Oh yeah, we definitely don't have a gamemode like that, especially ones that are called XB/BP, yeah, we don't got modes like that.

Now hear me out y'all... "Tanki Battle Royale Online"

Well, it was fun while it lasted. A game I've been playing for 10 years, is finally meeting its end.

@Spy I know it's against the rules, but can I suggest an idea to delete these paints? It's really unsatisfying when I get a country paint, rather than the other paints. I think most players would say the same. They just don't look that great and were apart of an event in the first place.

It's only a bad turret if you're not good at it, it's a good turret if you're good at it. That's what makes it balanced. There's not a lot of players who are actually good at it. Most people just give up on it. The only problem I currently see is that on M0, its reload is 5 seconds long. That's not a bad reload for a mortar type weapon, but at M4, its reload is 2 seconds long. Now, this wouldn't be a problem if all turrets decrease 60% reload at M4 from M0, but that's not the case. Normally, from M0-M4, reload decreases to about 25%, for all turrets. Which makes this a problem because a Magnum with high amount of damage could just shoot every 2 seconds. You wouldn't even have to be a long ranged turret. If you have the vertical rotation alt(Which shoulda been magnum's normal ability), you could just shoot with a 0 degree angle, and shoot your Magnum at max capacity, to give you a short to medium ranged shot. You could then just reload your turret in 2 seconds, then do it again. Magnum's M4 reload is in need of fixing, but other than that, it's a good turret. -

That's actually not a bad idea. You'd just need to figure out what the button requirements are. My hands would be tied, with my left hand being the hand that uses suplies, increases/decreases my camera angle, increases my camera angle, turning my turret, pressing shift, and using the spacebar to fire. As for my left hand is for moving my tank forward, left/right, or backwards. Little fun fact though, with mouse controls, you're actually able to rotate the camera angle as fast as you want, and your turret will follow where you're facing. All turrets have a turn speed limit, so, you'll need to focus on your turret as well as your surroundings. -
@Maf The problem started happening sometime like 19 hours ago. Tanki just started being slow. Even when I'm not in the match, I have 5 fps whether I'm in a match or in the garage. Opening Tanki just lags and lags all my other tabs too. My computer is pretty new and can I get good fps in games. I turned all my graphics to the lowest setting possible, and it's still lagging. If you know what's going on, can you suggest something? If not, can you ask the devs? I wanna be able to do my 3 daily missions for the day so that I can get the 100 Tankcoins at the end of the season.

Agreed. They stripped magnum partially of its specialness. The only thing it's good for now is shooting above walls and stuff. You can't adjust your aim or anything. -

