Parkouring for Battle: Part II Many players know what parkour is; the act of a person or many persons to reach an otherwise unreachable place. An example of this in Tanki is climbing over the slanted walls on the side of nearly every map in the game. While most players take this as an activity separate from battle, a few, skilled ones can use it as a significant advantage in battle. In this article, I will list three positions on three maps that can be accessed by two tanks or les. While the same techniques are used to reach [nearly] every place shown in this article, I must say that the purpose of the article is not to teach new ways of parkour, but just to show some places that you may not have known about. (And are effective positions in battle.) ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Map: Combe Position: Thunder : Firstly, make sure that you are climbing the correct wall. It is much easier to be shot at by your opponents if you climb the opposite side (Red team’s in CTF and TDM modes.) Drive up to the wall, parallel yourself with its slope, and shoot the ground while driving up. Once you reach the elevated area, quickly drive behind the small water tower, beside the red house; it is much more difficult for others to hit you back there than if you stayed near the ridge that you just climbed over. Railgun : A railgun user wanting to go up there must two one of two things. 1.) Get on top of another tank, and drive into the wall. This will cause the tank on the bottom to straighten itself with the wall, while the tank on top can drive up and over the ridge. 2.) Equip Hornet M3, and activate a nitro while on the opposite side of the map. Start driving backwards at a 90-degree angle with the wall. Just as your hornet is about to land in the Blue Team’s base, fire your railgun, pushing your toward the wall.. If done correctly, your tank should fly to the top of the ridge, hit it, and do a complete flip, landing on its treads. This method may take a few tries! Map:Polygon Position: Railgun : Railgun and Hornet is the preferred tank for this spot. Drive off and onto the small ledge next to the fence. When your feel that your tank is about to fall, shoot toward the wall and drive forward at the same time. Repeat this as many times as necessary until you reach the other side. Happy camping! Map: Tribute Position: Thunder and Ricochet : These are the only practical weapons for this spot, seeing as one must be able to climb the walls quickly and preferably without the aid of another tank. This spot is best for players of the blue team to hold the enemy’s flag, while their enemy holds theirs. It is very difficult to get a good shot at a tank up there, especially a low-lying viking. With good skills and a good team, returning the flag from that point is nearly impossible for the Red team. To get there, just drive into the wall, and shoot the ground until you reach it. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

If you do not like the game at its current state, then kindly stop whining like a toddler who can't get his favorite toy at the store, and stop playing play the game. Others have different opinions; who are you to try to influence them? Tanki does not force you to spend money, bud. If you feel that you must pay for crystals, then you are the naive one. :wink:
