Bienvenue, mag-fan!

I'm glad you clicked this instead of some other article. Very glad! Now now, how do I reward you for this? Well, how about a good time? Fancy a good time, don't ya? Then grab that chicken and start reading this exclusive interview with THE NS! Because when you're done reading, you'll emerge as a wiser person. For is Magenta-stuff not wisdom?

Don't you dare even think of the n-word, bugger!

Participant: @Night-SistersEx Newspaper Admin.
Previous articles about her: Meet the New Reporters*, Interview on Love, Tanki Community Hobbies.

Hello! Want me to grill interview you?

@Night-Sisters: Sure.

Let me make you aware of your rights.

Everything you say henceforth is subject to being published in any means as desired by me, unless you specifically include your secret information in brackets like this:

(Off record: gold mult is Martian)

@Night-Sisters: (Okei. Understood)

You have the right to throw a shoe through your screen if you feel provoked.

@Night-Sisters: Mm...that sounds beneficial.

You must not make fun of any typpo I make, since this is natural given that I'm on my phone right now. (I was then)

With that, let's begin.

@Night-Sisters: *Points at typo* *Laughs*

*Shoots with nerf gun*

Interview

Look who's here! K seriously though, most of the current forumers here don't know you, so why don't you introduce yourself?

@Night-Sisters: I know, I'm practically a dinosaur at this point.  :D I'm Sarah, aka Night-Sisters. I was a reporter and newspaper admin during the more-or-less benevolent reign of @GoldRock.

As far as I recall, you were something of a legend. True much?

@Night-Sisters: I mean, I can't compare with the real legends *cough* hogree *cough* but I'd like to think that I made my own mark on the paper  :D.

Certainly, I made some wonderful friends from my time there.

Hogree! The chicken guy?

@Night-Sisters: ++. The one and the only.

Right. So why did you vanish?

@Night-Sisters: In a word: college.

And the game was in a bit of a downward spiral when I left, so it was as good a time as any to pull the plug. I'm currently getting a BA in Spanish and English at a school - that will remain unnamed for my privacy's sake - and that's taken up much of my time.

So were you kind of addicted to Tanki?

@Night-Sisters: Wasn't everyone kinda addicted to Tanki xD? I spent way, wayyyyy too much time on there for my own good. But I don't regret it because I made fantastic friends along the way that I still keep in touch with even now. Shout out to @tweezers, @GoldRock, and @Shedinja ))).

So what was the best thing that happened to you during your time in Tanki, apart from meeting great people? What was the best experience, which were the greatest lessons learnt? What did you enjoy the most?

@Night-Sisters: The best experience was the reporter group chat, by far. The |3anter was real, and getting to collaborate with a variety of perspectives was absolutely fantastic. The greatest lesson was the real-life skills I learned that transferred over to college very nicely... working with people, learning how to lead, be organized, work to a deadline, etc. What I enjoyed the most, hmm... I'd have to say working with a team of people that absolutely had my back, no matter what. (Aww, all of the nostalgia.)

Why did you fall in love with the blue paint? It's so ugly. And cheap.

@Night-Sisters: Because blue is the color of the ocean and the sky. And...Idk... I'm just a blue person, with streaks of reddish purple running throughout  ;).

But they don't really suit in a tank. I mean, I'm an orange person, both colour and fruit-wise, but I don't like the orange paint.

@Night-Sisters: Blue just looks fantastic! I didn't need showy paints to kick everybody's butt at XP, hehe.

Right, so you're just the classic person.

How do you feel about the decline of The Newspaper and the AWC right now? Do you think it's the result of the inevitable decline of the game - the result of bad management - or something else? What would be your advice, as an ex-admin?

@Night-Sisters: I've had loooong conversations about this. The Newspaper and AWC decline are definitely linked to the decline of the game. The decline of the game itself is partly bad management, and partly that they weren't proactive. In my opinion, Tanki could have been saved by moving to an Xbox format way back in order to have access a new user-base, and not updating itself into the ground. But the past is the past.

What gave rise to #BlameTheNS, if you happen to remember?

@Night-Sisters: I actually don't lol, I have no idea how that all started haha.

Noob. Well, #BlameTheNS. Did you know that some people think the hashtag is now an old thing that should be forgotten, buried with history? Do you think this is right?

@Night-Sisters: People can do what they wish with it  :D.

Waw you so liberal.

