  3. @Jeers4U @TheCongoSpider knows how the game works just as we do. He does not however give out his opinions in the way we do, maybe he should, his choice. He explains to others the sometimes complicated wording used by the devs to explain their patch notes, which goes way over the heads of most players. He also breaks down any updates pertaining to garage changes, the +1/-1 you referred to. In a nutshell---- Each to their own. @Jeers4U and me battle constantly with the system (and It's bot mods) because it is totally broken and inherently unfair. @TheCongoSpider battles with facts and figures which in some cases seem ridiculous. As for the Isida augment - it gives up It's primary function in order to enhance another team members function. In order to see it work as intended you need two players able to exploit it's mechanics, which basically takes skill and timing. Choosing the right target at the right moment will most likely yield favourable results in battle. This of course is way easier said than done. With the myriad of ways you can get destroyed in seconds in battle, I doubt very much that this augment will get used very much by anyone. It needs something more//enhanced to warrant using it, because in It's current form there is no real advantage gained for the Isida user itself. At the end of the battle, what has the player using Isida gained in regards to rep points, experience, crystals and completing missions, not a lot.

    Good call. Make it easier to see them and totally obliterate them----@Hypersomnia nice 1. They already did. It's called paladin. Only if they actually bought it, then yeah, brainless sheep. Back in the day there was something that gave you this paint, an event maybe, can't quite remember, I just know that one of the first players to get it was @ILLUSION-ZONE if memory serves me.

  6. Why not ask your player base for ideas, or does getting them involved go against TO doctrine. There are so many ideas for so many aspects of TO, and they all get ignored. Push the boat out and start incorporating some of the ideas players come up with. Some of them are actually not that bad.

  9. Sums up the current ideas being put forward to solve the dire MM problem. And yet my solution which would indeed 100% solve the problem gets a from a former mod, mafff and a active mod, nikmangt who agreed with the former mods post, that my idea was basically "silly" and would not work. Try and guess why this idea is "silly". The devs will never adopt any changes to the woeful MM system unless it coincides with them making cash from it. All ideas both "silly" and reasonable don't even get looked at, and if they do, get dismissed asap. As for trying to get the attention of marcus like he cares what players think.
  10. Not an option due to the servers being useless and constantly freezing you in battle, or kicking you out. Refreshing or getting kicked from battle (for no reason) amounts to the same thing, disappearing from the battle. This is "super" annoying. By default you should be kicked for using a [edited] This is technically not his/her fault. This is what happens when players rank far to quickly. Yeaaaaa I'm a Legend. Bummer I have hardly any protections and only a few maxed out. The mechanics of the game coupled with the insatiable GREED of those who run it, make achieving Legend status (conditioned buyers to one side) a one way ticket to getting wrecked in nearly every battle they go into. My idea's to improve this by orders of magnitude just get ignored....because greed. Just a quick edit. I to have a great idea for MM- SCRAP IT.
  11. Unbalanced MM is a by product of OP augments, buyers, luck (container openings) and the deliberate manipulation of the devs to ensure that MM remains unbalanced. My solution would not stop the buyers from "buying" their OP status, because buyers as we have seen over the years will continue to spend cash regardless what the devs do. My solution is that at the very least rank progression is doubled (xp needed to rank) so players stay at a particular rank much longer, therefore ensuring that players come up against other players of similar rank and capabilities. This one very simple fix would improve MM considerably and would only take a short time to even itself out and it would not in any way put a dent in their precious economy......... Because "buyers". Lets make it simple. "Balanced MM" and "balanced teams" boil down to who has the most OP augments attached to trashcans......this is a fact. This means neither MM or teams are balanced because of this fact, which plays out in battle a large % of the time. MM as a concept is good. How the devs put it into practice is abysmal......because of their GREED........that is a fact.
  12. You say. Does not require battles to be unbalanced. Then you say. So the top statement claims a P2W TO does not require itself to be unbalanced. You then backtrack and say low G/S players who want to compete will have to spend cash, or stay "getting smoked" in the majority of battles. (not your words but my words carry more weight) And this just reiterates how backward your entire post is. You have never changed, you "ALWAYS" get it wrong. TO MM=unbalanced on purpose. Reason=To generate cash from those getting wasted in every battle and to empower the buyers at the same time. @Maf Can you see how my statement is not only TRUE, but makes complete sense as it reflects how the game has been ran for years.
  13. It's pathetic that they force xp onto you at every turn. Pure scam artists. I might play the odd battle but I never collect on their scam missions, not any more. Legends are the only one's that gain anything from their forced xp. Every other rank suffers because of it, pathetic.

