I am not sure why you think hiding behind something is lame. Maybe it is because you can't time the shot to hit them when they come out of hiding? Honestly though, desert is pretty much an open map. a few walls, but pretty wide open near the flags so just go shoot people there if actually using skill to hit targets when they come out from behind a wall is too much for you. Massacre? I mean absolutely no cover, one level. No hills, no cover whatsoever.

1. Irrefutable facts: This would be a game creation option to stop things like this 2. The Tanki way: It doesn't have to be this way. Options can be created to change this 3. Option 1: Good idea, but actually encourages more stacking 4. Option 2: Good idea, but doesn't address stacking as a whole 5. Who said anything about being reshuffled mid game? This is a feature to disallow joining a team due to imbalance. If someone quits on one side, the stacking feature would not allow for someone to join the opposing team until "balance" has been regained. 6. Friends and playing together: That is fine, you can play with your friends, just get in a game that does not have the anti-stack feature enabled on the game. You still have a choice to do all the things you want to do as you are not FORCED to join a game with this feature enabled. 7. Balance is a joke: I know, hence the reason I created an OPTION to make balance a possibility. Nobody else has at this point.

First, this would be an option, not a mandatory requirement. So if you are making a game and want it, check the box, simple. If you don't want it, don't check the box. You don't even need to name it "auto-balance" you can name it "anti-stack" 1. It is enforced when you attempt to join 2. No need to kick anyone, just don't allow someone to join a specific side if they offset the point scale beyond the distribution limit. They would be more than likely to join the other team though so nobody really gets excluded. 3. It is a system to stop people from leaving games, quitters make the game just as boring as stacking. Most people leave because of the stack. 4. I don't really care how many marshalls you've killed. It is not like you were one-on-one with them, because if it was, you would probably die at a 25:1 clip unless you bought some crystals and massively upgraded your weapons. 5. You are already not allowed to join games because of rank. So no need to change anything there. 6. If you have lower end equipment, you more than likely won't offset the battle. You more than likely will be able to join any side you wish. 7. Everyone will have an opportunity to join, just more than likely you won't have 5 M3 freezes and 4 M3 isidia against a bunch of M2 rails, and M2 twins. 8. This would actually benefit a player like you, so I have no idea why you seem to be so adamant against the idea. Honestly, what do I care, I have M3 rico, M2 freeze, M2 thunder and an M2 viking. This is all designed to make for more competitive games if people elect it in game start up.

I hope, in some way shape or form, Tankionline gets the "auto-balance" feature right in 2.0. Right now it is on a 1 for 1 player basis. In 2.0 I hope they get the foresight to change this to a weapon, hull and paint point system. Hear me out here on the logic. Stacking is becoming a huge issue in Tanki. I am guilty of it from time to time, but I try my best not to. So to combat this I think either the auto-balance feature, or some other feature should put a point value to each M-level of tank, and keep the balance via that system. I would not recommend that rank be used, because there is a huge gap between a lower rank player that has purchased crystals, and a person a couple of ranks higher that has not purchased any crystals. Ultimately each time could not be +/- a certain value based on those components. So one side could potentially fill up with lower ranks, and the higher tanks would have to deal with more enemies and use their skill and better weapons to win over the lower ranks. Anyway, just an idea to help balance games for those that desire to.

I don't use IE. I use Chrome or firefox depending on the mood. TBH, I can't remember the last time I used IE. Bottom line is I am having issues again that resemble the issues I was having prior to the optimization effort. I just wanted to point them out so they may be corrected.

Did all of the recommended steps, but all of the performance issues are back. Lots of connections lost, lots of connection errors, tons of lag. The problems are back again for sure. -

So I finally bit the bullet and became a paying customer with tanki. I purchased a healthy amount of crystals on a day I was awarded a double crystal card. Unfortunately 2pay.ru did not process it on the same date as my initial transaction. I was a little concerned so I sent in an email yesterday regarding an issue I was having with payment processing from 2pay.ru and my request to have the double crystals. They responded quickly and asked that I call back once the transaction had gone through. I sent another email following up as customer service with tanki has always been a good experience, and no response.........none at all. INcluded in the email were screenshots of the double crystal card AND the payment confirmation screen, time stamped within a minute of eachother. Could someone help me please? I sent a follow-up email asking them if they needed any more documentation from me. I am more than willing to call up customer service at 2pay.ru and have them send me something documenting my transaction time and that they made the error, not me. I would have never bought crystals this soon to the 2.0 release if they were not going to be doubled with that double crystal card. Just an acknowledgement that they received my email at this point would be nice. At this point I am just glad I was smart enough to take screen shots of the process in case anything happened. -
Stecky and Monkey Magic are clearly the class of this group of map makers. The rest of the maps look like they were conceived by a 5 year old with a set of architectual blocks. How we get these two to become map makers, they have some very good, and very well thought out ideas of both urban terrain and fantasy / themed settings.

SO I did a little research, and short of buying this thing, which I don't thing anyone wants to do we have some information. 1. Brad Steiger 2. A code 3. Now we need a cipher Just poking around the internet I have found some information on Steiger and his "purported" contact with aliens. Also found a connection between Steiger, his wife and a Dr. Paul Violette. Apparently they liked his book where he supposed helped decode Blue Pulsars. http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/universo/pulsars04.htm That's about it for me, anyone else have something? If I had to draw a conclusion at this point is that Brad Steiger is Crazy, Dr. Paul Violette is crazy, and you would be crazy for buying the blue sphere.

Cab, I think you just answered your own question here. While you try to claim you shoot M0 hornets first, most of the time you can't really delineate between M0's and M3's unless you are close enough to guage there speed. I don't think you care anyway, bottom line is max HP on a hornet is 100, Max HP on a viking is 150. I think we all know what unit is easier to kill. So quit whining and start dodging more bullets.

Hornet would be a killer hull if it wasn't for freeze and to a lesser extent rico. But I must admit, if I see a hornet with isidia or freeze mounted on it. I try to shoot it dead as quickly as possible. They just don't have the HP so it is an easy choice. PS. I rarely shoot the enemy right infront of me if he has a convoy of isidia's behind him.

Honestly I would like to see more maps where nitro drug use could be more of a detriment escaping. The more use of cover and "bottomless" edges the better IMO. Strategically speaking, I would like to see more maps that force the control of multiple bridges / tunnels to win the game. That was the original intent of my "Paris" map, to increase team play and strategic use of weaponry.

I was having these same problems prior to the Optimization effort. You may want to go through the exercise of clearing your cache on your flash player and your web browser and see if that has any positive effect.