Alright, I’ll go into more depth onto each of my points, there being five points in total and a bonus point at the end. Understandance. It was more understandable than Mk, because you had only 4 Modifications to deal with. Each having 10 micro-upgrades to work with excluding M3+, which has 20. As for the Mk System, 7 different modifications, 80 micro upgrades. The times were so much simpler back then, not much confusion. You could remember the rank required for getting the next modification. Granted, I still don’t know all the rank requirements for each modification, but now that’s impossible with 7 Mk’s. Appearance. It was cool that each modification had its own design change with it, and its own shot effect. That’s one thing, other than power, that made it worth wanting to upgrade your equipment. Unfortunately now, we all look like M3’s, there’s nothing special about us besides our strength. The only way to be “cooler” in looks is to get a Skin Container, or get lucky enough to have a Skin drop in a regular container. The problem with this setup is that it's randomized. Like, for example, my main weapon is a Firebird, and my main hull is a Viking, I finally get a skin container and I’m excited to get a skin. I open up the skin container, and I get Hunter XT. Now, for a buyer, that’s totally fine, they have every hull maxed out, but for me, that’s just a whole lot of dissatisfaction. Especially since my Hunter is M0, and my main hull is Viking M3. Now, luckily for me, that never happened, I actually got Viking Prime, but having a drop like that would really suck. Especially when it’s super hard to obtain a skin from Containers or get a Skin Container. You can get a Skin Container in the battle pass at tier 50, but you need 500 Tankcoins for the battle pass, which means you have to complete 3 missions daily and 3 weekly missions weekly, for 2 months, then you buy the Battle Pass. You do hard labor and complete the 50 tiers again, you finally get the Skin Container, but it gives you that Hunter XT I’ve been talking about. Now I have to do 2 months of labor again and test my luck once more… Hunter Prime... Welp, I got to do 2 more months of labor. You get the idea. It was said in one of Tanki’s latest updates that they will not be returning the M0-M2 models, or that every turret and hull was only getting one skin. Though, none of it’s actually exact. Perhaps they’re teasing us, and they’ll return every model with better textures. But at the moment, I’m really doubting that. Even if they did, it wouldn’t work out with the 7 Marks, but I don’t think the Devs have the time to add 3 more skins for each equipment. One last thing, I’d rather assume someone’s power by pressing v and seeing their micro-upgrades, rather than looking at a GS. With the old skins and shot effects, I could see what modification the enemy had. If a Railgun hit me from afar, I could see what modification hit me depending on the shot effect. A player’s GS doesn’t give me an accurate answer. An opponent could have a GS of 4000, but in reality, all they have is an M4 Dictator and an M0 Firebird. It’s harder to tell someone’s equipment when they have Augments, Modules, and Drones. Buyer-Friendly. I’ve come to the realization that the new modification system is a lot more buyer friendly than the old one. It now takes a lot more time for us non-buyers to upgrade our equipment rather than from before. With 60% more MU’s, it slowed down us non-buyers more than it slowed down the buyers, because even if you add rank stoppers, buyers still get instant max upgrades. This is especially harder on us non-buyers who only upgrade equipment on sales and don’t speed up, because it’ll save our crystals. If there are around 12 events with sales every year, 1 sale per month, it’d take 10 months to max out our equipment(Besides M3+ which would take 20 months). With 30 more Micro-Upgrades, for the people who want to save crystals, it will take a lot longer to finish upgrades. But hey, if you’re a rich non-buyer, you can have maxed out equipment instantly when you rank up. That’s kinda rare, but it’s possible. Although, the difference between a maxed out non-buyer and a maxed out buyer, is that, one has a hull augment and a drone. Seeing as drones and augments are overpowered, the clear winner is still a buyer, and since I’ve proven that the Mk system slowed down non-buyers too, there was still no point in changing M-System into Mk-System. Nostalgic. Yes, nostalgia is one of my main points, something that has been with us for a very long time and has had no problems for years, was replaced by something much worse and less likable than the old M-system. The old M-system grew on players, we got accustomed to the old system because it was fine and unproblematic. I believe that when the Mk system was released, more people disliked it, more than the people who liked it, not because of the boost those players got when they had 10/10 equipment. Another thing is, people dislike the Mk system, because for years, they've been asking the devs to fix drones and balancing and augments and all the messed up stuff about the game, but instead the devs decided to roll out some random, unnecessary updates out of nowhere, like the Mk update. The Mk update was out of randomness. The small fraction of people who had complaints over the 10 year period finally came to the Devs' brains. Skills. A player’s equipment does not depend on how strong they will be. Yes, if someone has that M1 10/10 Smoky and Titan, they don’t need skills to succeed, but that’s a bummer for them, since they’re leveling up so fast, it’ll be no time before they’re in the M3 leagues and they’re up against the other M4’s who’ve mastered their weapons for years. Bonus point. The point is, the old modification system was better than the new one. -