Do you call your real life friends 'nug' under your breath when they act like one?

@Night-Sisters: No, I say it on their face XD.

What is their reaction?

@Night-Sisters: They look at me strangely, 'cuz they have no idea what it means pft.

Ikr  :P. So you do have a part of Tanki in you that you haven't left, the language. Same for me.

@Night-Sisters: Yeerp.

*Thinks of next question*

@Night-Sisters: Gl XD.

Here comes the cliché question... how did you get to know about Tanki? What made you stick to it?

@Night-Sisters: Well I haven't stuck with it lol. I found it because my brother started playing it... and he found it on Miniclip. I stuck to it because I loved the game, and then...RIP xD.

But you did love the forum, the newspaper. If you're given the time, would you come back to the forum, at least?

@Night-Sisters: Mmm... possibly. No promises, but I might pop up every now and then over the summer.

I'm sure we'd love to welcome you back, for however short a period!

Alright, let's pack up now. Anything else you would like to add?

@Night-Sisters: One word for you: busted.

eMsG8JqTS5GZWfnWvcXSvA.png

-_- I'm gonna unleash my pet @Hate on you now! *packs up suitcase and leaves in lightning speed*

@Night-Sisters: In all seriousness, thank you very much for the interview, that was fun. Best of luck to all the Tankers, and of course... #BlameTheNS.

For what?

@Night-Sisters: This interview. *Drops mic*

Kk bai mult.

Did you have a good time? Yes? Great! No? Then tell me in the comments where I went wrong! Feedback is always appreciated, as is your attention. Thanks for reading! Weeee...

Oh, and thanks to @rishabhhaunt for making the nice banner for us under my able guidance!

Haha, you made a mistake.

Check this: "Best of luck to all the Tankers, and of course... #BameTheNS." :P should it be #BlameTheNS?

you could have asked her about that story she wrote half way and never finished... It's the only thing that's stopping me from ending my life

*BEEP* At the end you show it as 'Alright, let's pack up now.' when the screenshot clearly shows it was 'Alright, let's pack up.'

For some reason I enjoy picking typos and grammar mistakes out...

And anyway, we just lost a Grammar Nazi..

Don't you dare even think of the n word, bugger!

The fall leaves crunched under Exe's feet. There wasn't much-

Scratch that.

There was no time left. The haze of orange leaves was almost straight out of a romantic novel. Swirls of red and dashes of yellow danced around the candles littered on the forest floor, softly landing on soon-to-be scorched ground. Exe hurried now, trying to get the ritual started. A candle here, red markings there, it would all soon be worth it.

But would "soon" be enough?

Exe cursed. He had exactly twenty seconds until the nether realm would be inaccessible to all, man, beast, or tree. The ritual itself would only take but a fraction of a second, but its preparation would burn up precious time.

Literally.

Fifteen seconds left. The candles were lit, the markings complete, the sun sliding uncontrollably past the horizon. Exe gingerly stepped into the middle of the occult mess. The markings flared.

Ten seconds.

All that was needed was the word itself. The lost soul took a shaky breath and conjured Magenta into his mind. Oh, how dare that usurper tell the world that he was the lord of the AWS. How dare he indeed.

Five.

The smoky image of Magenta burned itself into Exe's mental eye. Carving deeper, yet deeper into his soul. Unearthing long-lost memories and burrowing into thoughts of vengeance, it finally stamped itself firmly onto his heart. The target was set.

Four.

The candles' flames roared up suddenly, as if in applause. The fall leaves were now withering away in the heat, leaving behind an unearthly ash. Boiling, churning around the towering blaze.

Three.

The netherworld revealed its hideous self. Ghouls and demons danced to the screaming lights. There was no turning back now.

"What shall we claim, human? What will you feed us? Answer!"

Two.

Exe's eyes opened. This was it. The word he needed to banish Magenta once and for all rose up from his blackening soul, writhing up, searching for his tongue.

One.

And it found its mark.

"Noob."

The demons screeched, the earth trembled, and the flames grew ever hotter, merciless in its thunder now. Amidst all the uproar, another, weaker scream could be heard. Gurgling, slowly dragged down into the depths.

And suddenly, it was no more. The autumn leaves kept falling, the forest floor was as it had been for the last hundred years: Serene, calm.

Exe made the sign of the cross and walked away.

"Return from whence you came, Grammar Nazi."
