What to buy? Which is better?

Currently, the best legal hack is paladin. Your post was inaccurate, so I corrected it. Funny how they nerf OP stuff when they think it's monetary value has been squeezed dry.

Let me remind you that they never act on player feedback unless it's in line with their P2W strategy. It's how they implement the idea that gives them the reputation they deserve, which is all bad.
  3. Spot on. 1- There are 2 dices which is GROSSLY misleading, (fav developer ploy) so at the least you should roll a 2. 2-The chances of rolling any number between 1-6 (because we have established that only 1 die is being used) should be EQUAL. 3-Whatever algorithm is being used has been "FIXED" by the developers (basically there cheats) 4-Yet again the developers have shown their true nature and "still" players fall for it, a combination of weak willed and idiocy.
  4. The developers imo "cherry pick" players Q so as not to try and answer the ones that might put them in a bit of a bind. So, you are posting in a topic about "GAME BALANCE" but your not interested in "game balance". ? Can you explain why you are not interested about balance, balance is the core problem of TO and the cause of most of the complaints against the developers.
  5. The proof is in their inactions, their constant thumbs up to the developers when they bring anything new out, no matter how absurd it is. Served the devs a hard dish of reality ?. Descend from the clouds and try and find "reality" yourself. You show me ONE legitimate post from any mod that criticises them like I do (and deservedly so) and I will never post in the forum again. Good luck with finding that post.
  6. And how do you no it's "false". I am making a claim based on a lot of statistical knowledge that 1....The developers never do anything in regards to balance, 2....Mods never say what they might really want to say because they would be kicked from being a mod. In defence of no.2, I'm referring to what I would post, not the watered down tripe the mods come out with when they do actually disagree with something the developers have done. Read between the lines, if you can't manage that, then that's not my problem, it's yours.
  7. Yeah, my mistake. Still they are both rubbish. And there lies the problem. THE PROBLEM never gets solved no matter what it is because the developers "deliberately" make it a problem, (no balance, perpetual P2W only updates, etc.) Example of trying to get the problem solved :- I proposed a 3X increase to rank, recruit/marshal to give players (mainly F2P) a chance to strengthen their garage and at least have a fighting chance as they progress thru the ranks. This is a valid proposal and would deff help players in a big way. Have the developers acknowledged this idea, I doubt it, like to try and guess why they will never do this mod. My criticism of the developers is substantiated by their actions, they have not once, ever, tried to balance out TO, even slightly because it might interfere with their precious economy. They downgrade containers, they downgrade ranking up, they continually increase shop prices, they ask players to spend astronomical amounts of cash for the latest P2W update while demeaning and downgrading what players can obtain. In your defence of the developers, you don't have a leg to stand on mod.
  8. Heat and cold immunity, 245.000 crystals. How can the developers justify that much in crystals for augments that are a total waste of time and DO NOTHING at all to mitigate the effects of either.
  9. IF and it's a HUGE IF you are very, very good with it. I have been playing TO for a long time now (for my sins) and I know what is "good" in battle and what is not. Hyperspace may be "very good" but only if you are a staunch rail gunner and have a lot of hrs playing with this augment. That to one side, for your average player (most players) hyper imo is not going to be seen used in battle very much because of the skill (luck) needed to achieve any meaningful results. On a side note, copy and pasting. If the developers would act on player feedback and make a effort to balance the game out then I would gladly stop "copy/pasting" (utter nonsense by the way) my posts. I say it how it is and my posts reflect the true nature of TO and were it is heading, total P2W. Wake up to reality mod, or at the very least try saying how TO really is for most players, unplayable.

I'm sure @Marcus will ask hazel to keep your account active for however long it takes you to return. By the way that was sincere and not a diss.
  12. It's a useless augment compared to a lot of OP trash that is available only for buyers. You have cash to spend in TO then your the developers best friend and they will do their best to keep that broken cycle going. This new special mission they brought out, one of them is "be in the winning team 69 times" all these players that will rank trying to do this will suffer because their garage will be so weak if they do not have the cash to offset this ridiculous mission when completed. I don't no why players keep falling for the same con every time. The game is designed to take the cash from the weak willed and the kids who pester their parents for money. Any augment worth having is always "FOR CASH ONLY" any and all decisions made by the developers is always aimed at the buyers, FTP get very little from the developers unless it's a new useless shot effect that only 10 yr olds think is cool.
  13. Well imo that is just fine, more of the same i say. These floating trash cans (mostly paladin hacks) are so OP that I'm all in favour of them getting taken out. On a more practical side, using hyper with rail is not that easy. Being able to line up a shot with a team mate and making sure it goes thru a couple of enemy tanks is more luck than skill. I have used hyper a few times and found that the big hits are very seldom and rely on that "luck factor" quite a bit. As far as augments go you will not see many using this one because it is so unreliable in battle and restricted to one mode for any sort of decent results, siege.
  14. If the jug is a smart competent player that's half the battle won. I agree with diesel, the outcome of the battle depends a lot on various factors ranging from augments, G/S, groups, the team working together, and the most important one, a good jug player who knows the mode very well and is well above average as a jug player. If you have 3 players working together to take out the enemy jug, then they will get through any defence eventually. This kind of team work is seldom seen in most jug battles and applies for any mode. As always the core problem, regardless of what mode you play are the developers, they set the parameters for all modes and until they start and introduce "BALANCE" in TO then jug modes along with every other mode will usually be a blow out for many players. Funny how it always comes down to 1 common denominator, THE DEVELOPERS.

