huge issue having postings in the middle of the battle page. it takes away from seeing the battle , in this battle there was 4 postings of the jug being destroyed or responding in battle. its hard to see in clear back ground. bring back the old system.

also not sure why Ricochet is now weaker then beginning of the week, its now not worthy to use and other turrets over power it.

Player's Voice
About the update of laser cannons. Personally, I think it affects the game experience of players. The performance of laser in the game is not strong.
The problem of laser distance attenuation. I think the following are inappropriate

1. The laser gun has a long preheat. At the same time, the trajectory of shells will remain. No matter how far away. Can find the position of the laser.
Therefore, the long-distance attack is obtained by accumulating strength and exposing position.

2. Compare with scorpion. Scorpion attack range is more than 1000. If the distance is too far, the player cannot tell its position. And the impact is very strong. Injury and laser lovesickness. And equipped. Track rockets. This is obviously unreasonable.

Please someone respond to this

I don't understand why settings reset every time I enter/login. I changed my battle interface to center, but every time I login it resets, which is very annoying as I have to change this in the settings EVERY TIME. This makes no sense. This is also something that applies to other settings such as auto self destruction or custom keys. It ALWAYS resets. Is this a problem with my account or just tanki's issue?

I am using web version , there is no such issue with me. Are you using the client version or web ?

New UI is garbage, for the love of god would game companies let us toggle to the new versions instead of defaulting it. Also why can we activate repair kit on full health? anti jamming effects? also why remove the color from kill notification icons

Captured Hazel in my basement and asked him questions.
I suggested him simple clan missions for simple rewards (2 containers) 

HE DID NOT LIKE THAT! He said that 2 containers are too good for "simple" missions and said 10 Crystals should be the reward.

He also said that he nerf/buff turrets/augments in this way:
1. Each garage item has a different number

2. Hazel then googles random Number Generator and the number he gets he buffs/nerfs these turrets/augments. (interesting way of balancing...)

I asked him about Isida HD and he said that MANY MANY things related to Isida will come. (it could be just a couple augments i mean ofc he's not just going to tell things like that)

Ofc i had the primal caveman urge to ask him about Burning augment for Freeze and... look at this... BURNING FREEZE SOFT CONFIRMED!!!???

All things aside Hazel IS AMAZINGGGGGGG GUY i had a blast talking to him! one of the best matches i had in my 9 year career!

I don't have anything against camping. It's a long range turret, so it's good for camping.  I myself keep a good distance from enemy as that's how we are suppose to play using this turret so far.  And I agree that it got nerf in that aspect. But now Railgun is way better is a lot of other scenarios.

if you are referring to what I said, then I didn't say railgun is OP in long range. I said that even in long range, Railgun is not that good because it's hard to find distant camping spots in every battle as most of the maps and modes are mid range.

And even if one find such spot for camping, most of the times we won't be able to do high score compared to other team mates. (unless one is playing modes like TDM)

 

Only in really really long range without any augments.
On the other hand Railgun just became really great in mid-range.
For camping, one can equip other augments on Railgun.

Last year when Railgun got the first major nerf. I suggested that

"The damage a long range turret like railgun deals, should increase with distance. So at longer distance turret will deal more damage. "

Now this update is opposite to that ? but I feel like it's better this way?
I suggested increasing damage with increasing distance as Railgun is considered a long range turret.
But looking at this update, it never really crossed my mind that opposite can be this good.

If you still wish to use Railgun in really long range, then I will suggest augments like Round Destabilization. They are still good in really long range.

Or just go with Round Stabilization, it still doesn't decrease damage with distance.

Im also using in the web version, the settings never save. Do you mean that if you change something in the settings (like graphics) it remains the same? mine resets all the time.

Luckily for me the settings remains the same , try updating your browser or switch your browser into another. I use Chrome and Mozilla is best for lag-free experience.

(Hornet + Railgun + Death Herald + Hyperion)
I played 5-6 battles. Stayed on 1st in most of them. 
Won't say it's OP but I was able to do score way more easily compared to before.
I'm still doing a lot of mistakes due to different playing style & new interface. Hopefully it will be better once I get accustomed to it. 

As for augments, didn't try every one of them. But from the ones I tried, Death Herald seemed best.
Large Caliber and Round Destabilization also seemed pretty good.
Strangely Scout felt weak :x
Did they increase the reload for Scout? 
It felt like that, though it's not written in the Patch Notes.

For drones, I tested with both Booster and Hyperion and for some reason Hyperion felt better. Before the update Booster use to feel better. 
Only played a bunch of battles so can't say much.
Still I feel like now railgun is playable on more drones since base damage is high enough.

I wouldn't even know how to start. 
It does look like there was a competition for the WORST new layout. The new visuals are just horrible.

Can't you go back to the original symbols/colors?? They were so very much better!!

