I can tell by how extremely offended everyone is over the removal of a single button that everyone takes this stuff very seriously, and so if the entire game were taken from them, they would come to appreciate the good things Tanki gives them much more. Tanki would never do that, but as I said, if I were in charge, everyone would be taught just how good they have it. I say again, I wouldn't last two seconds as a developer. I'm just not kind enough, and that is a flaw that I need to work on.

They make good discounts and cool events all the time and that is never enough to satisfy anyone! If this were my game to do with as I please, I would shut it down for three weeks, during which time everyone would suddenly realize how good the discounts and events really are as they sit and pout because their game has been shut down. Translation: be glad I'm not a developer.

So you're saying that, with a dislike button, announcements didn't get flamed into oblivion?! Any time an update rolls out, or Semyon raises a finger, or Tankionline attempts to please you in any way, there is a crowd that jumps on them and goes on for pages and pages (and did I mention pages?) doing nothing but scream about how Tanki wants to hurt them as much as possible! It doesn't matter if the button is there or not! These people are impossible to satisfy! Now, the ones who aren't posting constructive negative responses will actually have to give a reason to hate the topic so they won't look like trolls.

As I look through the comments, I realize an interesting phenomenon... the update worked. The bullies who hate the restriction that Tanki has placed upon their ability to ruin the fun everytanki has on the forum are talking about it, just as planned. Some are saying "now the hate is just going to get worse", but I contend that it will not get worse because bullies will now have to work a lot harder to troll and flame. No more "trolling just enough to not break the rules." You must either offer a useful voice of dissent, one that truly has a purpose and helps the devs understand what is needed to improve the forum or game, or you can troll and flame and wind up getting banned.
