have to say the event mode is absolute steaming stinky wet hot garbage.

1 microsecond after you spawn youre targeted by like 3-5 people

10+ people have lifeguard and hopper 

grenade makes no sense. my enemy takes 2000 damage no stun (no repair kit) while i take like 1 pixel of damage and get stunned.

frames get tanked to 10-20 for like 5 seconds for literally no reason.

golds barely drop even tho its 'increased' and 9/10 of them are completely worthless monster kill or 1k crystals so might aswell make it a normal gold event.

Well, I'm not surprised that the new grenade being spammed reduces my FPS, and makes it very likely for me to get a screen freeze before the end of the battle. I don't like Noise as a DM map, though I concede it was put here again because of the Salyut change.

I have a low chance of catching any golds. Dumb auto-aim nerf removed a lot of turrets I felt comfortable playing with. Taking any screenshot during a battle puts me at risk of a screen freeze not far into the rest of the battle, and that's assuming it didn't give a screen freeze immediately after the screenshot was taken. I don't feel enthusiastic about this event. I don't even feel like tallying the gold box rewards I see like I've done for the past 2 years. I consider this first week, and my first April Fools event with HTML5, to be ruined. Hopefully next Friday has further optimisations to reduce screen freezes in general and when playing with Salyut.

Trash maps, and why are there billions of players in tiny maps? I never understand the developers' mindset.

If you've created hundreds of other maps, why do you stick to just a few? These useless maps aren't your girlfriend that you need to stick with for a lifetime!

If you want more people to play events, you should make them more interesting, not remove the double rewards from quick battle.

I caught 100+ golds and not a single one of it is 10k or 50k crystals. This mode is scam.

Hopper festival v2 has just opened! And another big disappoinment

Event mode is completely unplayable due to those jumping poops being everywhere + teaming and when you attack one of them, all attack you + stealing all golds. Why on every Randomizer maps Overdrives are ON?! Cause "Dictators would take almost all of them and ruin all fun!!" So lame...

And that rocket grenade "Salyut" does literally nothing since in like 99% cases it doesn't kill them due to lifeguard or they are flying near it so fast they easily take it before dying or get hurt. Only more usefull in Gravity or Noice, but mostly for kills.

Also as I've mentioned Gold Boxes, are there really increased chanes of Gold Box being dropped?! Just few in 1 battle is a joke seeing how "More Gold Boxes" are turned ON. And the fact most of them are 1k crystals + 2 bonus gold boxes or some lame m-m-m-m monster kill when no one's around. Luck is needed to both get something really good than usually and to catch it since it's dropping faster than usually and hiding in tunnel or under bridge or as mentioned hoppers quickly getting them with jumping or their speed. 

Guess I'll begin to hate April Fools events and find some other favourite event in Tanki.

Dear Developers, May I know the reason for again changing game mechanics decreasing daily and weekly rewards? (added 100 xp) Now you have made it to 2 Rubies for Daily and 12 Rubies for weekly rewards. Earlier it's been 3 Rubies for daily rewards nd 15 for Weekly.  WHY!?

No, it wasn't. It was 3 for daily missions and 5 for weekly missions, totalling 21 + 5 = 26.

Now it is 2 for daily missions and 12 for weekly missions, totalling 14 + 12 = 26. 

Now it is weighted heavier towards weekly missions, and those weekly missions received the endgame QOL adjustment that allows them to be done in 1 day instead of forcing you to complete them over 3 days like before.

It was originally 3 rubies for the weekly supermission. It was changed to 5 rubies in Patch #780 on November 1st, 2024.

The current patch #794, decreased the daily supermission from 3 to 2, and increased the weekly supermission from 5 to 12. The patch note topic is right next to this one so you can see for yourself.

Those were screenshots from November, right after the Ruby update. I don't convert any of my Tankoins to Rubies unless I'm about to purchase something.

The situation is completely unbearable in the current SPECIAL MODE, and the next one will be just as bad.
80% of the players are using Hopper with Lifeguard, and a large portion of them are also teammates, making the gameplay absolutely unenjoyable. This is not the April Fools event we know!

The Salyut bomb doesn’t solve anything at all. It can’t do anything against Hopper's Overdrive mechanics.

At least in the previous special mode, maps like Gravity, Rift, and Skyscrapers had Gold Boxes spawning instantly at specific spots instead of falling from the sky. This meant that Hoppers didn’t have a major advantage. But in this mode, they are completely dominating!

I really hope that during the upcoming restarts, Overdrives get disabled. Augments aren’t the biggest issue, but Overdrives completely break the balance.

joined these massive 10+ people teams and have to say the mode instantly got more enjoyable. just use hopper yourself or something and don't kill people that dont try to kill you. the only thing that makes the festive mode playable...

I totally agree, this is such a shame for this game... they should've disabled overdrives or make it hopper only, like they do during Space in Tanks event. 

The Salyut grenade is so useless against hoppers and quite frankly only usable with a normal, non-hovering hull.

The problem is not the hopper players that actually are in need of the gold boxes, it's the goldhunters that are maxed out. I personally have been maxed out for years now and I only play this game for the deathmatch modes, cause I like not being dependent on a team, but then again, many players in the legend ranks are just teaming up against low ranks and players that don't want to team up.

It's called Deathmatch for a reason lol

I don't want to play all day like I used to do with other DM modes the past couple of months just because it becomes boring hunting hoppers, all you see is hoppers during April Fools Day, which is sad to see honestly.

Love it or hate it, this has been the worst April Fools Day in years, if not the worst of all time.

Not everyone has a fully upgraded garage, and that's the real issue. Special mode should be balanced so everyone can enjoy it.

hopper is a worthless tank. maybe make golds take longer to fall or spawn higher up in the sky, or else yoiu need to disable player-supplied nuclears else the mode is unplayble. turning off augs completely would be a plus. remember i cant play hopper at all after the latest handling patch made floating hulls overpowered
