Basically, the ideology is to disable the drones and OD activation for the instant. Single shot of Jammer disables heavy active drones like Booster, defender & Trickster for the whole duration, and continuous shooting makes P2w drones such as crisis work like single supply Brutus.

I assume the underlying calculation is that running the servers becomes cheaper the fewer players are playing.

You can therefore save a lot of money if you ruin the game for as many players as possible.

If at some point we reach a threshold beyond which not only no one wants to play anymore, but fewer than zero players are playing, the costs become negative, i.e. turn into profit.

A brilliant thought!

That was a net buff to Dictator all things considered, though.

Whats the point?

So that more people will buy it and anything that's relevant to twins.

In other words, they make updates that'll give them profit even if we don't like them. That's why they keep buffing and needing items. Why they added gimmicks like status effects, ODs, drones, etc. Why they nerfed container rewards. Why they're making the game more appealing for the younger audience. So many more examples.

Pulsar seems really pathetic now. They should have just put Helios in the mini-game instead.

Helios is a balance joke. It combines PT and MFS. Pretty quick reload too.

 

Tbh the whole Ricochet Turret needs to be rework. Do people actually still use it to bounce shots? Rarely see it.

Disable Drones, turn of Bonus buffs, stops OD (maybe)

The old Ricochet was one of the best turrets in the game. Now it’s almost as bad as Thunder.

@LambSauce Well, if you use it with the Minus-Field Stabilization, since it increases range by 200% now it kinda restores the old settings except the fire rate is reduced.

thanks to OPex who recklessly nerfed range for mid-ranged turrets

he might be thinking "bouncing? who is he? i dunno"

paired with pulsar's emp it's reaally weak, since enemy can activate supplies just the next second (yeah i'm complaining about nerfing op aug lmaoo)

I still do ?   (because its still effective, all the time when using Rico AP and sometimes to shoot around the corners)

Exactly, but saying that it is a dead Turret, like Thunder was not long ago is a complete joke.

I see, but it's still better than nothing. And the less Status effects we have around, the better it is for all of us.