Here's the same quote from me, but fully explained... "M-system was way better, here's why. It was more understandable than Mk, because you got only 4Ms, it was a lot more simple. Now we have 7 different modifications(Marks). If Tanki was big brain, they'd do 8Mk's that way M1 would equal Mk2. But even 8Mks would not be great. The modification system introduced different shot effects and skins for each modification, which made upgrading your equipment unique. It made it worth upgrading your stuff, so that you can have a new look with your new power. Now everyone looks the same, and the only way to get a special skin is through containers where they randomize what you get. I use Hunter and I want a Hunter XT, but the container gave me a Viking XT, but I don't use Viking and it is M0, that's a high level of un-satisfaction there. The modification system was also "buyer friendly" which persuaded more people to buy crystals to upgrade their stuff, thus giving the devs money, thus making stuff like pay-to-"use augments and drones" not necessary so that the devs can make a living. A Pro Friendly player like myself learned how to earn a lot of crystals without spending money and learned to spend my crystals wisely and ended up getting the best benefits from doing so. Another thing Tanki messed up badly on was nostalgia. If you rework/change something that's been in the game and has been causing no/few problems for 10 WHOLE YEARS, people are gonna get upset. Last but not least, balancing of equipment stats is a requirement, but not of players' skill level. That is not a requirement, as there will always be bad and good players in the game." That's about 6 points I've stated, yet you go for the 1st few sentences in the paragraph. Oh, but as a matter of fact, your reply was, "You can't count to 7? My condolences." Nono, my condolences for you that you can't read. Then you go for the, "Oh, none of the other stuff was relevant to me, so, I'm only going to assume you said this one point." It was probably not the best idea to choose not to read something because now you've been assuming that my only reason was that, "I didn't understand the newer system." Because now everything you said after that paragraph, to me, is irrelevant. -

Yeah, I missed out on most of the conversations over the span of 10 years. You're saying people complained about the M system? For 10 years? Even if Tanki wasn't able to convert it because they were busy with other stuff, 10 years is quite a long time, you'd think they would've converted it if so many people had problems with it. My issues aren't that I don't understand it. I understood how it worked before this conversation started, as a matter of fact, I even learned more things about both systems thanks to this conversation. But, if the things I heard were evidence that the Mk System is better than the M System I would've agreed with it. I don't hate something for some lame excuse, I have my reasons for it. -

Haha, what did you want me to say? "AND then our beloved game made us all very depressed and we were all sad because our childhood game was no more." "And the devs had to go find new jobs. :(" "And the end, end of story, goodnight, sleep tight, don't let the bedbugs bite." Oh, or you're saying "and?" because you don't care about Tanki. If that's it, you can go ahead and quit the game. -

I'm not thinking that, I'm suggesting it, like, as a good idea. If you wanna overexaggerate your past just to bring a valid point to your claim, then be my guest, but my memories are vivid, I have friends who thought the same. I'm going to say this again, and I hope I only have to say this one last time, the old M-System was here in Tanki for more than 10 years. I played back when we had to upgrade to 50 to get to the next modification, heck, even back when we could only upgrade one separate stat at a time. But when they released the 10 Micro-Upgrade System, the game was taking a turn to greatness, none of us had any problems with it for years. Another fun fact. The old modification system was around when every hull's armor was only in the hundreds. Same ranks required. At M0, you needed Recruit(They changed a lot of M0's so that not might be exact), at M1, you needed Master Sergeant, M2, you needed Colonel, and M3 changed a lot over the years. Titan actually used to require Field Marshal. M3's and M0's might've not been accurate, but you seem to be complaining about M1 10/10, so M1's and M2's, which is dope. There are a few things I've already responded to that you or another person keeps repeating, so I'm going to skip them. You're right, I'm technically new to the Forum, after all these years I decided to actually give the Forum a try. From the information I gathered from these past few weeks is, that the Forum/Moderator System is currently flawed. First off, not dissing the mods here, buuuuut, the mods are a little biased on what ideas are great, and they all have their own opinions on some ideas. Like, if one mod were to validate an idea, another mod comes along and declines it. Also, they follow some terrible rules set by the devs themselves. Like, they don't accept ideas for updates that were previously in the game or updates that remove newer updates, or prices to their stuff specifically stating "decreasing it." Obviously, the devs don't want you telling them how they should run their game. Also also, I'll go ahead and ask the Forum Participants and Mods- Oh wait, no one plays this game anymore, and I'm pretty sure around 70%, or 60%-80%, of people in the current game right now dislike the state Tanki is in, so, 60%-80% of the participants wouldn't be reliable. Maybe even 70% of the mods think that too, but I can't tell since most of them are inactive at the moment. You say you believe that they somewhat got the Mk System right? Are you saying there's still something wrong with the Mk System? -

