - 3:2. The sixth round started with no successful attacks at all, but in the last minutes both teams have managed to capture a flag, resulting in a tie in the round - 1:1. The seventh round in Red Alert was the last round of the match. ARCADE won the superfinal, once again proving that they are the champions of the game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTLEF0yuYRg First round started in Barda. Just two minutes after the start PSYCHOS were about to capture ARCADE's flag, but ARCADE manages to return the flag. In the last minute ARCADE captures a flag, which was going to be the only flag captured. In the next round PSYCHOS captured two flags, while ARCADE managed to capture three. The third round started in Forest, where the teams captured two flags each resulting in a tie. The fourth round was won by PSYCHOS, making the match score 2:1. The fifth round, which started in Kungur, was tied, meaning PSYCHOS had one more chance. And PSYCHOS DID use the chance! The 6th round was won by PSYCHOS, sending both of the teams to play a penalty round for the first time ever in Tanki SLTV history! The penalty round was won by ARCADE. PSYCHOS leaves with the Bronze Paint and a 3rd place Prize of $5000 Final Score:- ARCADE 2 : 2 PSYCHOS Penalty Round:- ARCADE 5 : 0 PSYCHOS Match Log : [Time in UTC] -

Match breakdown : @GoldRock's analysis The first round of the match took place in Bridges, and both GGWP and PSYCHOS started off in a somewhat cautious manner. It was nearly 3 minutes into the round before the first real offensive attempts, with GGWP not really getting anywhere but showing good co-ordination in halting PSYCHOS' simultaneous offensive and then controlling the centre island. It looked like GGWP were the side with tighter communication, coming close to capturing twice - yet PSYCHOS were able to pull off some effective counter-offensives and return the flag both times in GGWP's own base. The round ended with ilmo12 running out of time despite an excellent solo run across the map - 5 more seconds could well have seen a PSYCHOS capture. " On face value, GGWP looked like the more experienced and dynamic side, but the energetic style that PSYCHOS have become known for meant that GGWP failed to dominate the drop zones. A subtle factor, but one which really limited GGWP's potential here. " As Round 2 commenced, PSYCHOS made an effort to control the terrain. They demonstrated some outstanding teamwork in a capture involving the flag being carried across two bridges and very nearly being returned twice. But then GGWP capitalised on their moment of success, and Aguer-o counter-captured alone and largely untroubled. At this stage, both sides look very evenly matched; and then GGWP took control of the 'non-flag' corner of PSYCHOS' base, forcing the PSYCHOS defenders to deal with the distraction created and leaving the centre island deserted. GGWP then pulled off two successive captures, making use of the drop zones they now controlled. At the very end of the round, PSYCHOS re-took the central island... but it was too little, too late. " This round saw GGWP outperform PSYCHOS as they managed to establish their superiority in Bridges. In particular, their tactical innovation contributed to a solid victory, as they cleverly invaded seemingly minor areas of the map and caught PSYCHOS on the back foot. " The third round took place in Kungur, with PSYCHOS cleverly using the team chat to communicate that certain drops were due to fall at specific times. As a result, three drugged PSYCHOS attackers were able to take the flag back to their base... only to discover that GGWP had taken their own flag. This perceptive response meant that a flag stalemate soon ensued, with GGWP managing to return. However, an excellent cross-map shot by flag-holder Muctep_Kpa6c ( Mister_Krabs ) against the GGWP flag holder meant that PSYCHOS had enough time to escape with the GGWP flag once more, but a supported lutu was able to return it for the capture. Upon re-spawning, lutu was able to take advantage of the drop zones, and pulled off a second capture for GGWP from start to finish. A late counter-capture by PSYCHOS wasn't enough, and GGWP edged the round with a 2:1 scoreline. " At this point, the gameplay had really accelerated as both sides constantly pressed forwards. However, it was GGWP who held their nerve to capture twice from two counter-attacks, with PSYCHOS only capturing once from their own. " Round 4 started with both PSYCHOS and GGWP manipulating the falling times for drops this time. In fact, PSYCHOS got half-way back to their base with the GGWP flag through what seemed a pre-determined route before GGWP managed to return. Just as a full-supplies Aguer-o carried the PSYCHOS flag back to base and PSYCHOS counter-attack, the whole server lagged; after the lag stopped, GGWP were easily able to capture against a disoriented PSYCHOS. The referee ordered the round to be replayed... and the server lagged out once more. A decision was made to reset the eSports server and try again, yet this also failed - and it became clear that Rounds 4, 5 and 6 would have to be postponed. The remaining rounds took place at 16:00 UTC the following day. Both sides got off to a slow start in Round 4 with GGWP (blue) playing a full defensive line... until drops started falling across the map, at which point they invaded the red base only to face an equally-well-supplied PSYCHOS defence. With less than 4 minutes left on the timer, GGWP finally broke through the PSYCHOS defence, and with the help of a supplies-fuelled run were able to pull off a fairly untroubled capture. However, PSYCHOS were then able to go onto assault a weakened GGWP defence with a drugged offensive wave. When GGWP made off with their own flag, they began a rapid flowing chase involving both their attackers and defenders, and were able to return and equalise with less than 10 seconds of the round remaining. " Here, GGWP made use of consolidated defensive positions to take drops at the crucial moments. However, a moment of weakness led to an unforgiving PSYCHOS comeback... and PSYCHOS' outstanding communication and awareness broke down GGWP under the pressure. " The fifth