    The devs have no concept of balance. They know that as a written word it exists, but using the actual meaning of the word in their well conceived scam (so sorry-game) as a method of countering the OP nature of certain "mechanics" within the game, would be counter productive to what they want to achieve. Removing players cash from them as quickly and as effectively as possible. Basically there is and never has been, any balance at all, "EVER" The only constant in TO is the devs ability to truly HACK players on a regular basis, they are experts at that. Oh yeah, and become deaf, dumb and blind all at once when players complain about the severe shortcomings of their precious money maker---ie...getting kicked from battle for no reason on a regular basis...doing no damage, on a regular basis...loading time goes haywire...you refresh and get kicked from battle, etc, etc +infinity. Never seen you on here before-----welcome to the slaughter house - were the meek and the sheep come as a final resting place to find solitude from hazels death maps. The fear of all hazels. Agree. @Guest1 Don't know you so I will be gentle. I imagine you mean well. If you must comment about game mechanics/balance, be aware that there are those who will take apart any and all ideas, if they, DO NOT MAKE SENSE. Just saying like.
  15. 5000 rep points in the super mission.....not happening. 6000 rep points in weekly.....not happening. These missions are not worth it. The crystals you get back are not worth it. None of the missions or events are worth it if you are a low ranker with "NO" protections, what is the point. You rank, you face stronger players, you get killed quicker than before. The shop prices are massively overpriced and augments have ruined game play, what is the point.

    If the teams are filled with random players, then all teams over the course of the event should stay close in %. I do not think when you buy the pass that it is random when a team is selected for you. There is roughly 4% between 4th and 3rd and the same between 3rd and 2nd/1st. 4% seems the norm and will probably continue like this until the end. Shaftlaw are doomed to failure, they were from the end of day one. Waste of tankoins/rubies for anyone who bought the pass. The price of the prizes is also to much and they are not very good. Legendary key price is a joke, as is crisis and armadillo. Lets face it, all these excelsior augments WILL be nerfed. This is a very, very bad event and as always far to pricey.

    Just been going through the prizes on offer for this event, to expensive by far. All these augments will get nerfed shortly after the event has finished, rendering any cry/tankoins spent a waste. I see the de-funked crisis is still doing the rounds along with armadillo. These two are ok and have some worth if upgraded at the lower ranks, (if you have a few zillion spare cry) but at Endgame they are of little worth, due to the insane amount of ways you can die every few seconds. Crisis and armadillo give scant protection, unless you pair the latter with the legal hack paladin, which has by far (when it's overdrive is active) THE MOST survivability than all the other hulls, and then some. In my opinion. Crisis needs a buff and then it will have value when put up as a prize, (which it always is) and not be seen by many as just another filler pretending to be of worth. Here is a thought. Why not offer protection modules as prizes in events, maybe one or two every event. This offer would definitely be of worth. It would give numerous players the chance to get some much needed protection, from the lowest ranks, right up to Legend. The amount of Endgame players I see with very little protection is a joke. It's surprising they bother at all, as they are barely even making the numbers up. As far as events go, my idea to add some worth to them should be implemented. Crisis as a prize (unless it's buffed) is just not worth the effort, especially as it takes a whopping amount of cry to upgrade, just like armadillo.

    They do it to keep you playing. And this player base will do exactly that. So laughable. Yip, there is that also. Very sensible. They are counting on that. Usual tactics from the things.

    What "THE COMMUNITY" wants and what they get from the devs are so far from each other, it makes the span of the entire galaxy we inhabit seem like a pleasant walk around the block in comparison. As for the joke that is tc. It will not and NEVER shall be like the original back in the day. The devs NEVER intended from the very beginning to make it anything like "back in the day". For starters, those used to the other joke that is TO now would most probably cry if certain things were left out of classic that they have grown used to. Any who bought the early access are going to be so disappointed with the end result. tc numbers will seem ok at the beginning, but will tail off drastically unless they fall for the enticements the devs will surely throw their way, for cash of course. The player base never learns from harsh lessons, just how the devs like it.