Like I said before, we had nothing wrong with that. We had nothing wrong with that for 10 whole years. Sure, a few changes to the MU System, like 20 upgrades at M0, but the old Modification System was totally fine. It appears you seem to be making a big problem out of the 10 year old system, now that it's converted to whatever this Mk system is. Ever remember 2015 Tanki? I was a Master Sergeant. Nothing out of the ordinary. I barely complained about any one completely destroying me or losing a match. Fun fact, the chances of a maxed out buyer at low ranks were rare back in the day, because back in the day, F2P's actually played the game. I'm assuming you're one of those players who doesn't prefer the pre-2019 period, where everything was fine. You think that today's Tanki, with a few nerfs, would be absolutely perfect. -

Polite answer, I'm sorry that you didn't excel well in Language Arts. Modification System meaning M0-M3. That's literally what we've been calling it for the past day. MU's meaning "Micro Upgrades." Also, I know what you said, but you seem to think you'd prefer having Drones and Augments over the Modification System. Check out what I said to ThirdOnion and you'll get my reasoning for why having Modifications over Marks is way better, let's hope you love giant paragraphs. Also also, I know what you mean, an augment + drone + M-System would greatly ruin the game for sure, but we had 0 problems with the M-System for many, many years. The only problems I see having many problems are the drones and augments... and many other things. Another valid point, they aren't going to remove Augments and Drones, I know they're too invested. But I know they still won't be able to fix the game just by nerfing the things that are currently making the game terrible. They need to remove some things instead of removing the updates that were balanced and were loved by almost all players. If the option were to delete drones and hull augments, then give the players refunds, any crystal spent, any Tankcoin, any dollar, that way it wasn't just a waste. The only waste was a player's time and effort using the now deleted item. But, I doubt they'll even refund players if it does happen, so honestly, Tanki is screwed. They won't be able to recover from any of this. -

I'd say P2W is worse than before. I've never had a problem with buyers back then, if one appeared, I would be mad that he can kill people easily, but that's what brought up a good challenge. It was P2W but it was still fair. Anyone could have maxed out equipment in your match at earlier ranks. Wether that be buyers or non-buyers. The difference between the Modification System and Drones/Augments, is that one is more F2P friendly than the other, and one is more broken than the other. For the more P2W side, you got Augments and Drones. We'll start off with a few, like Gauss' EMP Salvo, which disables your supplies just from charging up for 2 seconds. Gauss itself is overpowered with this feature, but giving buyers the ability to delete other players' supplies is just too much. It will guarantee you victory if you have the augment. Another augment would have to be literally most of the hull augments, which are only accessible with 8k Tankcoins, or a chance from containers to drop. Buyers have access to these containers and tankcoins and can have the augment they so desire, like, immunity from burning, everyone doesn't want to lose 300 health every second from burning, but with this burn immunity augment, you're fully immune. You can have the ability to not get hit with Hunter's EMP, either don't lose your supplies, or don't lose your movement capability. But yeah, only accessible for buyers. Drones give the player the ability to literally activate hacks, if you have enough batteries(Like all buyers), you can play every game with a super powered boost. Like, the defender drones, making you immortal with a +100% resistance to all incoming damage, add that with the current double armor resistance you have, and you got yourself 150% protection. If you got the booster drone, you can basically triple your damage. With a power like that, it's possible for a Shaft to one shot any heavy hull. How about the Crisis Drone? You can only have one supply active at a time and each time you do, the cooldown for each supply is 2-.5 seconds when using one supply. Another thing is, your supplies are boosted as well. Additional armor: +100% Additional Damage: +50% Additional Speed: +70%. From the looks of it, if you don't have a drone at the higher ranks, you won't be able to win, and I'm at the level where I'm starting to see drone users and oh boy are they really destroying us. So tell me why you think Augments and Drones are better than the Modification System. Why was it better to delete the Modification System and add literal cheats to the game? Cheats that can only be accessed by yours truly, the buyers. Plus, even with the Mk system, each time a buyer ranks up, they're still going to max out their equipment, it's still an advantage to the game. Add that with their unstoppable augment combination like Incendiary Rounds for Vulcan, and Fire Immunity for their hull, and they'll completely dominate the low ranks. Here's the best alternative. Return the old modification system with a few tweaks I had in mind for quite a while, and completely delete drones and hull augments. If that is done, I think that this game can be 1 step closer to being enjoyable again. -

