nothing to do with this post then? http://forum.tankionline.com/posts/list/49121.page

i would support this. i am not interested in moderating. but would gladly help to remove hackers until the problem is resolved.

tanki makes a lot of money from sales of crystals for drugs. so tanki makes double reward for NO DRUG battles? so tanki sells less crystals and gives more away? dont ever run your own business. you be on the street living in a box eating from dustbins

there is a map editor. there is a map making team (where you think the maps come from). most maps submitted dont pass either the quality or content selection process. maybe 1 out of 50. its not as simple as you describe to add maps to the game. many technical factors to consider.

the worry for me is this. the hack can be bought online very easily. you would assume that the first think the devs here at tanki did to combat the hacks was to acquire the hack program and look at the way it works, what code it uses etc. after all its a program that interacts with the tanki engine. so as the hacks are still happening and more and more maps get added to the hack engine, the question is that the devs here have had at least a week to crack the hack engine and patch the code that has compromised the the tanki game engine. does this mean that the hacker has cracked the tanki code, yet the devs here cant crack the hackers code? i think so. this could take a while to fix i fear. until this problem gets fixed something must be done to combat the hackers in the game. mods are overwhelmed at the moment. the most they can do is ban a hacker from chat and boot them from the server! all the hackers do is log back on and join another game. we need more mods, mods need to be able to enter games invisibly and then mods need to be able to IP ban the hackers. a report button i needed also so that mods know what games the hackers are in. at the moment the best thing to do is to make games as high a rank as possible, say WO5 min. most (yes not all) of the hackers are on noob accounts. unfortunate for genuine noob players, but if you are of a high enough rank, start creating games they cant join.

well, for what he did anyway i already said hotwheel should be tied down over bamboo shoots. and i wouldnt be surprised if he helped to cause this. the intention was there anyway. disgusting.

the hack has been made on an engine. i have seen the engine. it hacks directly into the game and replaces the hackers map with one created in xml by the hacker. i dont understand why silence was removed, as it only takes 10 mins to create a hacked map of any of the cards (maps). the engine then hacks the game and uses the replaced map as explained above. the hack code of the engine needs patching. until they do i am afraid all of the maps will probably become hacked. :( by the way. look at this link and you may get an answer as to why hotwheel knows (or thinks he knows) http://www.mpgh.net/forum/2-general/288907-tanki-online.html see below the hack..... nasty nasty people

no theme here, no one has complained about any and every tank that beats them being 'overpowered'. just a discussion regarding the overpowered weapon freeze. also, no one in this thread has complained about tanki developers, or unfair bans. why do you feel the need to mention such things? i dont see what it has to d with the thread content at all - totally irrelevant. as for strategy; use strategy all you want. i have played against you with my freeze and mammoth and your little hornet and m3 richo got ripped apart. bottom line is some tanks and weapons in this game are stronger than others, some of those weapons are overpowered..... now let me get back to the lobby and complain about the mods banning people with my 'fair-minded brain'. see ya.

try reading what I have said.... not once have I said I dont like it. The whole point of the ENTIRE thread is that Freeze is O.P. And disagree about the reload. I dont know for sure, but would guess its quicker than firebird, isida and richo.

since I first made this post I have in fact done what I said in the original post and started using freeze as my main weapon of choice. I stand by what I said initially. Freeze is seriously O.P. I drive an M3 Mammoth, M3 Freeze and Python paint. The combination is virtually unstoppable when drugged.

i totally agree with this. however there is no need to be ageist or sexist, we should all be able to experience a prejudiced free playing environment. howeer i dont see what this point has to do with the suggestion i have put forward; is it that difficult to comprehend?
-
point is, immature or otherwise, there would be no argument. as for the mods, there is a list of bans/warnings for every member that the mods can see right away.
-
i'm sorry but i don't have a clue what this means. please excuse my ignorance.

Before I get started I am not here to question the moderators/admins. This post is just a suggestion to help clarify the warn/ban process, for the benefit of both members and Mods. At the moment it seems that there are inconsistencies regarding the way that some members are banned for breaking the rules. Some get bans for an hour, whilst others get banned for a day, for breaking the same rules. My suggestion is that there should be a set of guidlines that are adhered to. For example: (these are examples) For spamming: First offence - warning. Second offence - 5 min ban. Third offence - 1 hour (etc) For profanity: First offence - 5 min ban. Second offence - 1 hour Third offence - 1 day ban (etc) Obviously these rules could be applied, and laid out for all violations of rules. The benefits for members are that instead of getting a warning and a link to the rules, the member would get a link to the set of guidlines - making it clear what the penalty for further violation of the rules would be. This would also make the job of the Moderator a lot easier, and would avoid any accusation of inconsiderate moderating. I am sure that if repeated offenders knew that they were one violation away from a week or even a month ban, they would think twice about breaking the rules. I think this change would benefit all, both moderators and members and would provide transparency and accountability for all.
