Went into a parkour battle on my main last night and saw almost everyone using twins and shooting in the same direction. I stood in the middle and it took almost all of them around 30 seconds to flip my Viking since it had the heavyweight augment equipped. Everyone else in there were doing ballerina twirls. Pretty fun moment.

Why are you giving most if not all of hunters abilities to wasp and hopper?
-
Here's this weeks patch notes:
-
Wasp and hopper the much more annoying versions of hunter by 1000%. Wasp especially plants bomb before I can even kill it, bomb goes boom before I can even get far enough or duck behind cover, inflicts EMP, stun, and burn effects on to me as well as often chipping off half my health from the initial blast. After 3 seconds the stun wears off and the 5 second cool down of my supplies begin. A split second before the cool down ends, the burn claims me. Hopper is behind wasp in terms of being annoying but at least there's no initial damage.
-
Removing the permanent exp boost, status effect turret augments, inability to MU equipment, four modes from MM, gauss and hopper would be a great start.
-
Burning effect is only annoying if combined with another effect like stun or emp. Freezing effect is same as burning effect but to lesser extent. Jammer effect is nothing to be afraid of to be honest. AP effect is strong, but I don't find it annoying. Its allowing the weaker players to takedown the stronger players. Legend ranked players and players with strong accounts for their ranks hate this because it takes away their invincibility for a few seconds. For me its a close call between EMP and stun. Both of these leave you defenseless for a few seconds. If these two status effects were inflicted together, that's it you're done. Separately, I would have to go with EMP being a bit more annoying, you'll need those extra seconds to spare, if your supplies are on cool down, defending yourself is gonna be that much tougher. If you get stunned, you'll still be able to use your supplies.

Well in that case. I'm just gonna quote someone else's post as a reply. Saves me the trouble of typing it out myself. Also thanks wolverine for the resource.

And I would simply remove that stupid penalty. Then maybe this idea can become viable. @wolverine848 once said that players leave battles for reasons, most of which are understandable. And I agree with this statement. Its like a household. The players are the members, the developer team is the head of the household, the game is the house and or property, MM is the living room, pro battles is the separate bedrooms, and the lobby/chat is everywhere else in the house. Well the lobby/chat and pro battles part is just random. But anyway that's the layout of the game basically. Situation #1: The family wants to watch a movie but the TV doesn't work. Several members leave the living room and go to their own separate bedrooms. The head punishes them for leaving the living room. Is that really fair? Situation #2: The family is watching a movie. One of the members leaves the living room to go to the bathroom, get something to eat or drink, or checks for an important text. They come back and the head punishes them for leaving the living room. Is this really fair? Situation #3: A family member has had a long day of hard work and just wants to get comfortable but none of the couches or chairs are comfortable, so they go to their room to chill there. The head punishes them for leaving the living room. Is that fair? One more: A family member came to chill in the living room when their ceiling fan came crashing down on them and badly injuring them, they're dragged to the car or ambulance for medical care. When they come back, the head punishes them for leaving the living room. Is that really fair? My point is, instead of punishing people for leaving the living room which makes no sense at all, wouldn't it be better to fix the problems that are in the living room? Same can be said for matchmaker.

Actually now that you mention it. B0-NK's mechanics seems familiar to me. Like I once suggested such mechanics. ?

If Tesla doesn't get released on June 5th 1996, then it ain't ever gonna be released.

Honestly, I think nerfing the self heal down to 35% but buffing the healing to teammates to 30 health points per tick should be the starting point. Even 25% seems too much of a nerf from 50%.

valid Change hunters and Vikings Overdrive.
PirateSpider replied to PirateSpider in Change hunters and Vikings Overdrive. Ideas and Suggestions
I'd like to change over drives of two hulls: Viking and hunter. For hunter, what's the point in using it anymore when two hulls, wasp and hopper does, or will soon do the exact same things and more? They already make using hunter pointless and killed its uniqueness. The lead dev said that they won't give it a bigger support role. So the only thing now to do is to scrap its current OD and give it Vikings current OD. Hunter is good at offense from afar, not offense from up close. So now, what will Vikings new OD be now that its given to hunter? You may ask. I'm thinking airstrike command. Like wasp, its exact location upon activating the OD will be the epicenter of the explosions. Unlike wasp, it'll take 5 minutes and 20 seconds to charge without doing anything, have a 10 second delay before the explosions start happening, and have a bigger impact radius (like a 40 meter radius). Each explosion deals 1500-3000 max and 250-500 min damage depending on modification and distance from the epicenter. If the Viking doesn't get out of the area in time, it could suffer self damage from its own ability. I'm thinking of what kind of indicator for the airstrike ability area of impact should get. -
What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?

Ah, so the title is the most important part of an idea aside from the idea itself then. -

Damn, stock hammer feels pretty bad to play with. Even at point blank with damage boost, I sometimes only deal 100 points of damage. What happened?

What if you have more than one OD idea? Wouldn't that warrant the need to post it all in one topic? And it doesn't have to be just ODs, it can be about other things to like turrets, hulls, improvements on a certain version of the game, or even friends system like you mentioned. Wouldn't it be better and easier to review multiple ideas in one topic than to review multiple topics? -
Honestly, the only ricos that really do well are plasma torch and MFS. Ever since the range nerf, ricos that aren't these two have been underperforming. I say bring back ricos old range, plasma torch can stay where its at.
