Wow .thet  Changed it in a better way , like they actually care / read  . Well , for once they did right  , kudos when must be given too .
If only you could fix garage in a similar manner , devs, that would be great )( thopse enormous tabs is a time loss everytime) ^^

Well first, I'm disappointed in the Rico status nerf. That was the only guaranteed-status method that required skill of some sort, and it's gone now. Thankfully I have Helios because Rico is my only Mk8 turret right now. They also just destroyed RRE with that splash radius nerf

To be honest I never thought much of "THAT" interview.

It was a complete waste of time and the questions that were asked were quite lame.

There wasn't a single question that touched on anything regarding the "QUALITY" of the game and how to improve it.

TO is a complicated, augment infested mess. Add to that the constant parameter changes of these augments and the complications just seem to get worse.

Here is a little breakdown on what I think is good and what is just useless.

1-Game concept = very good

2/100 = average, going all the way down to abysmal. 

101 = same old, same old.

The reason why Ricochet is special is that it bounces and is very useful in defense and also useful in attack. Canceling the status effect after the bounce makes the 5 augment useless. Perhaps thinking about reducing the time period for the status effect would be great. The only ones who use this augment are players who cannot confront the opponent due to his strength. Therefore, they use it for defense only, and the weapon also features in maps that do not exceed 3, or perhaps 4 at most. A secret augment has been added that protects players from all the 5 status effect augment  of the Ricochet, except for burning and freezing. It will be wonderful to confront Ricochet when using a secret augment. It will make you appreciate the time you wasted on obtaining the secret augment. For the tank, please return this feature or return the tank coin that was spent in order to obtain a rare augment that has been weakened.

I rarely take the time to comment here, but I will always insist that the aiming system for Magnum needs to go and is to blame for its downfall.

Yes, Magnum needed a nerf, but the recent changes it has undergone are for the worse. I believe that the reason Magnum was so toxic to face was because it required no skill for anyone to use. With it, you could get direct hits on anyone while completely staying out of their attack ranges, and repeatedly apply annoying status effects as well. Thanks to the aiming system, it took no effort to do this. 

Now, after the nerfs to Magnum, the only thing that has changed is the strength factor. You can still directly hit anyone from any range with absolutely zero skill required but can't deal as much power per shot. So now, you deal less damage and cannot capitalize whenever you apply the occasional status effect due to the slow firing rate. Against someone who has full protection against it, status Magnums are unplayable. People may celebrate, but for players (like me) who love the potential that Magnum could have and hate the brainless behavior it still currently encourages, this turret will always remain in the bottom tier until something changes for the better.

So, on this low note, here is how I would have liked to see the Magnum issue addressed. First, I would have liked to see the aiming system removed, so it actually requires a nonzero level of effort to deal damage. And secondly, I would have liked to see the status effect radius decreased back to direct hits only, and have status effects be guaranteed on direct hits only. These changes would make Magnum a higher-skilled, higher-paying turret, and most importantly, keep it balanced (not trash, and especially not broken).

However, it is clear that not everyone's intentions are to bring out the game's potential and maintain balance for all. But, if you at least gave this a read, I appreciate you. ?

I went to check and found that the sniper's ARMOR-PIERCING SIGHT was still ARMOR-PIERCING for 5 full seconds. Are you kidding me? On the other hand, Ricochet's 5 augmen became like garbage. Do you know how many boxes I opened to get just one augmen and in the end it was weakened to the point that it didn't even work? There are no other features, such as the increase in the number of bounces, it will cause critical damage, or the burn will increase to 1.00, or the freeze will increase to 1.00. Do you know what? I will not play this game. I have been trying to adapt to its changes for 10 years. Damn my wasted time here.

Well but imo its good change, its status effect should apply only for crits so why making exceptions? People did complain about status effect recently and devs adapted to that and now we are gonna complain that status effect are being nerfed ? Nah I have rico armor piercing and emp one and I dont mind change.  Magnum vas super toxic  with  this "exception" hammer too.... rico was skill based but still it was toxic to being perma stun. Now we will see less status effect augment which players wanted to. 

