Husto, the only way this happens is if the freeze is within 15 meters of the freeze target. Freezes range is 20 meters, so unless there are exigent circumstances (ie a wall or team mate blocking your escape), then any competent freeze player will always win. So your scenario is only applicable if the range is less than or equal to 15 meters during the entire conflict. Otherwise your theory sucks.

This is an idea I have had for a while and have not voiced, good idea and great presentation.

I can run this game on any of the 4 browsers on my computer, firefox, opera, chrome and internet explorer. That is really not my issue nor the issue of most players here in this forum. The problem is lag-outs from games, which are becoming much more frequent, sad to say. Not sure if it is just US based players or not, but at this point it is starting to aggravate customers. UPDATE: After clearing my cache, I now have more problems. many more connection closed by server error messages.

I am going to have to call BS on this one Pin4. Just to make sure I did everything asked in the forum. Cleared my browsers cache, cleared the Flash Cache, Same results. Clearly this game is becoming LESS stable not MORE stable with each update. TO have the game degrade this much suggests issues on Tanki's side, not on every player that doesn't reside in the RU. At this point I would be quite happy with a roll back to the code 6 months ago, because while refactoring the existing code, they clearly created more issues than less. I guess at the end of the day, we'll see how much tanki wants to have its customers outside of Asia be happy. Clearly one donating customer is quite pissed or he would have never started the thread.

Good solution Monkey. Take them down to 1X heal on team mates (or maybe less) and boost CTF points to 3X on flag grabbers.

Clearly you don't understand the difference between agreeing and buttering. I made a statement saying I agreed with another players analysis, I didn't fawn all over him. Huge difference, and one you clearly don't get. Maybe in time you might figure it out.

The Mehdadoo: When facing head up on another rail gun, thunder, Smokey, etc. aim for one side of the opponent's tank to knock their shot off target. Then procede to kill them.

5 games this morning all on servers with less than 1000 players, 5 lag outs. A couple when I was in the points race with some decent crystal pay outs on the winning team. I spend more time playing for nothing nowadays, than I do earning crystals. Stability updates = crap

Why is it that M3 isidia's now seem to value XP and points over winning? That's right guys, almost all the good isidia players that used to heal the bigger stronger team mates to the flags have pretty much all moved onto tier 2 weapons (except a small few), and what is left is a whole new generation of players that just sits behind cover and heals up team mates to earn points. Good Isidia players are far and few between nowadays. It has gotten to the point that if there is a gaggle of camping isidia's that refuse to help in grabbing flags, i just switch sides. You know they aren't going anywhere, because they just want to heal team mates and get the crystal payoff. Sadly those guys rarely win. Also for some strange reason they heal up the weakest units, and absolutely ignore the team mates that can actually help win the game. Must be psychological, as they apparently think that they score more points with a full heal of M0 hornet with an M0 ricochet vs. healing the M3 mammoth with the M3 freeze. The end.

So I know what everyone is thinking here, another twins are overpowered rant. Alas it is not. This is a rant to all twins players that don't understand the following: Shooting a team mate with that constant stream of fire when they are trying to aim, or kill the enemy ticks them off. That is right twins players, time to finally realize that regardless of whether it is a friendly fire game or a non-friendly fire game, when you constantly shoot a stream of twins fire, the knock back EFFECTS YOUR TEAM MATES. I can't count how many times I have seen totally incompetent twins players firing into the back of competent rail gun team mates while they are trying to shoot. Either lead the charge, or change guns, because otherwise you are just p&ssing off your team mates. The end.

Fried polenta with a chorizo and shrimp tomato wine sauce. Made it myself. Added in a touch of Hot smoked paprika to kick it up a notch.

Too much =3 for you

Good idea, but it would be much more useful if it addressed cost as a factor.

Doesn't matter what server you are on, right now about 1 in every 2 games results in a lag out or a server connection closing. It used to be that 9 in every 10 games was great prior to all the new servers being added. Then it was about 1 in 5 games and even if you lagged out, it would sync back up. Albeit annoying sometimes because smart players would use the lag out to get to the flag :) Now you just lag out completely in both the game AND the server. Updates are making this game more unstable, not more reliable. On a side note, even just two weeks ago you could get on a server with around 1300 people on it and have the 1 in 5 games unplayable. After these last couple of updates, doesn't matter what the load on the server is, before long everyone starts spinning in circles and your stuck out of the points race.

I have posted this before in another thread ( http://forum.tankionline.com/posts/list/22596.page#448012 ) but here it goes again: Other than buying there is no real "easy" way, but there are some strategies that make it easier. 1. Join games early, 0-0 being ideal, but definitely not when each team has 5 or more flags. As a lower rank you have no chance at getting crystals. 2. If you join a game that is say 3-0, join the losing side, not the winning side. By joining the lower side you have more of a chance to grow your point value and gain crystals if you help them win. 3. Become efficient at your weapon / driving. Learn to simultaneously drive your tank and move your turret. The tutorial posted above in the link is actually very good so make sure you watch the videos. 4. Become efficient at using power ups, don't waste them. (EXAMPLE: Don't grab a nitro, and sit back, go for the flag) 5. Become efficient at passing up power ups. This is a VERY tough concept, but lets say you are ranked first by a large margin on your team and a couple of guys come in with faster/stronger tanks. Let them help you both win and stay on top of the rankings for crystals by letting them grab the power ups). How do you know where you are ranked? Hit the TAB key in game and you can figure out what to do. 6. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, Join games that are close to your rank. If you are a recruit, don't go join a game with Generals, Marshals and Lietenants. You will get your ass-kicked and gain nothing from it other than sitting still and shooting your gun from a long range. I am sure I can think of some other tips, but generally speaking these can work. *One other note, Ranking up and getting crystals are two independent items. People who are more effective at earning crystals WHILE they rank up tend to earn more crystals over tme than those that don't because they are upgrading their gear. Ultimately you have to pick and choose the games you get in to earn crystals effectively. You could level up all day, but if you don't have any currency to upgrade then you will be left behind.

I have seen several players above major who don't know how to operate their view, tank and turret independently of each other. There are many a crystal purchaser with fully upgraded tanks that have no clue what they are doing. I am with FSDFSDF when it comes to tankers, if you just buy all your crap you have no incentive to learn all of these things because you just over power like ranks and upper ranks. Sadly you put them in a game with other fully upgraded players and they are useless.
-
Not sure that makes us pro, but it surely means more money in my pocket. I am cool with that.
-
Wouldn't call myself elite, but I can hold my own for a non-crystal purchaser.
