Haven't had this issue in a while on Tanki since the performance problems that were addressed. On all of the new maps, I have trouble loading them when a server is almost or at Capacity. Screen goes grey and it never loads up. I have tried clearing both the browser and the Flash Cache with no change in the results. Problem does not exist on servers with low loads or on same high-load servers with previous maps. This happens both using the .SWF and the standard site.

Eh, it is ok. Cool concept Just wish the flags were halfway up the stairs instead of at the bottom. Might encourage more play on the castle walls.

Having an overflowing garage is one thing, the question is, do you know how to play? Because if you don't I would recommend mammoth a tier 2 protection paint and thunder. Stand back and shoot.

I don't mind it it goes through a wall, they should just reduce the damage just like with the rail when it hits multiple targets.

Learned a few things today from moderators and the best way to report Hackers. Once learning of a hacker you should do the following 1. Make sure you have screenshots of a) The hacker in the act b)Proof of name If they are Invisible or underground it will require at least 2 screenshots as you will not be able to see there names while they are in the act of shooting at you or grabbing the flag. I would recommend you install a quick capture tool that captures images in flash in your browser preference of choice that can grab more than one image, along with some quick editing functions of the photo, and quick upload. 2. Go to SERVER 1 as there is usually always a moderator on that channel and report BOTH the game link AND the name of the person HACKING. It makes it much easier for the Mod. 3. If the MOD can't go into the game due to lack of slots available, quickly process your screenshots and Post the links so the mod can view the evidence. It is always better if you can have both pieces of evidence as sometimes Mods can't get in a game and have their own visual proof.

It may or may not have been Hotwheel, but evidence exists that he has a despicable side that should not be welcome in a game that is supposed to encourage fair play. All 15 of people who posted requests for hacks should be held to the same standard. Push them back down to the bottom rung, and make them work back up again. Unless banning is the punishment, starting at zero is the only other punishment I can think of that would discourage cheating in any form, that includes someones INTENT to cheat as those are crimes that are also punishable. Hacking should be met with complete and total IP ban, cheating or the intent to cheat should be met with starting over at the beginning. Easy enough if you ask me.

Huh, the evidence is stacked against you Hotwheel. At this point I don't know why you are allowed to continue playing this game without the removal of all of your crystals, weapons and rank. Time for you to start over.

OR we can realize that there are limited resources both with Tanki as a business, its developers and with the number of moderators vs. amount of hackers currently in the game. Creating a militia until those resources can become available is a completely viable solution. It can be disbanded once a permanent solution can be created. Man, I thought everyone in here considered themselves both a tactician and a strategist. Apparently creativity is dead when it comes to winning battles. If this were an actual war, most of you would bend over and say you are outnumbered and sit around and wait for special forces to arrive. Each mod has more than enough relationships with people they can trust that they could bring at least 10 people into the program that would follow the rules of this program. Each one could manage its own group and be responsible for its actions. Essentially you could turn 10 into 100 over night and push back / pressure these individuals trying to take over the game. Unfortunately you think more about the height of the hurdle than you do just jumping over it or going around it to come to a viable solution. It really is not that hard people. 1000 ways to skin a cat. So for every problem you think is insurmountable, I can come up with a way to manage it (probably more than 1 way). There are naysayers, and those that don't see problems as insurmountable, what type of person are you?

Hackers hacking has nothing to do with the developers. Did they possibly overlook vulnerabilities yes, but they didn't read through the code and develop a way to cheat.

It doesn't have to be a permanent solution, sometimes militia's need to be organized during trying times and viral outbreaks. They disband when the threat is over. Think outside the box kool. At the very least it can be a temporary / 24 hour removal, and final full rights removal can be left up to the mods. Everyone removed must be posted to a list for review and I am sure game records can validate the removal. Most of the time they are low rank and have quadruple the point value of any of the other players 10 minutes into the game. Completely manageable.

