Ok, the Mk1 turrets/hulls are in Rare, are those containers all in Rare? Definitely no. As Rare requires 10 containers, so they must be 230 containers compensation, not just 23. And if we will substract the possibilty of getting Rare or higher from them, I say lets substract 50. So they must give us 180 containers compensation.

Also what if I get a turret/hull from ultra container?  Have those 23 containers took this thing into account.

Definitely they're not more than enough

What exactly are those hulls & turrets? They're simply container-rewards!

For every Mk1 turret/hull, you get a container. So if any of your containers got wasted because you got Mk1s of equipment that you already have, then those containers simply got "replaced" by other new containers. These containers may or may not give you a reward having the same rarity as the turret/hull that you got, but that shouldn't matter at all. The wasted container got a new container as compensation (or replacement, in a way). 

Once you remove all Mk1s from your container-reward-pool, the remaining containers give you extra rewards!

Weak attempt by whomever drafted the patch notes.

Concerns Regarding Rankups

For the most part, this update is great!

 - Common Containers are now less valuable than Ultra Containers

 - Ultra Containers are now worth their price

 - Legendary augments are in crates

 

I only have one problem:

Rank up prizes are now only 1 COMMON container?

From my experience with playing Tanki Online, ranking up has always been perceived as a special moment for a tanker, especially with the reward appropriate to their rank.  I, like others, hate the reward of ONE common container (especially at the higher ranks)  and is worth aproxementaly ~1000 crystals,  a disturbing difference from the 20-40k usually received.

 My only request is that the value of rank-ups are reverted

As seemingly containers are working by starting the pool of categories first then the starting the pool of items in the chosen category. If your roll have chosen Rare, then after it started again it have chosen a turret you have, there was a probable of getting another RARE item than that turret. So the compensation must be of the same tier, or at least if we take it mathematically it must be 180 containers instead of the 23 for all of turrets/hulls .

Also you haven't answered about the ultra containers part, or you agree with me in that?

Most of the players in the forum have an alternate account, so VIC2000 most probably have a higher account.  Also higher rank don't give your post more value, if his post is correct it still correct even if he have less than month experience in the game. It's very wrong also to assume that players of a hull as a skilled than others. Even though if I will assume, I will say .. .

Hopper was immune to flip, so Hopper players are noobs, because they flip alot so they used this hull.

@Yveltal9 Unannouced in the patch note were nerfs to the Status Railguns and Large Calibre Rounds with Viking's Overdrive. These are what the changes to the number of shots fired and damage coefficients look like:

 

Incendiary Railgun

  • 17 shots ---> 13 shots
  • x3 ---> x2.5 

 

Cryo Railgun

  • 17 shots ---> 13 shots 
  • x3 ---> x2.5 

 

EMP Railgun 

  • 17 shots ---> 13 shots
  • x3 ---> x2.5 

 

AP Railgun 

  • 17 shots ---> 13 shots
  • x3 ---> x2.2 

 

Stun Railgun

  • 17 shots ---> 13 shots
  • x3 ---> x2.5

@DestrotankAI9 Additionally, Round Destabilisation's damage coefficient is still x1. That was not fixed so my guess would be that it's intentional, for whatever reason.

Gee, I'm SO EXCITED for my ONE FREE CONTAINER after spending MONTHS getting enough experience to RANK UP that I can also effortlessly get from missions! (and yes I am being extremely sarcastic) :DScreenshot-2022-01-16-195914.png

 

Another thing you failed to mention, MARCUS, is the NERF TO THE WEEKLY MISSIONS! ALL GIVE THE SAME AMOUNT OF CONTAINERS! How do I know? Because I never opened a batch that I got from the last set!Screenshot-2022-01-16-201409.pngScreenshot-2022-01-16-201105.png
 

Also a "special reward" isn't special when you can effortlessly get it from missions and the value of it is crap!Screenshot-2022-01-16-201047.png

Not true majorly, the introduction of hopper offered a completely differently gameplay. The ability of hoppers to catch supply boxes (mainly gold boxes) better than everyone, its stabilizers (earlier version) which allowed it to strafe smoothly and not flip, light hull so decent amount of speed, and ability to fly more with turrets offering recoil presented an unfair advantage over others.

