Damage to price: Smokey M3 Smokey fully upgraded costs 420 Firebird fully upgraded costs 565 Difference is 145 cystals which is 5 crystals short of being the equivalent to a M2 Wasp upgrade. Puts more cash in your pocket once all your upgrades are complete. M3 damage is about the same range on smokey is much better Firebird can damage multiple targets at once Probably grab a few more flags with firebird but if you ask me, cash management is more critical in earlier ranks.

Out in the open and defending freeze wins hands down because it is 1. More powerful (32 HP) 2. Effective at creating space between units and itself with the freeze feature 3. Effective at killing multiple targets as it is not limited to attacking 1 unit at a time but I still think Isidia is a better weapon when it comes to strategic play within the team and flag grabbing because 1. It can heal units while they move forward into strategic positions 2. It can heal itself when going for flags giving it more "survivability" Drugged I would say it is a toss-up as drugged isidia's are pretty damn hard to take down because of the constant rehealing and freeze just kills everything in its path.

You know, M3 Mammoth is going to take people about 2 months to save up. If they play 2 hours a day, earning 50 crystals an hour. :| I think you need to check your math 50 crystals / hour * 2 hours = 100 crystals 100 crystals * 60 days = 6000 crystals. Going to take a whole lot more than 60 days at that rate to get an M3 Mammoth without a crystal purchase.

This is really not the point of my post. I am merely trying to say that if there is a seemingly hard and fast plan in place, people will make decisions based on that plan. Now that the date is constantly being pushed back, it is much harder for some that utilized the "risk free" purchase approach to gain crystals because they (the developers) could not hit their proposed deadlines. Is it the end of the world, definitely not. Is it a PIMA, sure is. Now I have to scratch and claw for crystals for a while at this rank whilst I wait for these guys to get a viable open beta version out to the tanki world.

I have no experience with mammoth other than playing against it, but there are some setups I don't like to see on the opposing side. mammoth with thunder is not excessively awesome IMO, but still an exceptional PITA. I personally hate seeing Mammoth with the M3 ricco or M3 freeze combo. The thunder units seem to be a little more reliant on the team to move forward, whereas the freeze and ricco units can just walk through the opposition. Mammoth with Ricco and freeze are also very effective flag grabbers when drugged, where the thunder mammoth can just be blocked by the opposition because it is so slow and the opposing team can use the guns self inflicting splash damage against itself. M3 Thunder on a viking or dictator is pretty nasty too. Units have the speed to move behind cover pretty quickly and wait for recharge, take a good amount of damage if necessary and work well as flag grabbers because of their speed/HP at M3.

As long as it had a significant cool down period I would be ok with this, just to avoid multiple dropping of the tactical insertion on the opposing flag position. Would make games much faster though, especially on larger maps and ones that have significant defensive capability like silence.
