Ah, the classic event. 'Catch 3 gold boxes in matchmaking battles' and 'Earn 30,000 crystals in matchmaking battles.' Really, a walk in the park, right? And with the matchmaking system being as stellar as last time, if your team’s already at a disadvantage, you’re pretty much on a one-way ticket to failure. You’ll be lucky to scrape together 450 points (good luck with that 'Catch 3 gold boxes' task, by the way). I think teams should be re-shuffled every day to ensure true fairness and randomness. So, in the worst-case scenario, you’ll have to spend 700 Rubies just to get 450 points, then another 2300 Rubies to buy 600 points. In total, that’s 3000 Rubies for 1000 points.

I can't understand why developers are so obsessed with these events that pit players against each other, shifting all the tension onto the players. It’s honestly pointless. Instead of depending on player conflict to boost engagement, they should focus on making the game more balanced and fun. Or at the very least, they could narrow the reward gap between winners and losers—cut down the rewards for winners and give a bit more to the losers. Winning players won’t be thanking the developers for the massive rewards from this event (since they can’t guarantee victory every event), but the losing players will definitely think, 'Oh, just another trash event.'

By the way, they included 'Destroy 30 tanks using Striker turret in matchmaking battles' alongside these tasks. What does that tell you? Haha, trash Striker.

Would be better if the shop for the augment was open all the time instead of having to wait 20 days for it especially when knowing we get the rewards immediately after collecting them i dont see the point of waiting almost 3 weeks for them

In addition, catching 3 gold box in the current MM battle, without the event mode, it's nearly impossible since the drop rate of them is way too low, at least consider before this mission release to increase by a lot the gold box drop rate... it's only 1k crystals too

That is correct. If you do not complete the contract, you will not be eligible to receive points for that specific day.

Why would anybody want to join this event? You pay rubies in advance. If you don't complete the mission (eg destroy juggernaut three times in one day), you will get nothing. and if you complete it what you get depends on how well the rest of the team performs. If you are stuck with a poor performing team, your points will be low and wont be able to get anything interesting from the prizes.

 

Maybe its better to spend the rubies on something guaranteed from the shop, like one of bundles.

For the possible prizes. This is not the first time we've had this event. If you do not have many Rubies to spare, yes it would be better to spend it on something more profitable or on something you know exactly what you're getting.

thats one of the worst advice I have seen here... bundles are usually trash, only value is from epic keys and that is way more RNG than chances in this event.  for 700 rubies you have at least one guaranteed legendary hull augment, and statistically you have 75 % chance that your team will have at least 1K point by the end of event  from which you can buy 1 exotic augment. So in conclusion you have 75 % chance to have 1 exotic for 700 rubies. Now look at bundles in shop, the cheapes bundle I found Is key bundle for 850 rubies which will get you 15 normal and 15 epic keys +1 weekly.  What are your chances to get 1 exotic from there?

the gold one should be changed , is really too difficult and demanding for semi casual players . Rest i can agree,. i took it but regretted it , my bad i did not read well enough ( also the button in the event page  did not brought me to shop as usual , but it DIRECTLY bought pass , i did not expect that )

sorry but this was suppose to happen a few weeks ago , why post it now seeing we lost out on about 2 weeks of events. I just got mine On Feb 3 2025 ???

From January 24th 2 AM, till February 13th 2 AM UTC, “Team Contracts” will be added into the game.
