If you have a good team you can easily finish the Massacre 7-0

Good team? No. I played in M*ssacre many times and I can tell you that having a "Good Team" (bunch of average to above average 9000-9999GS ppl) is not enough. Maybe you'll cap a single flag but it's luck based. And if you cap one flag you'll potentially cap another since the enemy team gets destroyed mentally and just stops trying for some reason lol.

To 7-0 in Massacre map you need MONSTER TEAM that has more stacked 9999GS than you have atoms in your body. Or a Good Team with Magnums/Viking in very specific spots and attack at very specific timings which is near impossible since like half of the team needs to work together. The Magnum + Attacker strat works every time btw. A cheat code ?

The problem is that in Massacre the second you reach the middle of the map u r basically in a 1 v 10 at all times. There is no hiding spots and the map itself is a joke. You can drive like normal and all of a sudden you hit gigantic invisible polygon and flip on what looks like straight terrain.

Any fixes I can think of (without changing the whole point of the map) just make it so it's either a joke to cap a flag or near impossible. CTF should be removed from Massacre. Only SGE, CP, TDM and ASL should be left.

Would be nice if in one of the future event modes they bring back the mechanic of having the flag positions inverted where the enemy flag is in your base and vice versa. Just to see how it would feel in a limited time MM event with modern gameplay.

Come on you know why. ? Most times you play Massacre for the draw and hope someone on your team makes it out with the flag somehow. Whether that be by luck with crit/status RNG/AFK enemies or overpowering them with a coordinated sweatsquad. Like you said it's already an uphill battle at 0-0. The average player might as well stop trying to win if they're down 0-1.

the thing is it happens in every map lol. Many times my team would sweat buckets to cap make it 1-0 and all of a sudden capping 2nd flag as easy as cutting butter. The funny thing is that there are also many battles where losing team doesn't give up and eventually wins like 6-7 which leads to most fun and actually balanced matches in MM even when rank and GS spread on paper is absolute garbage.

obvs i mean enemies dont leave instead just stop trying to defend their base.

The current killzone is so bad, especially in Halloween mode when I get the Juggernaut and you get cornered by 10 B0-NK you have to retreat to the space where it's clear and then you get self destruct without going that far. It also applies to MM, but it's less concerning than the event mode. Here's two solutions :

1) Make it a cooldown of 5 secondes when you reach the limit of the battle, which will be seen by the player concerned. After the 5 secondes, self destruct will occur.

2) Make a barrier appear that pushes you when your tank exceed the limit of the battle so basically remove the self destruct but a barrier will block you from ''exiting the battle''

1st point seems valid enough to be implemented, it has been suggested in the past as well if I'm not wrong.

For 2nd point, barrier is let's say not a strong suit of TO, the Game has always relied on self-destructing the tank, so I don't think Devs will implement a barrier around maps.

(The chances that the 2nd point gets implemented is very low)

Thank you for your time, but the 2nd point should still be an option because it should replace the fact that you automatically self destruct in forbidden areas. It can be very frustrating, especially if you're the Juggernaut. So an invisible barrier that could just prevent people from exiting the battle instead of self destruct should also be considered. There's some places in MM where we're not aware if we'll self destruct or not by going there. Example : with hopper od in the high ground on a tall house, etc.

for the new year celebrations, there should be old maps of new year, the new remastered maps, with the lit brightness at night is not good, the old night maps should be considered this Month, moreover players with low end pc cant play remastered map

I can assure you that the map selection for this year's holiday celebratons has already been finalised, along with the other details of the event. It's too late to suggest anything for this year. Moreover, it's pointless to suggest bringing back specific maps. Developers are aware that those maps exist, so they will include them in holiday events based on a number of factors, including player feedback, quality of gameplay, performance, themes, etc.