 

About magnum nerf - I agree, some maps were completely unplayable due to magnum flood - for example map Desert was totaly magnum paradise.  Good change tanki.

  Not bad idea I am not magnum player so as long as it is not toxic and OP I am fine.  I just hated when some players last resort was magnum vacuum for revenge and you could not do anything.

You may not like it but thats how the business works. If you're willing to "open many boxes" you should look at the future. Tanki nerfing and changing metas is nothing new though this concept is still hard to understand for most players. People complained about status effects NON STOP. Do you really thought your status augments will stay like that forever? It's obvious that the Status Effect meta is ending and the new meta was Burst Damage but quickly changed into Effect Meta again. That was the first sign that status effects are going to get nerfed soon. When I buy boxes I know that the augment im trying to pull has 99% chance of getting nerfed or changed in the future. 
When you buy a PC you don't expect for it to stay the same after 50 years. Same here you know that your augments will be artificially aged out just like how your PC will age and its hardware will be replaced by more powerful one. 

(Before you say something I have all status augments except AP isida and Jammer Magnum. So technically this nerf hit me the hardest but look im not complaining.)

I use magnum a lot, and even I agree that the nerf was a necessity. Maybe not to such a huge degree though. Vacuum core NEEDED a gigantic nerf. It rewarded you for missing your targets, and with magnum's old splash range it was ridiculous, you couldn't hide from it if you tried. I always prefer to play magnum actually hitting targets (not least because I never got vacuum core lol). However, now that splash is incredibly unreliable for even damaging a lot of targets I do feel like a damage increase is welcome. At medium ranges, it's fine as it is, but actually hitting your targets from faraway deserves rewarding with a proper amount of damage. It's in the name, magnum, it should hit stupid hard whilst remaining hard to use. Although with the aim assist I do suppose it would be rather OP... Mag was better before that change, actually took skill to hit your shots. Though we all know that skill is irrelevant in this game if you have the money to spend instead.

As with all changes the devs bring in, they go OTT.

Magnum and rico are just two more useless turrets because of augments, because both relied heavily on them to be of any use.

Gone are the days when each individual turret was actually "UNIQUE".

I played magnum quite often, now I just don't bother. I also hated the auto aim as I had become quite skilled and could usually out do other magnum players on the enemy team. 

All turrets should have only one special effect that is unique to that turret.

Augments, floating hacks and the copy/paste attitude, along with countless other mechanics of the game are just sinking it further into the cesspit of greed.

Base Magnum was fine as was without the aim assist. It was a safe but skill turret. As a magnum user, I had to remember degrees and power in order to hit a certain spot. Before aim assist, I could not complain when a Magnum made a perfectly timed hit on me because I knew of the skill required. It had the most damage, but also had the biggest learning curve.

Magnum Main for some years here, i agree with the status nerf for Magnum specially the Vacuum core, but i find bad that the standard Magnum suffered the consequences of those broken augments(Even though it didn't change my play style nor my K/D), as i've been playing on mobile since 2021 the aim assist simply make this turret useful if you remove the aim assist then that turret will get as useless as an nano-bots isida trying to kill a Juggernaut.

i play a different Magnum play style depending on the mode and in the situation i am in the match, sometimes i camp, sometimes i go aggressive, sometimes i support the team.
i also enjoy to kill campers and i do direct hits.
i don't have any good augment for it.

... i take back what i took back and the kudos too  ... again ENORMOUS tabs con mission page ,   and to know  the taks needed , you have to hover mouse on EACH tab or info is hidden..
tedious and annying  time wasting feature,
"interesting" , truly.

I think Magnum itself was fine before the aiming assist as well, it was just Vacuum core and the op burning effect of incendiary core that needed a nerf.

Anyways, RIP Magnum ?