Yes, TO saw an opportunity to gain players and revenue, but did they succeed to gain players and revenue? Were they able to bring the game back to how it was back in 2018 with mobile? Did tons of players start rushing back into the game when they heard hovering hulls and hull augments were added? The point is, you should know when an idea doesn't cut it, you should know that if something is not working out and you can't think of any other possible way to fix it, then the best idea is to drop it. If Tanki has to convert every hull in the game to a hovering hull and defy what a tank is, just because it's hard to control on Mobile, then your answer is right there, it should not be a mobile game. There are a lot of games that attempt to give a platform for mobile players, but most of them end up failing. The Devs believe they see potential in TO Mobile, but it's just going to change their game if they keep making things more beneficial for Mobile players. Now consider this scenario. Tanki decides to fully convert to Tanki Mobile, what do you think would happen? Would you like to play Tanki on your phone? Apparently it's hard to use the normal hulls on Tanki, it'd suck if you could no longer use your Hornet, or your Viking, or perhaps Titan. The whole game is just gonna be players using hover hulls because the equipment they spent their whole time upgrading and playing is pointless. Now, if I'm not wrong, most of us are PC players in this game, we prefer the keyboard/mouse controls, but, if you convert to phone, and controls are impossible to use, and your hull is completely impossible to use, I'd assume players would leave the game, since PC players can't play on PC anymore. Tanki already has a low amount of players to begin with, and if Tanki fully invests in Tanki Mobile, well, that's the end of this game. The problem with Tanki X was that it was too complicated. Too many things were added, as a starter, you'd never know what to do. Tanki X exceeded in EPIC graphics, I mean, they seriously outdid themselves, but they were too focused on the graphics more than the actual gameplay, which is why they couldn't gain revenue from it, it wasn't that interesting. How do I know that Tanki lost players due to their updates? Well, because I was there when it happened. Summer 2018, was the peak, we had that animal war(lions, wolves, bears), we had daily missions that gave us awesome rewards every week that gave us non-buyers a chance to gain the upper hand, I loved just playing Tanki every single day, there was nothing wrong with it. Even my friend and brother enjoyed it. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the game. Then, on October 2018, it was announced that missions were getting a change, new alterations being added, more drones being added, and a few other things. Now, I've been a Tanki player for over 10 years, and there wasn't a single update that made me hate the game. Sure, there were some that were questionable before 2018, but it never stopped me from playing the game. But October, that really changed my mood about things. Coincidentally, Tanki started losing players a few months later, I saw it happen. After the updates, I played for a few months thinking that it was alright, and that I can live with these changes. The player count on Tanki was dropping a lot faster than before, I remember my friend and I keeping watch on that. We were always up to date on things that changed. Eventually, I gave up, the count wouldn't stop dropping, the General 1 Chat went from 1 message every few seconds to being able to have a conversation with your friend without the message being sent sky high. But, my friend and I were up to date on the changes, my friend was actually still playing the game. I just looked at the news. Ah, but you do prove a point, most games do lose popularity overtime, that would mean Tanki would slowly lose players till there's barely any players left, BUT, Tanki lost about 75% of its player in the span of just a few months, right after the updates in October 2018. That whole paragraph might've not persuaded you enough, so let's check out this recent topic on Discussions called "What is your opinion about the current state of Tanki Online?" Now, only 334 people voted on this, but that's enough to give an estimate on how much 10k people think of the game. Love it = 10.78% of people voted this Satisfied = 19.78% of people voted this On Edge = 41.92% of people voted this Hate it = 27.54% of people voted this Now, "Love it" means that Tanki is perfectly fine, there's nothing wrong with it. "Satisfied" meaning it's okay, "On Edge" meaning you're literally about to quit, and "Hate it" means the game is ruined and I'm leaving the game because of it. Shoutout to @yellowghetto for this topic. Now, if we combine the "On Edge" people with the "Hate it" people, we'll get roughly 69.46% of players. it works the same as 10k, not exact, but pretty close to 69%. I've done stuff like this many times. Us 70% of players outmatch your 30% satisfied/love it players. I believe I've given enough evidence to state my claim. As for the Mark system. I'm kinda grateful that I was able to get a Mk7 Viking from my M2 10/10 Viking at Second Lieutenant, I was never a buyer, but I definitely knew how to spend my crystals and how to gain crystals back then. If you were smart, you'd be able to have advantages. I practically could stand up against all the high level buyers. That's why the modification system was great, if you were smart, you could get the best equipment, the old Modification system gave that opportunity. As for a player who was once weak, I never had a problem with the higher leveled players, if someone had Smoky M1 10/10 and a Titan M1 10/10, and everyone else just had M1's, it wasn't that big of a deal, sure I got mad when he was stronger and could kill me easily, but that brought a bigger challenge to the game. It's not always about what equipment you got, it's also about the skill. Sure, buyers have all these op weapons, but they never earned it with their own skill, they just bought it so they have an easier chance to not die and kill easily. They have op gear, but are they actually good at the game? You think a player's skill is decided on what equipment they got? Cuz I don't. I probably have more things to say but this reply is getting too long so I'll cut it off from here at the moment. -

