Then they're noobs for a reason, you don't ram up into somebody's face and expect to use the turret to its full potential. Railguns would be defenseless against a well hidden Magnum; peek-a-boo will not save you. Agree with Magnums joining the camp spot, it's annoying when you can't turn your hull due to some clueless Magnum teammate blocking movement.

Not at my rank, I also see no one using the decreased cone alteration because it's nearly impossible to do the circling. I have rented the alt during the sales to see how it would do but I think true Freeze players are at a disadvantage especially on faster hulls. Firebird needs to outrun Freeze and do as much passive burning as possible to prevent getting frozen and ultimately killed, particularly in obstacle-rich areas. These encounters screamed for an increase in damage for Freeze; making them much more interesting aswell.

If you get to a point where you keep damaging yourself you should consider changing your playing style. Damaging yourself is not a primary reason to wear Magnum protection. Thunder is a mid to long range weapon so I understand why Thunder users would use protection against their own gun. Magnum on the other hand should barely encounter enemies in the camp spot behind a wall. There the primary reason for Magnums to wear protection paint are enemy Magnums. How's Thunder without splash damage by the way, does it suck? Are you having trouble with the slow reload considering you need to hit people straight on?

The forum requiers you to register, I think a lot of players are put off by that. Those who want to do more in this game than just playing usually register on the forums to catch news and take part in discussions. I'd rather have likeminded people in one place than the entire T.O. community spamming the place full of posts to gain post count. This is why I like the register 'barrier'. The EN forum community doesn't represent the average T.O. player.. in a good way if you ask me. Tanki Online does plenty of advertising in the news section with various links to the forum so I'm sure most of the players know about its excistence but a lot of them don't even bother to register and instead visit it as guest; language would be the biggest barrier I guess.

The guy is asking for a stabalization alt, isn't that the peak damage reduced and minimal damage increased? No lucky shots, no unlucky ones either. Sounds fair enough considering the massive damage difference between shells.

Yeah I don't mind it that much either. Mine has 18 MU's currently; We'll see what they do.. I'm plopping away shells in the meantime. life is easy for Magnums.

Ohh but perhaps it'll be temporary buffed in 2021 and then nerfed again after sufficient crystals have been spent among the players on protection paints and Hammer + it's MU's. If you're unlucky though they might come up with a damage decrease for the stock configuration and let you buy an alteration to gain back the original damage. Perhaps they might even introduce splash damage to the pallets and make an alteration to remove it. Future is uncertain for every permanent equipment here. We've seen a sudden stat swap between Viking and Hunter and Twins alterations to remove the added splash damage. Magnum on the other hand remains a mistery to me, I have no idea why they didn't nerfed it yet... not that I mind though! Freeze's buff was welcome but they gone a little overboard with the damage IMO; it's a shame it's freezing feature didn't improved. Freezing targets won't (directly) get you more XP though.

I am using 47% protection against Twins and I don't feel it's giving me any advantage. This thing shouldn't be this powerful if you look at the skill level it takes to operate; Ah well, it's good when they're on my team.. they are effective and every fool knows how to put some dead weight on their spacebar.

It's true, I see it aswell in CTF when I use Mammoth. I guess the health is discouraging and the main objective is still to capture flags anyway. On the other hand there are always enemies who notice that you're farming kills and target you as if you were a Magnum. Shaft got a new enemy aswell: Freeze.

That's true but the main difference between the two game modes are supplies. In the end we all play with the same hulls and turrets. Technically it's all possible with the settings in pro battles. But no one does them because they're addicted to consumables and T.O. fuels this habit with them missions drones and overdrives. I agree, I'd much rather have matchmaking in pro battles aswell when it comes to battles. There's nothing better than to keep finishing battles instead of finding a free spot in the winning team; where you are certain that one side in a 7-0 match will dry out because of the overall mentality in this game. Matchmaking all the way. I take the blowouts for what they are, fund isn't so bad currently. If only we had a map filter where you could check and uncheck maps before letting matchmaking search that'd be great.

I'd rather stick to one combination and microupgrade that one. In the end you'll get the item for free anuway; might aswell take advantage of your MU's in that specific rank range. Kits have items in them that you don't need such as (expensive) paints. And indeed keep doing missions but all 3 of them for maximum revenue. There are 3 missions a day so why do just one. I have an alt account with just Magnum and Hornet at M2 10/10. I can really notice the microupgrade advantage. I also have plenty of supplies because of the missions.

PC! -Windows Tech support hangs up- I think the guy probably needed the password of my windows account to 'help me' I did not lie though, my PC is called PC. I 'misunderstood' his intention.

That's pretty intriguing, sounds like a key-map sequence with some other intelligent software to track tanks or something. I've seen it happen on other online games aswell. Those guys had a program that ran the game itself though so the system could easily detect if you were playing the game trough a dedicated client or an unknown program. I'll be on the lookout armed with my screen recorder.

If you don't use supplies you don't need the missions :D I just wish players would use their brain and make pro battles without the stupid supplies. If those battles become more common I'd be 100% playing in them.

The buff was needed but they overdid it, it's incredibly powerful. I think they will nerf Freeze after players have invested crystals in both Freeze and protection paints against it though. But I was thinking the same thing about Magnum for a long time and they haven't touched it in 1,5 years. Protection paints are the answer. Time to buy Freeze protection. Isida could've been nerfed much more. Like a decrease in damage of 60%. It is still the best turret to farm XP by far.