Wasp and Hornet are MORE 1 shot click bait, first all of them have the same HP, but Hopper have smaller hitbox and a huge advantage of strafing left-right which make the probability of getting hit exponentially lower.

I've been playing for less than two weeks now, so let me give you my thoughts on this update. I am a Chinese player and heard that there are a lot of benefits and activities in the outer service, so I chose to play. So I have spent 7000 rubles, unfortunately, I am now almost to the legendary level, but due to the impact of the update, I can not improve my equipment by matching and getting crystals faster in containers, and now the 7000GS is completely inferior to the legendary boss of 9000GS, and it takes a long time to do a daily task. This update is really unfriendly to new players like me, not to mention I spent 7000 rubles. There are only 1,000 sets of supplies, and crystals are already hard to come by, and I don't know how long I can hold out. Maybe in the near future, it will be time for me to say goodbye to this game, even if I once loved it.?

Yesterday i open a set of 15 containers too and got x15 1K crystals, i was kind of desesperate when i saw this.

The daily mission when completed gives container with MK1 hull or turret when player has a higher ranked like MK5  hull or turret.  The developers need to fix this problem as its been happening for some time now months.

This is completely wrong and misleading !

 

I have purchased the kit "all turrets and hulls", including all of these, that  were available in 2018 and have soon upgraded all of them to at least MK1, some to MK4.

You reasoning is so stupid. It is like i say, " everyone is so noob and haters because they dont play with the new meta freeze". One can dislike hovering starfing ability, or light hulls. Not every hulls is the same kind of gameplay, some will feel bored playing with hopper even if it was OP. But one thing is sure, hopper with plasma torch was a legal hack you cant argue. It even get fixed now.

You purchased the m0  version of those hulls, not the new mk1. (I know this is still ridiculous but thats what happened)

Hitbox doesn't matter if you see what I am main-ing. All Probabilities are equal unless I get hit under the Freeze effect. I hate that update. That Freeze effect is special and undeserved treatment. I spent 245k for Adrenaline and I have barely got over 10% damage.

Anyways why are we talking about this? I thought we were here to share our hate *cough cough* Opinions about the update.

No, mate — that's like saying "I had 50 eggs out of which 23 turned out to be "bad" (analogous to 23 Mk1s), so I need a compensation of 180 eggs because the "bad eggs" could have been beautiful chickens (analogous to getting a same rarity item)!"

If you had 23 bad eggs, then you got 23 new eggs as a compensation. If you had fewer bad eggs, even then you got 23 new eggs as a compensation. Now please keep in mind that these 23 eggs cannot all be bad when you compare this situation to the Mk1s from containers, because you already got bad eggs (Mk1s) before! 

You can't and mustn't count your chickens before they hatch.

As far as I know, you cannot get turrets/hulls from Ultra Containers.

As @numericable (and I, too) said above, it seems as if the system doesn't recognize an Mk1 if it was obtained after the conversion from M0.

Ok as you assume, I will also assume.   Let's assume they putted all of 23 turrets/hulls in Exotic rarity(assuming Exotic still exist), and they gave us those 23 containers. Do you think they're a good compensation for you when you see red light from container then it turned to be Mk1 thing you have?

All I'm saying is that every wasted container got compensated by another container. Even though it is extremely unlikely that someone gets 23 Mk1s from their hard-earned containers, Tanki still gave 23 containers as a compensation (even if you lost less than 23 containers).

Adding Mk1s to containers was intentional, it's just that they made a mistake during implementation. 

It is natural to feel bad if you get a lower rarity reward in lieu of the wasted Mk1 container, but that shouldn't matter - you still got compensated with another container, which could also give you an even better reward. ?‍♀️

Unfair advantage, like playing the game on top of buildings. 

TO is a OP, cash driven, gimmick infested mess. 

Think that covers everything you need to know about TO.
