You did an event in which there was one exploit that a lot of people took advantage of. What will people get in return after fixing the bug who spent tankoins/crystals on points that they can't use now? There are people who had 10 or more points and now they have nothing in return, only wasted time and tankoins.

Also, any other game would have done the same thing and updated the mini game once they saw it. No reason to get mad at Tanki for changing it

can't believe im saying this but Uncle Hazel does have a point. While you think you informed everyone that is "not living under a rock" in reality you at best maybe informed like 5% of the community. All the games I play have huge online communities way bigger than tanki's but when you look at the entire playerbase you realise that the online community makes up like 10% of the entire game community. Many games have the same thing and believing that Tanki is somehow an exception is flat out stupid.

 

either way this event is too much of a scam for me to bother. I'll just take my 49900 crystals that ill get at the end for doing nothing and be happy with it.

 

EDIT: this is entertaining lol its tankis mistake and they are fixing their own mistake. i see nothing scummy about that lo.
@Opex-Rah instead of fixing this mini-game you should show some love for Shaft. DC Shaft Skin + OP Shaft augment this haloween.

And no, I am not siding with the devs, this event needed a bit more thought clearly, it is what it is. Be constructive and move on? People out here expecting straight to the platter. Don't worry, I've been sleeping on the latest events since none of the items in there have been worth me playing on the main.

Infinite epic key generators and '5 augs' of great variety on this are a huge difference to the 5 rewards of which everyone gets the same items. One can clearly see the huge divide this would create.

 

Tbh, a 'temporary fix' would be to instantly release all event associated augments into the common and epic container's legendary pool to allow 'timmies' to have a chance to claim these (people would cry about it even then). But yeah, if there were people just generating epic keys, then it's more than obvious what this means. Akin to one of the old tk generator halloween events after a certain step before the rng was adjusted.

I don't usually respond to forums, but I can't help with few things here.

 

First, let’s talk about the rules. Yes, players agree to the rules when entering an event, and yes, the developers have the right to make decisions regarding events. But the key issue here isn’t just about what’s technically allowed by the rules; it’s about the fairness of punishing players for discovering and sharing patterns that came from poor programming. This wasn't some exploit using third-party tools—it was just players using their brains within the game’s design.

 

Second, players like you who claim that none of the augments are “worth your time” are often the ones sitting on full arsenals of pay-to-win items. It’s easy to dismiss others when you already have everything, but when people find a way to level the playing field without spending tons of money, it suddenly becomes an issue, right? The fact that others might get the same “broken” augments without shelling out real cash seems to be the real problem here. ( I would feel bad/dumb as well, if I saw others get same broken augments for free, that I spent tons of money on , but I can sleep just fine without latest broken augment in my inventory)

 

Now, I do agree that some action had to be taken because people could eventually get unlimited points, and not everyone knew about it. But since this was poor game design from the start, the right approach would be to revert the changes and compensate everyone with a fair amount of points. That would be a more balanced solution instead of punishing the community.

 

And just to be clear, I wasn’t even part of this exploit. But I can see how unfair this situation is and why the players are upset.