round began with GGWP taking advantage of Barda's more open blue side. Straight away, they took out the PSYCHOS smoky with some well-placed shots. KOT-9 was then able to zoom past a weakened PSYCHOS defence with a Wasp and nitro, leading to a capture before PSYCHOS had any time to react. The PSYCHOS players soon went on the counter-offensive - eventually, GGWP taking the flag allowed PSYCHOS to counter-take, and a flag stalemate ensued. Taking advantage of the drops, GGWP were able to return and capture once more without much opposition. A second flag stalemate followed, but Aguer-o pulled off a stunning double shot to return with his Hunter and double armour/nitro soon after. However, PSYCHOS responded faster this time, counter-taking and returning... just as the timer ran out. " This last round saw a clear 2-0 GGWP victory. PSYCHOS often lacked both the time and energy to put together counter-offensives fast enough, resulting in GGWP being rewarded for their perceptive tactical play. And with the match ending on a 3-0 scoreline in rounds to GGWP, it's fair to say that altogether, PSYCHOS' valiant efforts just weren't consistent enough when faced with a more dynamic GGWP. " -

Match breakdown : @Shalamer's analysis This was what many started to call the “redemption” game as the match would determine which team deserves a second chance. Round 1 started off in Barda, with ARCADE on the Blue side deciding to play with a more defensive setup, with 3 Hunters and 2 players with Digital paint, not something one often sees in an ARCADE line-up. On the other side ALL IN too had similar safe-game attitude with at least 3 players on the defensive at all times. With that neither team was able to carry a flag away more than a few meters. In minute 3 both teams snatched the flag and for the rest of the match would attempt to return and cap, but neither team was able to do so successfully. In essence, the match was extremely slow paced with players from both teams constantly flipping, and, at one point, ALL IN’s Oskar lagged out and fell into a hole. Definitely not the way to start a match that would determine the fates of the teams. Round 2 was, unfortunately, just as slow paced, with both teams placing more emphasis on defense. ARCADE showed a little more of their aggressive side, but not enough to make a significant difference. UDJIK and his legendary Wasp skills were able to create quite a few exciting moments. ALL IN created some interesting moments as well, however, the team was not able to control the drops as well as their opponents. ARCADE’s conference was disorganized and, shockingly, panicky, which is not the ARCADE we are accustomed to. No one seemed to know what either team was waiting for. Round 3 was played on Forest, a map that ARCADE has rarely, if ever, had a match in any of the star series. If round 1 and 2 were slow paced, round 3 was anything but that! ARCADE starts off with 1 Hunter and 2 Wasps, whereas ALL IN decides to go all-Hornet. ARCADE takes the first flag within the first 30 seconds, and caps within the minute. ALL IN has a couple of attempts at snatching the enemy flag, but to no avail. UDJIK’s Wasp begins to really come into play here, and after the third flag, we finally get a glimpse of the dominating, aggressive gameplay that has become so characteristic of the team. Pard, especially, on Hunter was able to keep the ALL IN attackers at bay on multiple occasions, with perfect timing and well-aimed shots. The final score was 6-0, which meant that ALL IN was also in a morally unstable state for the next round. Round 4: Yet another fast paced match with flags being taken and captured from all sides this time. ARCADE dominates at first, with a 4-2 lead. ARCADE’s communication is now more organized and well-rounded with no hyperactivity or panic going on. Shockingly, nonetheless, during the last minute of the match, in a series of organized and well-timed attacks ALL IN manages to capture two more flags and tie the score 4-4 in what was by far the most intense last minutes of a game ever, capping the fourth flag on the very last second ! Round 5: Red Alert is usually a map dominated by ARCADE, however, ARCADE was not able to control the drops as much as their opponents were, which resulted in an unexpected round loss as a result. The first few minutes commenced with the classic bombarding from ARCADE, who was playing on the blue side, and they managed to capture the first two flags in the first couple of minutes. When trying to attack after that, ALL IN’s defense was so intense that ARCADE was not able to capture a single flag for the rest of the game. Of note was Oskar whose defense gave his team the opportunity to make quite a few successful attacks, and also ended up on the top of the scoreboard. In the conference, ALL IN had excellent focus and concentration, as well as a calm atmosphere which created a winning environment. The round ended with the score of 3-2 in favour of ALL IN. Round 6: A round worthy of the final! Both teams understood what needed to be done and both teams were doing everything in their power to win the round. Interesting to note is that no player from any team really stood out in this round. The teamwork on both sides was outstanding, and when we listened to the conferences, the teams were communicating effectively with excellent coordination. ARCADE begins with furiously attacking the red base and successfully manages to capture the first flag. ALL IN is able to catch up with the score. Ultimately, however, ARCADE prevailed with a score of 3-1 in the round, and a final score of 2 – 1 in the match, with a chance to battle it out for a place in the superfinal against PSYCHOS, the very team that knocked them into the loser’s bracket in the first place! Overall, both teams did an incredible job with coordination and teamwork, but in the end, after 80 long minutes of play ALL IN cracked on the last round and exits with the the consolation prize, while ARCADE now have some immense preparation work both physically and mentally and will most likely be reviewing the tape of their previous encounter against PSYCHOS and ensure they close all tactical flaws this time