The core problem with TO is the fact that it is based on P2W, with no thought given to balance. I came up with a solution to help new players out, which was to extend the XP needed to rank by a factor of X3 all the way to marshal, after that the normal XP needed for the subsequent ranks would remain the same. This 1 easy to implement solution would give players a lot more time to strengthen their garage before encountering the inevitable onslaught of all the augments, status effects, etc that plague the higher ranks. The developers should also reverse their worst update ever, the upgrading update that has made a lot of accounts useless because they are stuck on MK6, MK5, etc with the solution to advance any further based on the ability to buy your way out of this unfair update. (never gonna happen) These are 2 changes the developers could make that would help a lot of players have a better gaming experience in this P2W only game. It's not a lot to ask for and would not imo be detrimental to game economy. How about it hazel, give the F2P, low rankers something for committing their time to TO.
  17. Brainwashed, can't go a day without playing, weak willed, nothing better to do, same old crap from the developers, so you either (as a player) do your best or just quit. All of the above apply in part or in total to the mindset of ALL players, myself included. For me I do my best and play now when I can be bothered, which is not very often now. The developers are their own worst enemy. Their greed and underhanded tactics they employ have brought them nothing but loathing from many players, who see them as nothing but leeches who will do ANYTHING to offset the balance of the game. They do this to gain more cash from the weak willed, foolish buyers who continue to support this game because of the need to be seen as better than most other players. The great shame of everything the developers do is the fact that some players STILL believe what they say, they come under the heading of brainwashed. As for the mods who invariably back their every word, they come under something completely different.
  18. So lets clear this up shall we. All the high end players, paladin (hack) users with maxed everything use armadillo. I have seen this about a zillion times and the main users are clans who group and win battles in about 2/3 mins and they do it with ease. TO is P2W trash and these players exploit the huge amounts of money it takes to win 90% of all battles they go into. Developers are greedy lowlifes and armadillo along with every other P2W crap they bring into the game will only become more common, which is fine if you have the cash. Not being able to switch protections in battle will only benefit those players who rarely did it to start with, (the maxed out I have everything I need because I'm a fool with cash to burn and just have to be on the winning team every time) An aspect of unfairness, lol. The whole game is biased and unfair to the majority of players, there is no part of TO that is fair because the developers put greed before balance, always have, always will, isn't that right hazel.
  19. I no the reason and it's not the answer the developers gave you.
  20. Nope, it's not fine. If this pre-set nonsense actually comes into play, then being able to use them SHOULD NOT cost anything. Nice deflection, as usual. You mean more than they already do when outclassed by a huge margin. Agree. That's their lame excuse to move forward and justify this ridiculous update that we all no they are going to do, regardless how players react to it. The only players that benefit from anything the developers do are the buyers with maxed out everything.
  21. Exactly what i was thinking. All this tripe about the changes through the years is to try and justify the ultimate change they will hit us with, which because it's TO, will be over the top, unwanted by 99% of players and will somewhere along the line cost players cash, as it always does.
  22. The game is advertised as "FREE TO PLAY". For whatever reason, they continue to increase prices for less reward. Opening containers (which are USELESS) giving 1 "useless container" for ranking, shop prices "a disgrace", increasing crystal prices just because they change something about a certain turret/hull. In the last 2 years TO has become unplayable for all but the buyers, who lost their battle with the developers a long time ago, they just don't have the required brain power to realise how much the developers have duped them.
  23. No, the problem is all to do with the augments they brought into the game, that is why some battles seem impossible to play in. P2W will always have the advantage, regardless of being able to swap or not. The game is trash, has been for a very long time, yet the clowns still throw away their cash to be top dog in a game that is dying with every useless, OP, P2W, greed infested update that the greed motivated developers bring out. They deserve each other so much, until the developers wash their greedy little paws of them and the game finally goes bust.

When have the developers NOT been vague. Transparency is obviously a word, just like balance, that the developers have NO CONCEPT of. More than likely its garage related. Skill is a forgotten word in this augment infested game. Augments have taken away the skill to get decent results. Mobile players have auto aim, what a joke. You play on mobile, you have the same mechanics as PC, simple as that. I have yet to see a GOOD update that has nothing to do with new shiny skins, useless shot effects, or changing the way drop boxes look, etc. I can't recall a single GOOD update that actually helped the less fortunate (F2P) players IN BATTLE. Note the last 2 words for anyone trying to counter my argument. This is what is killing the game for F2P low rankers, along with the update to the upgrading system (worst update ever.)
  25. Changing equipment is a integral part of the game, without which you would encounter EVEN MORE unbalanced battles. The main and biggest flaw with this game is the amount of OP, container only addons you can acquire, if you have the cash. It matters not how many times you can change equipment, but what you have at your disposal in your garage to change to. Buyers will always have the advantage in battle no matter their skill level, (unless they are useless.) There are many ways to approach any given battle, regardless of the mode, you just have to play to your strengths and do your best. Those that do best in battles are the maxed out everything groups (are nigh on maxed) they rarely lose and are usually on the same wavelength, even without the advantage of being connected by voice chat. If they are on voice then it's lights out for the enemy team in very quick fashion. The increased time limit put on changing equipment means you (mostly F2P) have to get it right from the get go. If a buyer gets it's wrong, they have the advantage of their superior combo (G/S, augments) to mitigate that. Also lets not forget that most buyers (1/3 at least) enter battle with their fav, OP flavour of the month, that being the almost indestructible hack, paladin. Equipment changing does not have a great impact on these type of players, who rarely change, as they are already far more powerful than most of the players they come up against.