I hope devs will bring those maps back. Its been 4 years since some of them we're seen in special modes and in my opinion past 2 christmas/new year events we're terrible in terms of maps selection (How do you want play whole week on a single map?). So if there's some Gold Rush mode which we have every year then those Old New Year maps are needed. On Halloween we have old Halloween maps and New Resmatered Halloween maps combined together so why not do that on christmas event aswell? Tho after all I believe we will see old New Year maps this year on some mode.

And if not Im still excited for the new Remastered New Year map and next year for Night mode on Remastered maps ?
Early Happy Holidays everyone ❄️

last year, there was only remastered winter maps, which if played at night, blinds eyes while old special maps have night mode and more parkour stunts + the solo juggernaut

Map skins, like sandbox legacy.
There used to be a texture pack for tanki that made everything in the game into legacy skins (2009-12).
The devs could've easily implemented that in the game since it was open source. Hell, even profited out of it somehow.

I am not sure whether this idea has ever been given out in the past, but I will post this either way. Back when there were plans on publishing tankionline 2.0, there was something in the trailer that caught my attention, and its the sandbox map. I honestly love the looks of it and think it could very well suit with today's tankionline environment. In my opinion, it would be a great addition to have such map(s) in the game, especially since the game is thriving towards the tanki X/TO 2.0 design.

Overview

One of the strengths of Tanki Online is the large variety of maps available across its different game modes. Every map offers its own style of gameplay, encouraging different strategies and play-styles. However, because the next battlefield is selected automatically, players sometimes encounter several maps in succession that they may not particularly enjoy, leading many to leave the lobby before the next match begins.

To make the transition between battles more engaging while giving players a greater sense of participation, I would like to suggest the introduction of a post-match map voting system.

The purpose of this document is simply to present the concept and demonstrate one possible implementation.

The Core Idea

Once a battle has concluded, players who remain in the lobby would briefly enter a voting phase instead of immediately loading into another match.

During this period, possible maps and game mode combinations would be presented on screen. Players would have a few seconds to select the option they would most like to play. When the countdown ends, the option receiving the greatest number of votes would determine the next battle.

If no clear winner exists, one of the tied options could simply be chosen at random.

This approach preserves variety while allowing players to influence the direction of the next match without significantly slowing down matchmaking.

Why Introduce Map Voting?

Rather than replacing randomness altogether, map voting introduces a small element of player choice.

Potential advantages include:

  • Giving players a reason to stay in the current lobby instead of searching for another one.

  • Reducing frustration caused by repeatedly receiving less popular maps.

  • Making the time between matches more interactive.

  • Encouraging players to participate together before the next battle begins.

  • Increasing anticipation for the upcoming match.

Because the available choices would still be selected randomly by the game, diversity across maps would remain intact.

Interface Concept

The attached illustration demonstrates one possible presentation of the voting screen.

b4VoT8o.jpeg

Each option displays:

  • A preview image of the map.

  • The map's name.

  • The associated game mode.

  • A live vote counter.

  • A countdown timer indicating how long players have to cast their vote.

Design Flexibility

The exact implementation would naturally be determined by the development team.

For example, the team may decide to:

  • Adjust the duration of the voting phase.

  • Control how maps are selected for voting.

  • Prevent recently played maps from appearing too frequently.

  • Decide how ties should be resolved.

  • Limit voting to certain matchmaking queues or events.

These decisions would ultimately depend on technical considerations and game-play balance.

Closing Remarks

This proposal is intended only as a community suggestion from a long-time player who enjoys Tanki Online and would like to contribute an idea that could enhance the multiplayer experience.

Thank you for taking the time to consider this suggestion. Regardless of whether it is pursued, I appreciate the continued effort that goes into developing and improving the game.

Regards,
Violation

Suggested multiple times before, probably going back to 2018 when MM was first released. I don't think devs want to add it, but I do support the idea.

Did you write this all on your own ?

@NikmanGT Yes I wrote the proposal myself but a little bit of Gen AI was used for formatting and final touch up.