Due to the MASSIVE increase in hackers joining the game, I think tanki may want to create a new solution. Many people in here, including myself, would be more than happy to volunteer for a restricted type of Moderation that only allows for the Removal of Hackers in-game. There are currently not enough mods to manage the problem, and not everyone wants to be a mod (like myself) but would like to see the game return to fair play. So if you decide to create a restricted mod that can provide this service to the community on behalf of tanki, please feel free to count me in, along with MonkeyMagic, who also volunteered. Not bad for your first ever production, nothing wrong with it Cablaz. As you get more skilled and use less of the stock components of base editors you will get better and better. As for content, it was more instructional than anything else, which can be boring in and of itself. Plus it essentially followed your progress with very little editing. If you want it to be step by step, just edit out the garbage in between and make it a 1,2,3 step video.

Yes I was surprised and here is why. They declared the version they pushed out for open use, Open BETA Testing and had hard dates set. Had they declared it such, I would not be as frustrated as I am right now as I spent down some crystals on both the Hard release date and the declaration that it was in OPEN BETA testing a month prior. I would have just stayed my course of gathering crystals for a higher end paint or an M3 viking but instead spent 8k on two paints under the misinformation supplied thinking it negligible upon the BETA release date. Also, in most of the FEEDBACK discussions, people were misled to believe that the LAG and disconnect issues were a product of the TESTING SERVER, NOT of the inferior product. Constantly the refrain was, "The Lag is a function of the servers." You can't connect because the servers load is limited and so on and so forth. Again, the customers perception of the product and the release date holding fast was reinforced, NOT diminished. More information to indicate that spending any crystals that this point would have ZERO ramifications due to the the 2.0 release perceptions on receiving all of your crystals back. So regardless of the date, they misled the consumer based on how they defined it and the feedback they provided during the process of testing. To be quite honest, I have NEVER seen a company take an OPEN BETA and not push it out on the date given once released for testing by the public, but I have seen companies create OPEN ALPHA situations to test their product on higher loads to get more accurate OPEN BETA release dates. Am I infuriated they didn't push out an inferior product, no. I am SIGNIFICANTLY frustrated on how they both defined and misled the customer on the status of their product for release, YES, YES I AM. It has impacted my 1.0 upgrade path at this point and left me at a significant disadvantage until they can create a release date with a viable product. I would just like to 1. See tanki acknowledge this AND 2. Recompensate those that made purchases due to their poor information and planning. Then all would be happy in Whosville again.

Another Tanki 2.0 Failure peace offering. Would just rather see it in 2.0, let's work on that first. Hope they don't OP it with OHKO capability. WOuld rather it just have the same HP specs but with the shoot through walls feature and maybe an impact shell. Rail + Thunder combo.

Kool, The reality is the only people that knew were the developers, NOT the users. It was a HARD date regardless of whether you want to believe it or not. Most people made a couple of purchases based on the Information provided. I think as a whole it would be a much better circumstance if 1. Your attitude was a little better and there was at least some empathy (which there was not) 2. You can look at it from the side of the Customer 3. Would be more willing to have this discussion with the developers listing the frustration that this date change has made and the resulting decisions made by consumers. Once the hard date came out prior to the OPEN ALPHA TESTING, people were underneath the illusion all currency would return on June 4th on Open Beta release. Quite a few customers had faith in that hard date and made some purchases underneath that premise. Well that didn't happen Kool, and your "sucks to be you" attitude just exacerbates the situation. The request in this thread was for customers to have a discussion with the developers, not Mods. We already have enough problems having conflict between the mods and general population in terms of attitude. At this point you are just perpetuating those issues. Please see my responses to the Ban thread and take a lesson in decorum. There are much more appropriate responses here, none of which you chose to use. I guess that is the risk when making exceptions, sometimes you get a handful of immaturity.

Purchases made with BAD information from the source would dictate a slightly more apologetic approach at the least. When choices are made based on promises from the very makers of the game, exceptions should be made. I find it very hard to swallow, but I find the "sucks to be you" attitude so distasteful I wouldn't even appreciate putting it in my mouth to chew because of the smell.

Can I get my last two purchases back? I bought Corrosion and Tundra paint thinking it wouldn't make much of a difference as the 2.0 conversion was about to happen. Could really use those 8000 crystals back as then I can at least by a better paint (my original plan) while waiting for 2.0 to be released. Anyone from tanki want to talk about this? Would have never have made these purchases knowing that this "hard" release date was going to be pushed back again. VERY FRUSTRATING