Actually, it wouldn't be Mk9, it would be Mk8. Mk7 20/20 is just like Mk7 10/10, but each MU is divided into 2 MU's, so you get Mk8, or Mk7 20/20, also Augments don't define an extra Mk to your turret, if you're one of those players who think that. The Mark system is still a bad idea. Modification System was way better. -

Only irrelevant because of your own opinions. At least I put effort to give good reasoning with my responses, I also put effort to actually read what others have to say. I don't think you read anything I said. I thought I said, "8 was still a bad idea, but it's still better than 7." Somewhere in between that. Sometimes I wonder if people even read what I have to say. 1 skin for each equipment because of HTML5? Didn't they say something about HTML5 giving them a lot more room to add more polygons to the equipment? HTML5 is way better than Flash, so it made no sense to remove the skins. If they can add more polygons, they could just keep the current skins for each modification, and give them more detail. And yeah, there's tons of stuff for buyers, there's so much, that this game turned into a pay to win game. Only buyers can get the augments and skins they so desire. They can have the highest equipment at their rank as soon as they rank up and get the next modification. Sadly for us non-buyers, we have to work every day just to get 3 containers that will give 125 mines, or an augment for a turret I never use. So yeah, tons of stuff for buyers, wouldn't you say? -

You gotta point there, Gauss is too op, I'm not sure why they haven't nerfed it yet. They even decided to give it an almost unbeatable augment which allows you to delete other people's supplies. It's pretty frustrating.
