I like that list, way better than my single suggestion of the gear, but @ any ideas yet as to how people will activate those emotions ? i can understand your disdain about club penguin which obviously doesn't cater about people of your age group or type, but you'd be amazed at how many things that children game has that could actually be of real use to tanki. And what sense of realism !?!!?!???? Dude I play this game because it is unreal, they even have a killing machine made out of a fridge and vaccum cleaner :blink: if that's a real thing then I quit right now !!

well i know its already written somewhere down in your notes, surely, but since i don't see anyone suggested it here already, it'd be good to have 1 such emotankions that'd actually inform people that that sitting tank over there is actually busy in the garage I also believe if such things are to be made, static objects won't convey the messages as well as moving objects. Taking the above scenario as an example, instead of having a little logo of a symbol or something indicating the player is busy in his garage, why not have a more conveying animation of a set of gears, like (well not exactly that, but you get the gist) hovering above the tank in a non-obstrusive way. I believe that's where you heading with this, right ?

oh heck no !! If you had a few years more on your counter and lived days where there wasn't just anime as sound-enabled animated televised comics you'd have known and appreciated the difference between the 2 types. I'm not saying this or that is better, they both have their merits, but you can't replace one with the other, ever !!

We didn't cry but I still clearly remember my cousin asking me mum why that other kid was crying, might have been you :p Funny enough, was chatting with someone the other day and was telling him how I'd go look for these old kids movies and series for my nephew when in a year or 2 cause seriously they don't make good stuff like this any more :(

You're judging the commentators for being bad, and we're equally judging you as well, and mate, unlike many other respectable chaps in here you really haven't shown anything or any level of anything that'd reach as near of causing an "hey we need to listen to this guy, there might be something worthy in his critics" effect in us, or any other members of staff, and quite a few of our large group of common friends on skype :) So stop hurting yourself ! yeah no, not gonna happen, specially not if Monsieur @Lankbouv in person tells me to change it because he thinks its wrong. I did not say winners aren't qualified for the job, nor did I say they do. I simply let the tony guy know that he personally does not for he is too young and we have a limit on minimum age we can accept. These kind of things will be reflected once we update the info about commentators and their application form, please bear with us. I got nothing to do with the previous contest, + funnily enough not as much to do with this one as you guys might think either. 3. Well you should do some, not for the crystals, but for the good fun :) I myself done a few in the past, only managed to get 2nd place in that one, and I remember back then quite a few of my friends and forumers were upset about the winner feeling he shouldn't have won for bla bla reasons. All I know and keep from that is it was good fun with great people I really enjoyed playing with and who are still regularly in contact with us 1 way or another even after some of them left the game. NO CRYSTAL PRIZES CAN BEAT THAT !!! 2. I hate the so called former "members of staff" for coining that word and making it stick !!! :angry: These guys you mention above are not staff !!!! They're like you. No different. Only thing is they choose to VOLUNTEER to help the community in various aspects. And that's why they're called Helpers of the project, not staff. And for that they get a weird looking avatar on the forum to help them in their volunteering, which btw is hideous. I mean look at mine !! That thing doesn't even have a face !!!!!! :mellow: Other than that all they get is a bunch of hate from some people for helping them very people out. That's all they get. There is no reason for these lovely people to not have very equal rights to take part in contests organised by tanki and win some.

^ absolutely not ! we're not changing opinions on who we feel should be winners or not. we're just changing rigidity of our minimum threshold for getting a consolation prize and making it a little more flexible after realising it was unfair from us to make it that rigid in the 1st place. ^ what I'm talking about here is a 0.5 point difference. That's practically nothing and "practically nothing" shouldn't bar someone from getting a consolation prize in a nice fun-for-all contest.

For those who followed the conversations since it started, Lank mentioned about "who are you to judge when we're you're yourselves complete noobs" and the reply he got was just a mere throwback of his own criticism approach applied to himself, i.e. "who are you to say that about the judges when you're yourself clearly no way more qualified or knowledgeable than them" Yes he does, no one's denying that, and I do particularly enjoy his critiques btw ;) See yellow part in my previous post. Why you ask? You answered it yourself in the green part ;) oh me still very sure m8 and not getting you wrong at all, just running out of colours to reply Sorry you feel that way. The only mark we missed was keeping a tough line for who gets a consolation prize and who doesn't, and that too has been rectified to not penalise Arabiannoble and DuckHonk for missing out by only a fraction of a point (0.5 to be precise). So don't be that harsh on them bro. Also already commented on how the entries were judged above, and no ! We aren't the kind who'd disqualify someone on the basis of him being a young lad, or discriminate by virtue of their lower in-game rank or their funny HAHA which you find annoying or their talking pace being too fast for you to understand. Besides we too can tell similar things about your video, which might hurt you actually, and that won't be nice at all. So please be considerate in your criticism about these other chaps Absolutely untrue !! Please see my previous post about that. We still care about your application and that of everyone who'd wish to apply for the commentator job. And you're welcome to keep doing so in a polite and civic manner :) Well you're right on that and its a failure on our part to not have made that clearer since the start. Apologies. The contest was not meant to be dedicated to recruit for the cybersport staff team, just a small even to let our players have some fun and express themselves in a commentator situation, with a possibility of an invitation for those who shined to join the official team, provided they qualified for it. Again apologies to all of you who interpreted it the other way due to our miscommunication.

Again, the contest is one thing, the real job is a separate thing. The contest wasn't meant to be and isn't going to be a recruiting method for official tankionline commentators. The staff team included a "get a chance to join the official commentating team" and that chance will only materialize if the staff team and the administration decide they've been sufficiently satisfied and convinced that the person will suit job well and at its discretion may invite the person to join the official commentating team. At no place in there was any mention of something of a "guaranteed staff position" The administration is still open to consider all applications made for the commentator position regardless of whether they won in here or not, whether they participated in here or not. So for all who want to join the commentator team, go to Helpers of the project section and apply there. Good Luck :)
