Hmm Thunder HD looks a bit TankiX inspired, but I like it a lot.

While I have received some legendary items, basically all of them were paints. UC's are not that bad because at least you get 3k crystals or something, but normal containers are very boring to open, to the point it almost feels not worth the time spent opening them...

I never heard anyone complain about that. Maybe the fact Ares is slightly taller and more stable, with the lightning ball traveling slower, compensates enough for it not to be an issue. I may be wrong though of course.

Maybe I'm misrepresenting him, but I don't think he criticized the buff itself, rather that the update promotes low skill gameplay, which may be disappointing even for those who had mastered the former Magnum mechanics.

What game mode are you playing? Can you post a screenshot? I'm definitely not going to defend the balance of Tanki MM, but honestly I haven't had such a bad experience as you are describing in a long time.

Assault mode simply has a flawed design, majority of matches there are decided before the game even begins, it should be completely reworked or removed IMO. CP on the other hand is quite enjoyable and balanced most of the time, similar with siege, CTF and RGB are a bit on the edge, but still quite fun unless the GS desparity is too big. With TJR it depends highly on the map, GS, team activity... so mostly It is a hit or miss kind of.

Take your time, the game owes you nothing. If you feel like once a month is what suits you right now, then so be it ? .

Wasn't it a holiday paint for the last year's Tanki Bday?

With the fact you can only switch once per battle, I´d prefer having 3 modules at the highest lvl possible, rather than all mediocre. As for the three modules, I´d go for Rico, Striker and Vulcan, but hammer is a worthy contender aswell. Alternatively, you could go for a compromise and upgrade 4-5modules, so neither all, nor only three.
