After playing the game for so long, I saw for the first time that the comment section was filled with excitement and happiness, which is a good sign,I also hope that game developers can do the same thing when facing tankionline, calm down and listen to players' wishes,Selling various game destroying small items to players for a while may increase revenue in a short period of time,But facing the longer-term development of the game may not be advantageous

I am so glad to hear that the expectations were far more exceeded than we thought. At first I want to deeply thank everyone who somehow contributed to this project and who will contribute more, I am sure that everybody will help with the votes and try to decide the best for the project. Unfortunately there will be many new players (2020-2025) in the closed beta who will vote about the game and they do not really know how the older game was. Still, I hope they have learned something from all the old youtube uploaded videos and try to feel what we all felt back in 2012-2019. I am sure that we will have a very good time in the TC project. Tanki Classic might be a good alternative for many players out here. I personally will probably play both versions of the game. New and Old. 

What I personally would like to see is missions in Tanki Online that give you Rewards in Tanki Classic and vice versa, this would encourage players to play not only Tanki Classic, but also Tanki Online (seperate missions from the normal missions in both games ofc). 

For example: 

• Complete 5 Battles in Tanki Classic to receive 100 rubies in Tanki Online
• Complete 5 Battles in Tanki Online to receive 5 Containers in Tanki Classic

Not sure if anybody else thought of this before, but I personally would like to see something like this happen, some sort of cross-over. Rewards can and should be good for both games. The rewards could be given out as Promo-Codes to redeem in TC (TCXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX) and TO (TNKXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX) which you will receive after completing the corresponding missions.

To be honest, I like the hype ongoing about it, I have a similar school (big) project where there's a planned release in a year or two, and to be honest, the release plan will most likely be inspired from the way it is from tanki classic. I like the way it went under the light pretty quickly, then sometime later, not too long enough to kill that hype, the bundles appear, and in the middle of it, you've got the Vlog reviving that hype all the time.

I started playing Tanki Online in 2010, which means I've been playing the game for 15 years, which is a lifetime!
I spent the beginning of my adolscence and now my adulthood playing this memorable game and I was very, very excited when I heard about Tanki Classic and I had already set aside money to buy the early access and I did! 
For the first time in the history of this game, the devs have listened to us, the players who love this game so much and want it to last forever, but never lose its essence! I speak for myself, I don't like flying tanks, drones and all those things that aren't part of the essence of Tanki, which I fell in love with when I played it for the first time and have stayed with for 15 years. I hope you'll keep listening to us, I hope Classic goes as far as Tanki Online.

I was kinda hyped about Classic, but the thing with overdrives and augments kills all the excitement inside. I was hoping to be something similar to TO from back at 2014/2015 ngl (without augments, overdrives, drones) with each paint having it's own purpose of protecting you from some type of weapon. I would be maybe okay if they decide to split paints and protections like we used to have (for example we used to buy sets of protections which used to have protection from 3 different turrets, for example there was one which used to protect you from fire, hammer and magnum). The attack/defense was much more fun back then in compare to nowadays. 

I am excited to try it. If it's somewhat similar to TO on it's release, I am simply gonna keep playing TO tbh. I would like for developers to have it in mind what I wrote above and on the other note if they stick to augments I would rather prefer to have 5 augments at most for each weapon rather than 10-15 like in TO nowadays for which half of them to this day I don't know what they do so I gotta search on Wiki.

is gona be a way to change nicks in tanki clasic. i want to buy the early acces but i dont want the nick that i have on TO. is it going to be possible that in the test time of TC that the players who bought early acces can change nick to somthing they would like. (a nick that isnt chosen by other people that bought early acces) or if this isnt the case is it gona be possible to change name at all when the game officaly lauches?

Idk if you will be able to change nickname directly in Tanki Classic, but here is a thing, if you buy early access and then change the nickname in Tanki Online it will also change in Classic. However, after "Freeze Date" all the data will be frozen and unable to change via Tanki Online.

I'm a former player from 2009. The game had become truly uninteresting, with everything becoming P2W. Between the new turrets and wheels, the protections against certain weapons, overdrives, supplies, etc., the game had become infamous for players who didn't want to or couldn't invest in the game.

I haven't played Tanki Online since 2017. Since then, I've been checking it out two or three times a year, and I saw it getting worse over the years. Most of the community has disappeared, making way for players who invest money. Free-to-play players no longer had a place in the game.

It's truly regrettable because Tanki Online Original is truly a great game. I remember all those hours spent playing, battling other players with great skill, ever-increasing strategies, all the people I met in the game. All the friends I made. Even though they'll probably never return to Tanki Online, I want to salute and thank them through this message.

I just happened to be watching the game's news and suddenly I saw this wonderful announcement. I'm so happy to see that the original Tanki Online is coming back. If you must know, I cried after seeing the details of the announcement. I even have tingles in my back and arms. I feel something I've never felt before, I can't explain it. I'm so happy, I remember all those wonderful times spent on my old computer, which is now a toaster.

Back then, I couldn't afford to pay crystals to support Tanki Online; I was just a child. Now I'm an adult, and I'm going to take the third offer to support and revive Tanki Online.
Let's give Tanki Online another chance, let's revive the game from the ashes! Let's relive all those wonderful times spent in-game again!

I sincerely wanted to thank the developers for finally listening to the community and making the right choices. Keep it up and don't make the same mistakes.

I can't wait for the game's release and to reach Legend rank!

I haven't played the game for a while now but Tanki Classic really caught my attention, even considered to buy the early access. However I can't really find anything detailed on the hulls and turrets that are going to be available. Also if they gonna keep the modifications separated from paints. Can anyone clue me in if there is any detail hidden somewhere?

Check out the → Vlog 523 ← where they talked about the equipment in Tanki Classic. It seems they included turrets up to Striker in the graph. Seems the newer turrets after that will not be present, so no Tesla, Gauss, Magnum, and Scorpion. I guess that also means no hovering hulls either. I would say the paints will be separated from the protections as they previously mentioned that Tanki Classic will be a mix of various positive features taken from several different eras and years.

Nice to see Veteran being devalued. Of all paints to pick from, they choose the hardest paint to earn in the game. Kinda insulting to eSports players from the old days who worked years to get this paint but oh well, I'll look forward to people who cant turn their turret completely ruin the image of this paint.

I suspect they did it to entice players to participate in TC.

Veteran paint should've been available to purchase for players who joined before a certain year. Maybe 2015/16.