And I can already notice some changes in balance that are really unfair. I have a pretty decent tank, but got killed with single shots of whatever symbol that was. In the past I could understand the symbol by its shape and color. Now the symbols of the turret that killed you are all white, with very poor design. 

Unbelievably bad update.

Most of the changes I can tolerate, but the game notifications (Player has taken the enemy flag, Allies have captured Point A, etc.) are in a really bad spot, as they sometimes block my field of view. Maybe it's because they're a little too low (there's a little too much empty space between it and the timer), but I'd love for those notifications to be moved somewhere else. The top-left corner where they were originally is a perfect spot in my opinion, they're noticeable enough to get placed basically anywhere but not urgent enough to be looking at them at all times (at least in a mode like Control Points)

Hornet + Railgun (Death Herald) + Hyperion

Now I'm not saying that it wasn't a lucky battle, it was indeed lucky one (I mean there were some players with less GS in enemy team and only 2 players in the whole enemy team had Railgun protection).
But still I haven't done this much high score in ages with Hornet + Railgun in MM ?

(Note: Hazel if you are reading this, do not nerf the turret. I repeat, do not nerf the turret. It was just a lucky battle :x)

Mostly fine update, but with some flaws.


In the central mode for the battle interface, the nuclear energy comes before repair kit, and it seemed to me like this one should either be close to the overdrive like it was before or after the other supplies.


The changes to the turret kill icons. Ngl, kinda looks like crap. The monotone makes it a lot harder to tell them apart, and the new one for hammer doesn't look good in general. It's not really as good of a model of the turret, and the old one looked better anyway.

Was too good to be true, yeah but it makes sense when comparing it to the new LCR.

 

Round Stabilisation - Goes down a damage barrier on each damage type but normal damage does not decrease over distance and has a flat 50% crit rate. 

Round Destabilisation - Halved normal damage and slightly slower firing rate in exchange for a flat 30% crit rate and devastating critical damage.

Scout - Moderately decreased damage alongside a slightly faster firing rate.

Large Calibre Rounds - Moderately increased damage alongside a slightly slower firing rate. 

Death Herald - Shorter shot delay, longer shot reload, instantly reloads on a kill.

Hyperspace - Removal of critical hits and impact force in exchange for signficantly increased penetration % and removal of damage fall-off. 

 

The scaling between the two and Stock is actually great now, similar to Stock Smoky vs pre-buff High-Precision Aiming System and current Light Capacitors vs Heavy Capacitors. 

Scout pushes your damage towards that of Scorpion/pre-rework Railgun and gives it a 1.12 second shot delay. It comes out faster and increases the firing rate bit by bit against Stock with continuous fire. It's perfect that they didn't do some stupidity and push the critical damage under 1,500, normal damage towards 1,000 etc. The balance between the normal and critical damage is a little lopsided but still comes up to just over 4,000 with two normal hits and a critical hit. 

LCR gives you on-the-dot damage barrier breaks on your normal and critical damage: 1,500 normal and 2,000 critical. Shot reload time is increased and you still have to contend with Stock's 1.6 second shot delay meaning more time to steer off target. Against unprotected enemies, it pays off as you cross those crucial damage barriers. You can choose to go down to Scout or you can choose to go in the middle with Death Herald or Adrenaline.

 

I was upset about Scout because that was the first one I used after the update. But I started to appreciate it when I eventually got to LCR and saw the scaling between them. I'll understand if people say Scout is ruined though. It is an unprecedented direction to push its job when all of its past iterations had a much faster firing rate.

 

Between the three, I'm liking the new LCR the most. It should also be noted that with the slower firing rate with Viking's Overdrive, Death Herald can get more shots than the others if you get kills.

I haven't updated the interaction change topics yet. The main thing this current version gets is the critical damage going above 4,000. Normal damage is still below 3,000 which is good. LCR retains its niche that way, with a proper firing rate behind it. 

Round Destabilisation previously needed Booster to pass 8,000 damage with normal + critical hit but it gets that innately with the new damages. 

Stock Railgun needed Booster to pass 6,000 with normal + critical but now gets that innately within the maximum damage range. 

Previous Round Stabilisation was JUST on the edge and had 2,997 normal but above 3,000 critical. Current RS doesn't get that with Booster anymore. 

Current Hyperspace got the push it needed from the Stock normal damage buff to have its first penetration at 20/20 be above 4,000 damage. 

Current LCR doesn't pass 8,000 with normal + critical hit with Booster. 

 

So yeah, Booster doesn't really take it that far in this iteration. Scout, Death Herald and Adrenaline should be the main beneficiaries of it now. Crisis and Camper are the ones that do the destruction now. Camper because Railgun now passes the 1,334 barrier which with triple damage will one-shot unprotected heavy hulls.

Another iteration means more unannounced changes to the damage coefficients with Viking OD. I haven't checked all of the augments yet so I'll list them when I do. It was painful to do them in MM because of the impact force bug on mobile but at least there was special missions that I could complete while doing it.

It's possibly because of cache clearing.
